In this case, the client 11 can receive the T / SS distribution from the T / SS server 14 simply by requesting the ACR server 13 to identify the content.
- the identification result of the ACR server 13 is uniquely distributed to the client 11 has been described, but other than that, for example, the identification is again performed according to the identification result by the ACR server 13. Processing may be executed. For example, when the recognition rate is low as a result of the identification processing performed by the ACR server 13 and the cause is a problem with the amount of sample data transmitted from the client 11 or the frequency of sampling.
- the ACR server 13 may extract new sample data from the client 11 again and prompt retransmission.
- the ACR server 13 side can specify information regarding the sample data extraction region and sampling frequency and instruct the client 11 to extract the sample data again. For example, as the extraction region, which region on the video is to be extracted is specified, and as the sampling frequency, a sampling period is specified.
- Information indicating the recognition rate such as the identification probability and the accuracy level may be transmitted to the client 11. For example, a percentage value is used as the identification probability, and an accuracy result of 1-10 steps or a high, middle, and low level is used as the accuracy level.
- the client 11 presents the result to the user based on information indicating the recognition rate, and determines whether to acquire a related application, for example, depending on the recognition accuracy. You may do it. In this case, for example, if the recognition accuracy is low and the user determines not to acquire the application, the application is not distributed.
- the T / SS distribution request is made only once.
- this distribution request may be made many times during the reproduction of the content in the client 11.
- T / SS distributed by the T / SS server 14 since it is normally distributed synchronously with a certain content stream, it corresponds according to the T / SS distribution request from the client 11. Only the T / SS to be distributed is distributed, but multiple T / SSs after the relative playback time may be distributed collectively. That is, for example, when content that has already been distributed once is temporarily stored in a certain terminal, uploaded to a so-called content sharing site, and viewed on the client 11, T / The SS is delivered to the client 11 at once. Similarly, when the content is downloaded and distributed in the client 11, the T / SS related to the entire content is delivered to the client 11 at the same time when the stored content is reproduced. You may be made to do.
- T / SS has been described as an example of management information for managing applications related to content.
- the information is not limited to T / SS. It can also be applied to AIT (Application Information Table) for controlling In short, information other than T / SS may be used as long as it is information related to application control.
- AIT Application Information Table
