Abstract

As células solares utilizam, como substrato, vidro (23) revestido com uma camada condutora transparente (21) que recolhe a energia eléctrica gerada pela célula solar. Essa camada (21), normalmente um TCO, tem condutividade limitada, obrigando a linhas colectoras de corrente de aplicação complexa. Aumenta-se a condutividade dessa camada condutora (21), pela aplicação de uma estrutura, em particular uma quadrícula, de linhas finas condutoras (22) inseridas em ranhuras na superfície do vidro (23) ou aplicada directamente sobre este, seguida pelo revestimento com camada TCO (21). Essa quadrícula (22) altamente condutora recolhe a electricidade a partir da camada de TCO (21) e dirige-a para a periferia da célula. Ambos os substratos de vidro são selados através de um processo que emprega um precursor de vidro circundando todo o perímetro externo do substrato. O precursor de vidro é aquecido até à fusão, por laser, selando completamente os dois substratos do módulo
