Abstract
Se divulgan métodos, sistemas y aparatos para medir un potencial eléctrico en la tierra que incluyen un primer sensor. El primer sensor incluye una placa de detección para su colocación en un entorno en cercana proximidad a la tierra. La placa de detección tiene un acoplamiento capacitivo operativo con la tierra y mide el potencial eléctrico de la tierra. El sensor también incluye una barrera que proporciona segregación electroquímica entre la placa de detección y la tierra y un amplificador que tiene al menos una etapa para recibir y amplificar una primera señal que transporta el potencial medido por la placa de detección. El sensor también incluye una primera conexión que transporta la primera señal de la placa de detección al amplificador; y un voltaje de referencia para su aplicación a la primera etapa del amplificador, el voltaje de referencia proporcionando una referencia contra la cual el potencial medido por la placa de detección es comparado.
