本发明涉及一种多媒体广播组播业务(MBMS , Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service )发送状态变化的通知技术, 尤其涉及一种多媒体广播组 播业务发送状态变化的通知方法与装置。 背景技术
随着 Internet的迅猛发展和大屏幕多功能手机的普及, 大量移动数据多 媒体业务如视频会议、 电视广播、 视频点播、 广告、 网上教育、 互动游戏 等涌现出来。 这些移动多媒体业务要求多个用户能够同时接收相同数据, 与一般的数据相比, 具有数据量大、 持续时间长、 时延敏感等特点。
为了有效地利用移动网络侧资源, 第三代合作伙伴计划 (3GPP , 3rd Generation Partnership Project )提出了 MBMS, 该业务是一种从一个数据源 向多个目标传送数据的技术, 从而实现网络侧资源的共享, 提高网络侧资 源尤其是空中接口资源的利用率。 3GPP定义的 MBMS不仅能实现纯文本 低速率的消息类组播和广播, 而且还能实现高速多媒体业务的广播和组播, 提供多种丰富的视频、 音频和多媒体业务, 这无疑顺应了未来移动数据发 展的趋势, 为第三代(3G, 3rd Generation )通信的发展提供了更好的业务 前景。
目前,在 R9版本( Release 9 )的长期演进 ( LTE, Long Term Evolution ) 系统中引入了 MBMS技术, 并在版本 10 ( RIO, Release 10 )中进行了优化。 在 R9 中, MBMS业务的控制信令与用户数据分开传输, 分别称为控制面 ( CP, Control Plane )和用户面( UP, User Plane )。 控制面通过控制业务的 开始、 更新和结束, 来控制用户面数据的发送, 实现基本的 MBMS业务的 发送。 MBMS业务在固定大小(可以由运营商初期配置, 但不可动态变化) 的 MBMS单频网 (MBSFN, MBMS Single Frequency Network ) 区域中发 送。在 R10版本中,为了提高 MBMS系统的资源利用率,方便运营商管理, 对 MBMS技术进行了增强。 主要有以下几点的增强:
1、 引入了 MBMS计数( Counting )机制。 其主要原理是: 多小区 /多 播协作实体 ( MCE, Multi-cell/multicast Coordination Entity )通过 M2接口 向演进型基站(eNB, evolved Node B )发送某些 MBMS业务的 Counting 请求; eNB在多播控制信道 ( MCCH, Multicast Control Channel )上向用户 设备 ( UE, User Equipment )发送该 Counting请求; 正在接收 MBMS业务 的处于连接态的 UE向 eNB反馈自身正在接收的 MBMS业务的接收状态; eNB将反馈结果上报 MCE。 引入 Counting机制的主要目的, 是为了让运营 商统计某些 MBMS业务的接收状态, 根据接收状态挂起 /恢复(或者激活 / 去激活)该业务, 提高无线资源的利用率。
2、 引入了基于业务优先级的资源抢占技术。 其主要原理是: 在资源紧 张时, 优先级较高的 MBMS业务可以抢占优先级较低的 MBMS业务的资 源。 当资源被优先级较高的业务抢占后, 优先级较低的业务被挂起, 并停 止继续发送。
3、 引入了位置区域的信息 (德国电信需求)。 当 UE位于某 MBMS业 务的有效区域内时, 可以接收该业务; 当 UE移出该区域后, 停止接收该 MBMS业务。
然而, LTE 的网络侧架构及 MBMS 技术与以前的全球移动通信系统 ( GSM , Global System of Mobile communication ) 和通用移动通信系统 ( UMTS , Universal Mobile Telecommunication System )都有了很大的不同。 在以前的 GSM和 UMTS中 , MBMS业务釆用广播和组播两种发送方式, 发送区域可以动态变化,而且有很好的机制保证点到点 ( PTP , Point to Point ) 和点到多点( PTM , Point to Mlti-Point )之间的切换。因此,在以前的 MBMS 技术中, 当通过 PTM方式发送的 MBMS业务中断发送时, 可以很容易地 切换到 PTP的方式继续发送, UE可以连续地接收该业务。
在 LTE的 MBMS技术中, MBMS业务通过增强型广播的方式, 在固 定大小的 MBSFN区域内发送。正在发送的业务在被去激活,或者被高优先 级业务抢占发送资源, 或者有效区域发生了变化时, 都将中止发送。 此外, 网络侧也可能因为一些其他原因, 如临时将资源分配给其他业务, 如应急 通信信息或者单播业务等, 或者在业务中间发送广告信息等, 也可能临时 停止一些正在发送的业务, 等待资源许可后再继续发送。 然后正在接收该 业务的 UE并不了解业务为何中断, 目前的技术中也没有通知 UE业务中断 原因的方法。
因此, 有必要设置一种正在发送的 MBMS业务发送状态变化通知的方 式, 通知用户目前正在接收的 MBMS业务中断的原因, 用户知道业务中断 的具体原因后, 可以作出相应的应对策略, 例如, 对于网络侧较长时间的 业务停止发送, 用户可以通过其他方式如单播等方式继续接入业务; 对于 短暂的业务停止发送, 用户可以等待一段时间后继续接收该业务。
正在发送的 MBMS业务突然中断而不通知用户具体的中断原因, 用户 会无所适从, 从而造成比较差的用户体验, 使服务质量急剧下降。 遗憾的 是, 目前的现有技术中并未有涉及 MBMS业务中断通知的相关技术方案。 发明内容
有鉴于此, 本发明的主要目的在于提供一种多媒体广播组播业务发送 状态变化的通知方法与装置, 能在 MBMS业务中断后将中断原因通知给接 收该 MBMS业务的 UE。

本发明的基本思想是: 当正发送的 MBMS业务发送状态变化时, 网络 侧通知正在接收该 MBMS 业务的 UE, 使 UE 用户知道当前正在接收的 MBMS业务发送状态发生变化的原因,这样, UE用户可以根据不同的原因, 选择具体的下一步操作。
为使本发明的目的、 技术方案和优点更加清楚明白, 以下举实施例并 参照附图, 对本发明进一步详细说明。
本发明中, 网络侧通过接入层( AS, Access Stratum )方式或非信令方 式通知 UE当前发送的 MBMS业务发送状态变化的通知信息。 所谓 AS方 式, 是指将正在发送的 MBMS业务发送状态变化的原因, 承载于多播控制 信道( MCCH, Multicast Control Channel )或广播控制信道( BCCH, Broadcast Control Channel )上, 发送给正在接收该 MBMS业务的 UE。 具体可以釆用 位图 (bitmap )或索引 (index ) 的方式对应所述 MBMS业务发送状态变化 的原因, 而将仅将 bitmap或 index的指示位通知给相应 UE即可。所谓非信 令方式, 是指网络侧通过短消息服务( SMS, Short Messaging Service ), 多 媒体信息服务( MMS, Multimedia Messaging Service )或其他非接入层技术, 将 MBMS发送状态变化的通知信息发送给正在接收该 MBMS业务的 UE。

正在发送的 MBMS业务发送状态变化通知, 可以釆用 bitmap或 index 的方式予以表示。 所谓 bitmap方式, 是指通过 lbit的信息来通知正在发送 的某 MBMS业务发送状态是否发生了变化。 例如, 釆用 lbit的信息来指示 正在发送的 MBMS业务是否被去激活。 当正在发送的 MBMS业务未被去 激活时, 将该信息位置为 "0" ; 被去激活时, 将该信息位置为 "1"。 当然, 也可以釆用相反的表示方式。此外, 釆用 bitmap方式表示 MBMS业务发送 状态变化时, 一般釆用 8bit的整数倍的信息位来表示, 如 8bit, 16bit, 32bit 等, 这个具体根据网络侧需要通知 UE的正在发送的 MBMS业务发送状态 变化通知包含的通知项来表示, 当通知项小于 8个时, 釆用 8bit的 bitmap 即可; 大于 8小于 16时, 釆用 16bit的 bitmap。 具体的, 当 bitmap的长度 L为大于所述 MBMS业务发送状态变化通知项数目 P的 8的倍数, 且满足 L /8j≤Z/8 < L /8j+l ;其中 L /8」表示小于 P/8的最大整数。 MBMS业务发送 状态变化通知项是指正在发送的 MBMS业务发送状态变化的原因, 如上文 提到的 MBMS业务去激活、基于优先级的资源抢占、 MBMS业务有效区域 变化等, 其中每个原因对应一个通知项。 bitmap中各信息位与 MBMS业务 发送状态变化通知项之间的对应关系, 可以由网络侧通过无线资源控制 ( RRC, Radio Resource Control )信令通知 UE, 也可以由 UE和网络侧预 先约定。
所谓 index方式, 是指通过索引的方式来通知正在发送的 MBMS业务 发送状态是否发生了变化。例如,当需要网络侧通知 UE正在接收的 MBMS 业务发送状态发生变化的通知项有 4种时, 可以釆用 2bit的 index, 即分别 用 "00" , "01" , "10" , "11" 来表示这 4种信息。 具体每个通知项所表示 的含义可以由网络侧通过 RRC信令通知 UE, 也可以由网络侧与 UE事先 约定。 同理, 当有 N ( N为大于 1的自然数)种需要网络侧通知 UE的正在 发送的 MBMS业务发送状态变化通知项时, 则釆用 M bit的 index来表示 这些信息, 其中 log2 N≤M < log2 N + l。 MBMS业务发送状态变化通知项含义 与 bitmap中的完全相同, 这里不再赘述。
当然, 也可以将正在发送的 MBMS业务发送状态变化的原因直接发送 给 UE; 或者,将所有发送状态发生变化的 MBMS业务形成一个列表( list ), 将发送状态变化原因包含在列表中, 一起发送给 UE。
正在发送的 MBMS业务发送状态变化的通知可以通过 MCCH或 BCCH 发送给正在接收该业务的 UE。 具体的, 可以釆用新设置的消息来发送上述 通知信息, 也可以通过在原有消息中增加新的信息单元 ( IE, Information Element )来发送上述通知信息。 UE接收到网络侧发送的通知信息后, 向 用户显示指示信息, 用户可以根据指示信息确定当前 MBMS业务中断的原 因, 从而选择下一步的相应的操作。
具体的, 网络侧发送 MBMS业务发送状态变化的原因, 可以发送一段 时间, 也可以周期性地一直发送, 直到该业务的正常结束时间为止。 例如, 当釆用 MCCH承载该 MBMS业务发送状态变化的通知信息时, 可以发送 一个或多个爹改周期 (MP, Modification Period )„
下面通过具体的实施例进一步阐明本发明的技术方案。
实施例一
本示例中, 网络侧直接将正在发送的 MBMS业务发送状态变化的通知 信息发送给 UE。 该通知信息通过 MCCH或 BCCH上的消息承载, 可以是 一个新的消息, 也可以是在现有消息中增加承载该通知信息新的 IE。
具体的, 可以釆用一个枚举类型的变量来定义 MBMS业务发送状态变 化的原因。 如增加一个 IE, 名称为 MBMS Suspend Cause, 其 IE类型和参 考可以为如下形式: ENUMERATED
( MBMS Counting Suspend,
MBMS ARP pre-empt,
MBMS Admission reject,
Temprory Suspend,
Advertisement,
Unspecified,
…)
上述 IE可以承载于 MCCH或 BCCH新增设的消息中, 也可以承载于 MCCH或 BCCH现有消息的新增 IE中。 网络侧根据 MBMS业务停止发送 的原因, 向 UE发送相应的消息。
正在接收 MBMS业务的 UE, 接收到上述消息后, 根据网络侧停止发 送 MBMS 业务的不同原因, 选择不同的应对策略。 如当收到的原因是 Temporary Suspend时, UE等待一定的时间, 继续接收 MBMS业务; 当收 到的原因是 MBMS ARP pre-empt时, UE可以切换到单播 , 通过单播继续 接收相应业务等。
具体的, 网络侧发送 MBMS业务发送状态变化的原因, 可以发送一段 时间, 也可以周期性地一直发送, 直到该业务的正常结束时间为止。 例如, 当釆用 MCCH承载该消息时, 可以发送一个或多个 MP。
本实施例通过直接发送 MBMS 业务停止发送的原因的方式, 告知了 UE当前正在接收的 MBMS业务停止发送的原因。 UE根据该原因, 可以选 择适当的策略, 选择继续接收或停止接收该业务, 并且可以给予用户一定 提示信息, 避免用户的无谓的等待, 提高了用户体验。
实施例二
本示例中,网络侧釆用 bitmap的方式将正在发送的 MBMS业务发送状 态变化的通知信息发送给 UE。 为描述上的便宜, 在本实施例中仅讨论存在 Counting挂起(或去激活)、 基于业务优先级的抢占、 MBMS业务有效区域 而导致的发送状态变化这三种情况。 本领域技术人员应当理解, 当存在更 多的 MBMS业务发送状态变化通知项时,釆用更长的 bitmap指示位即可表 示。
网络侧为正在发送的 MBMS业务配置 8bit的 bitmap来指示其发送状态 状态变化通知项与 bitmap指示位的对应关系, 例如, 釆用配置方式实现在 各 UE 中配置上述的对应关系。 在所述 bitmap 中, 第一位置起表示对该 MBMS业务 Counting后,发现正在接收或对该业务感兴趣的用户数目较少, 网络侧对该业务进行了去激活,该业务停止发送。置起是指将该指示位置 1。 类似的, 第二位置起表示由于 UE正在接收的 MBMS业务的优先级较低, 在网络侧资源紧张时, 该业务的发送资源被优先级较高的业务抢占, 该业 务被停止发送; 第三位置起表示 UE正在接收的 MBMS业务的有效区域发 生了变化, 而 UE当前不在该 MBMS业务变化后的有效区域内。 有效区域 发生变化的原因可能是运营商进行了 MBSFN区域的重新配置,也可能是由 于业务发生了变化, 其发送区域相应的也发生了变化。 网络侧在原本属于 该 MBMS业务有效区域, 变化后不属于该业务有效区域的范围内发送业务 有效区域发生变化的通知项。 当然, 通知项与 bitmap指示位之间的对应关 系也可以不必事先配置于各 UE中, 而是由网络侧通过 RRC信令事先发送 给 UE。
图 1为本发明 MBMS业务发送状态变化的通知信息项与 Bitmap指示 位之间对应关系的示意图, 可以釆用如图 1所示的 bitmap的形式, 来分别 指示由于上述三种原因而造成的 UE正在接收的 MBMS业务停止发送。 如 图 1所示, 图中 N/A代表 not applicable, 表示未使用, 可以留待将来的扩 展使用。 当然, bitmap中的 3个有效位可以位于 8bit中的任何位置, 其顺 序也可以任意安排,只要 UE通过预先与网络侧约定的方式或者网络侧发送 的信令可以判断出业务通知项与 bitmap指示位之间的对应关系即可。另夕卜, 对于两种或三种情况同时发生, 可以在相应的 bitmap的位置上同时指示。
UE对于这种情况, 可以只解析优先级较高的通知项或者解析第一个通知 项,具体如何操作取决于 UE的自身的实施, 由于实现解析不是本发明的重 点, 实现也^^容易, 本发明不再赘述其细节。
MBMS业务发送状态变化的通知信息可以承载于 MCCH或 BCCH上 而发送给 UE。 具体的, 可以在 MCCH上通过新的 RRC消息, 或者在原有 RRC消息中增加新的 IE将所述 MBMS业务发送状态变化的通知信息发送 给 UE。 也可以将所述 MBMS业务发送状态变化的通知信息承载于 BCCH 上, 通过广播信息发送给正在接收该状态变化的 MBMS业务的 UE。 这里, MCCH是指 UE接收 MBMS业务所在 MBSFN区域对应的 MCCH。可以对 每个 MBMS业务设置一个通知信息, 也可以针对所述 MCCH上的所有正 在发送的 MBMS 业务, 维持一个业务发送状态变化通知列表, 用来通知 UE在该 MCCH上的所有 MBMS业务的发送状态变化的通知项。 对于多个 MBSFN重叠的情况, 分别在其各自的 MCCH上发送其自身的业务发送状 态变化通知列表。 类似的, 在 BCCH发送时, 也可以釆用分别发送单个 MBMS业务发送状态变化通知项或者发送多个 MBMS业务发送状态变化通 知歹' J表。
具体的, 网络侧发送 MBMS业务发送状态变化的原因, 可以发送一段 时间, 也可以周期性的一直发送, 直到该业务的正常结束时间为止。 例如, 当釆用 MCCH承载该消息时, 可以发送一个或多个 MP。
正在接收所述 MBMS业务的 UE,接收到所述 MBMS业务发送状态变 化的通知信息后, 读取 MCCH或 BCCH上发送的 MBMS业务发送状态变 化通知或 MBMS业务发送状态变化通知列表中的业务发送变化通知, 并解 析自身正在接收的 MBMS业务的发送状态变化通知项, 解析所述通知项并 向 UE用户显示, 告知 UE用户 MBMS业务中断的原因。 具体的, 用户可 以理解的信息, 是指如 "MBMS业务被去激活"、 "MBMS业务被抢占, 发 送资源不足"、 "MBMS业务有效区域变化" 等类似的用户可以理解的文字 信息。
如网络侧去激活了某 UE 正在接收的 MBMS 业务, 则网络侧通过 MCCH或 BCCH向 UE发送业务发送状态通知信息 {1 , 0, 0, ... }。 UE收 到该通知信息后, 解读该 bitmap信息的前三位, 发现对应于 "MBMS业务 被去激活"的 bit被置为 1 ,则知道正在接收的 MBMS业务被去激活。因此, UE通知用户 "尊敬的用户, 由于 ... ...的原因,您正在接收的业务停止发送。 如果您愿意以单播接入, 请按确认; 如果停止接收, 请按取消" 等类似信 息。 当然, 在具体实现时, 可以根据 UE自身实现, 向用户提示相应信息。 用户根据 UE提示, 选择是否继续接收业务或其他操作。
相比于用户正在接收的业务的无理由终止, 本发明通知了用户业务终 止原因, 并向用户提供了继续接收业务的操作指示, 用户可以根据指示, 选择停止通过 MBSFN 方式接收该业务, 转向通过单播等方式继续接收该 MBMS业务。当然,也可以在 UE接收到 MBMS业务发送状态通知信息后, 根据 UE预设策略, 直接通过其他方式, 如单播等继续接收该业务, 保持用 户 MBMS业务接收的连续性。
本实施例主要是通过 bitmap的形式,将网络侧正在发送的 MBMS业务 的发送状态变化通知信息通过 RRC信令或者增加新的 IE发送给 UE, 然后 由 UE提示用户业务发送状态变化的具体原因 ,并提示用户通过单播继续接 收业务。
实施例三
本示例中, 网络侧釆用 index的方式将正在发送的 MBMS业务发送状 态变化的通知信息发送给 UE。 为描述上的便宜, 在本实施例中仅假设网络 侧总共有 4种导致正在发送的 MBMS业务发送状态变化的行为。 网络侧需 要通过 MCCH或 BCCH, 以 index的方式指示这些导致 MBMS业务发送状 态变化的原因, 并将其发送给 UE。 本领域技术人员应当理解, 当存在更多 的中断原因时, 釆用更长的 index指示位即可表示。
网络侧为 UE正在接收的 MBMS业务配置 2bit的 index来指示其发送 状态变化的通知项, 即釆用 {00} , {01 } , {11 } , {10}四个索引来指示 UE正 在接收的 MBMS业务发送状态变化的原因。 可以釆用预先约定 index指示 位与 MBMS业务发送状态变化原因对应关系的方式, 也可以釆用在网络侧 第一次向 UE发送 MBMS业务发送状态变化的原因时, 向 UE发送 index 指示位与所述 MBMS 业务发送状态变化原因通知项之间的对应关系的信 息, 或者也可以周期性地向 UE广播这些对应关系的信息。 例如, 可以釆用 如下方式: {00}表示由于 UE正在接收的 MBMS业务的优先级较低, 在网 络侧资源紧张时, 该业务的发送资源被优先级较高的业务抢占, 该业务被 停止发送; {11 }表示 UE正在接收的 MBMS业务的有效区域发生了变化, 而 UE当前不在该 MBMS业务变化后的有效区域内; {10}表示网络侧需要 临时向 UE发送广告信息或其他通知信息; {01 }表示由于要在当前正在发送 的 MBMS业务的资源上发送其他应急信息或紧急新闻等, 将当前正在发送 的 MBMS业务停止发送或间隔一段时间后再次发送。 有效区域发生变化的 原因可能是运营商进行了 MBSFN区域的重新配置,也可能是由于业务发生 了变化, 其发送区域相应的也发生了变化。 网络侧在原本属于该 MBMS业 务有效区域, 变化后不属于该业务有效区域的范围内发送业务有效区域发 生变化的信息。 釆用 index 发送形式, 对于不同原因造成的正在发送的 MBMS业务发送状态的变化, 发送不同的 index指示位即可。 也可以针对 多个正在发送的 MBMS业务发送状态变化, 通过一个业务发送状态变化列 表来发送。
MBMS业务发送状态变化的通知信息可以承载于 MCCH或 BCCH上 而发送给 UE。 具体的, 可以在 MCCH上通过新的 RRC消息, 或者在原有 RRC消息中增加新的 IE将所述 MBMS业务发送状态变化的通知信息发送 给 UE。 也可以将所述 MBMS业务发送状态变化的通知信息承载于 BCCH 上, 通过广播信息发送给正在接收该状态变化的 MBMS业务的 UE。 这里, MCCH是指 UE接收 MBMS业务所在 MBSFN区域对应的 MCCH。可以对 每个 MBMS业务设置一个通知信息, 也可以针对所述 MCCH上的所有正 在发送的 MBMS 业务, 维持一个业务发送状态变化通知列表, 用来通知 UE在该 MCCH上的所有 MBMS业务的发送状态变化的通知项。 对于多个 MBSFN重叠的情况, 分别在其各自的 MCCH上发送其自身的业务发送状 态变化通知列表。 类似的, 在 BCCH发送时, 也可以釆用分别发送单个 MBMS业务发送状态变化通知项或者发送多个 MBMS业务发送状态变化通 知歹' J表。
正在接收所述 MBMS业务的 UE,接收到所述 MBMS业务发送状态变 化的通知信息后, 读取 MCCH或 BCCH上发送的 MBMS业务发送状态变 化通知或 MBMS业务发送状态变化通知列表中的业务发送变化通知, 并解 析自身正在接收的 MBMS业务的发送状态变化通知项, 解析所述通知项并 向 UE用户显示, 告知 UE用户 MBMS业务中断的原因。
当网络侧临时需要向 UE发送广告或其他紧急通知时, 通过 MCCH或 BCCH向 UE发送业务发送状态变化通知项 {10}。 UE收到该通知项后 , 解 读该信息, 发现对应于 "网络侧临时插播广告或发送通知, MBMS业务短 时间停止", 则通知用户 "请稍等, 精彩节目即将继续" 等类似信息; 当网 络侧需要占用当前正在发送的 MBMS业务的资源发送紧急新闻或其他类似 信息,将当前业务停止发送或过一段时间重新发送,则通过 MCCH或 BCCH 向 UE发送 {01 } , UE接收到该通知项后, 向用户显示相应信息, 提示用户 过一段时间后重新尝试接收该业务; 当由于网路资源紧张, 正在发送的 MBMS业务被其他高优先级业务抢占时, 向 UE发送 {00} , UE向用户提示 网络侧资源紧张, 该 MBMS业务被停止, 请通过单播或其他方式接入。 当 然 , 还可以向 UE发送其他相应信息 , 如插播广告的时间、 MBMS业务重 新发送的时间、 该 MBMS业务对应的单播业务的信息等。 UE用户根据该 提示信息, 选择等待一段时间继续接收业务, 还是转向单播继续接收该 MBMS业务等。
具体的, 网络侧发送 MBMS业务发送状态变化的原因, 可以发送一段 时间, 也可以周期性的一直发送, 直到该业务的正常结束时间为止。 例如, 当釆用 MCCH承载该消息时, 可以发送一个或多个 MP。
相比于用户正在接收的业务的无理由终止, 本发明的上述方法通知了 用户业务终止原因, 使得用户可以根据具体原因选择不同的操作。 当然, 也可以在 UE接收到所述业务发送状态通知信息后,根据用户或 UE预设策 略, 如 "业务长时间停止, 则切换单播继续接入"、 "业务短暂停止, 则等 待一会儿继续接收"、 "停止接收该业务" 等, 保持了用户业务接收的连续 性, 提示了用户体验。
本实施例通过 index的形式, 将正在发送的 MBMS业务的发送状态变 化通知通过 RRC信令或者新的 IE发送给 UE, 然后 UE提示用户业务发送 状态变化原因, 使得用户可以根据 UE提示选择相应的下一步操作。
实施例四
本示例中, 网络侧釆用非信令的方式将正在发送的 MBMS业务发送状 态变化的通知信息发送给 UE。 为说明上的便宜, 在本实施例中以临时插播 广告和 MBMS业务有效发送区域变化来讨论所述 MBMS业务发送状态变 化通知的方法, 对于其他原因, 其处理方式类似。
当正在发送的 MBMS 业务发送状态变化后, 网络侧 (具体的网元如 eNB )可以向上层发送指示, 由上层釆用非信令的方式, 向注册了该 MBMS 业务的 UE发送业务发送状态变化指示。 上层可以通过 SMS、 MMS或其他 非接入层技术向所述注册 UE发送该业务发送状态变化指示, UE在接收到 该指示后, 向用户显示相关信息, 用户可以根据相关信息选择不同的操作。 如:
当网络侧需要临时插播一个 30s的广告, 则通过 MMS向 UE发送一个 指示 "请稍等, 精彩节目 30s后继续开始", 并进行倒计时处理。 用户看到 该指示后, 可以选择等待 30s后再继续接收该 MBMS业务。 当网络侧 Counting该 MBMS业务的接收状态后,发现正在接收该业务 或对该业务感兴趣的 UE数目很少,釆用 MBSFN方式发送业务对资源的利 用率较低, 决定挂起(或去激活)该业务。 于是, 网络侧通过 MMS向 UE 发送一个业务被挂起(或去激活) 的指示, 提示通过单播可以继续接收该 业务, 并将单播业务的相关信息发送给 UE。 用户可以根据相应提示, 通过 单播继续接收该业务。
当然, 网络侧也可以釆用其他类似的非信令方式, 向 UE发送 MBMS 业务发送状态变化通知, 使得用户了解正在接收的 MBMS业务发送状态变 化的原因, 从而使得用户可以根据具体原因选择具体的操作方式。
本实施例通过非信令的方式, 将网络侧停止发送 MBMS业务的原因通 知该业务的注册用户, 使得用户可以根据不同的 MBMS业务中断原因, 选 择不同的下一步操作。
图 2为本发明多媒体广播组播业务发送状态变化的通知装置的一种组 成结构示意图, 如图 2 所示, 本发明多媒体广播组播业务发送状态变化的 通知装置包括通知单元 20, 用于通过 AS 或非信令通知 UE 当前发送的 MBMS业务发送状态变化的通知信息。

6、 根据权利要求 5所述的方法, 其特征在于, 利用 RRC信令或广播 信息将 bitmap或 index指示位与各 MBMS业务发送状态变化的通知信息的 对应关系通知 UE。
7、 根据权利要求 1至 4任一项所述的方法, 其特征在于, 所述 UE为 具有 MBMS能力的、 正在接收所述 MBMS业务的 UE;
对于通过非信令方式通知 UE的情况,所述 UE为具有 MBMS能力的、 正在接收所述 MBMS业务的 UE以及注册了 MBMS业务的 UE。
8、 根据权利要求 1至 4任一项所述的方法, 其特征在于, 所述 MBMS 业务发送状态变化为, 由于网络侧的原因导致的当前 MBMS业务长期或临 时中止发送;所述 MBMS业务发送状态变化的通知信息为,导致当前 MBMS 业务发送状态变化的原因。
9、 一种多媒体广播组播业务发送状态变化的通知装置, 其特征在于, 所述装置包括:
通知单元, 用于通过 AS或非信令通知 UE当前发送的 MBMS业务发 送状态变化的通知信息。
10、 根据权利要求 9所述的装置, 其特征在于, 所述通知单元进一步 用于, 将 MBMS业务发送状态变化的通知信息承载于 MCCH中通知 UE; 或者, 所述通知单元进一步用于, 将 MBMS业务发送状态变化的通知 信息承载于 BCCH中通知 UE。
11、 根据权利要求 10所述的装置, 其特征在于, 所述通知单元进一步 用于, 将 MBMS业务发送状态变化的通知信息承载于 RRC信令或 IE中发 送给 UE;
或者, 所述通知单元进一步用于, 将 MBMS业务发送状态变化的通知 信息承载于广播信息中发送给 UE。
12、 根据权利要求 9所述的装置, 其特征在于, 所述通知单元进一步 用于,通过 SMS或 MMS向 UE发送 MBMS业务发送状态变化的通知信息, 或者, 所述通知单元进一步用于, 基于 HTTP或 FTP向 UE发送 MBMS业 务发送状态变化的通知信息。
13、 根据权利要求 9至 12任一项所述的装置, 其特征在于, 所述装置 还包括:
设置单元, 用于设置 bitmap或 index指示位与各 MBMS业务发送状态 变化的通知信息分别对应;
所述通知单元进一步用于, 将 bitmap或 index指示位与各 MBMS业务 发送状态变化的通知信息的对应关系通知 UE;
所述通知单元通知 UE当前发送的 MBMS业务发送状态变化的通知信 息, 为: 将当前的 MBMS业务发送状态变化的通知信息对应的 bitmap或 index指示位通知 UE。
14、 根据权利要求 13所述的装置, 其特征在于, 所述通知单元进一步 用于, 利用 RRC信令或广播信息将 bitmap或 index指示位与各 MBMS业 务发送状态变化的通知信息的对应关系通知 UE。
15、 根据权利要求 9至 12任一项所述的装置, 其特征在于, 所述 UE 为具有 MBMS能力的、 正在接收所述 MBMS业务的 UE;
对于通过非信令方式通知 UE的情况,所述 UE为具有 MBMS能力的、 正在接收所述 MBMS业务的 UE以及注册了 MBMS业务的 UE;
所述 MBMS 业务发送状态变化为, 由于网络侧的原因导致的当前 MBMS业务长期或临时中止发送;所述 MBMS业务发送状态变化的通知信 息为, 导致当前 MBMS业务发送状态变化的原因。
