Abstract

본 발명은 보조커패시터를 통해 인가되는 구동전압에 의해 센서패턴에서의 전압변동을 검출하여 터치신호를 검출하는 새로운 방식의 정전식 터치 검출수단, 검출방법 및 터치스크린패널과, 그러한 정전식 터치스크린패널을 내장한 표시장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 정전식 터치 검출수단은, 터치입력도구와의 사이에서 터치정전용량(Ct)을 형성하는 센서패턴(10); 상기 센서패턴(10)에 일측이 연결되고 타측으로는 터치 검출을 위한 구동전압이 인가되는 보조커패시터(Caux); 상기 터치정전용량(Ct) 및 보조커패시터(Caux)에 프리차지신호를 공급하는 충전수단(12); 및 상기 센서패턴(10)에 연결되며, 상기 터치입력도구의 터치 유무에 따라 상기 보조커패시터(Caux)에 상기 터치정전용량(Ct)이 부가될 때 상기 센서패턴(10)에서의 전압변동을 검출하여 터치신호를 검출하는 터치검출부(14);를 포함하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 노이즈, 커플링 현상이나 기타 요인에 의해 생성되는 기생정전용량 등에 의한 영향이 최소화하고 터치신호를 안정적으로 획득할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
