Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système permettant d'utiliser de manière optimale la chaleur produite dans un système thermique à bord d'une unité marine, ce système thermique comprenant une ou plusieurs unités de génération de chaleur (11, 13, 21, 23) et une ou plusieurs unités de consommation de chaleur (12), un système de conduites (23, 24, 26) et vannes leur étant associé pour permettre la circulation de fluide thermique entre ces différentes unités, cette ou ces unités de génération de chaleur (11, 13, 21, 23) comprenant au moins un élément de chauffage (11) alimenté en combustible; au moins une unité de refroidissement de fluide thermique (21) sélectionnée dans le groupe comprenant un système de refroidissement sur un ou plusieurs moteurs (20), un économiseur sur échappement (22) associé à la ou aux ligne(s) d'évacuation du ou des moteurs (20) et/ou incinérateur(s) (13), la chaleur provenant des systèmes de refroidissement des unités de génération de chaleur (11, 13, 21, 23) étant récupérée et utilisée pour fournir de la chaleur aux consommateurs de chaleur (12). Le système thermique est configuré de manière que la chaleur récupérée des générateurs à récupération thermique (11, 13, 21, 23) soit utilisée en premier et que la chaleur provenant de brûleurs de combustible traditionnels (11) soit utilisée uniquement si la chaleur provenant de générateurs à récupération de chaleur (11, 13, 21, 23) ne suffit pas pour le but souhaité.
