Abstract
The claimed invention is intended for capturing finely divided and aerosol liquid and solid particles from a gas stream. What is achieved is: a reduction in the quantity of gas passing inside the separation stack in the lower part thereof. This reduces the effect of liquid reentrainment and, as a result, increases separation quality. The vertical separation stack is in the form of a truncated cone, the diameter of the lower base of which is smaller than the diameter of the upper base, and comprises inclined curved separation plates (1) that are arranged in the generatrix of the surface of said cone and are fastened at the top to an annular upper cover (3) with an outlet opening (4). The separation plates (1) are arranged relative to one another with a partial overlap and form slot-shaped channels in the area of overlap. Moreover, the slot-shaped channels are formed so as to narrow in size towards the lower part of the separation stack.

The prior art.
A large number of vertical separation packages are known, consisting of overlapping curved plates forming slotted channels in the overlapping zone and fixed to the top and bottom to the covers. These separation bags are known, for example, from the patent descriptions NQ2221625 (IPC BOID 45/12, 2004 [1]), N92244584 (IPC B01D 45/12, 2005 [2]), N92287357 (IPC B01D 45/12, 2006 [3]), NQ2304455 (IPC B01D 45/12, 2007 [4]), and descriptions of patents for utility models N ° 52574 (IPC B01D 45/12, 2006 [5]), NQ55301 (IPC B01D 45/02, 2006 [6]).
Also known is a vertical separation bag (RF patent NQ 2356601 for an invention, IPC B01D 45/16, 2009 [7]) containing vertical curved separation plates located in its forming surface, mounted on top of the top cover, placed relative to each other with partial overlap and forming in the overlap zone identical, constant in size slit channels, while in the area of slotted channels in the separation plates, through holes are made that are opposite to each other in adjacent separation plates.
The disadvantages of these separation packages [1-7] is their cylindrical shape and the constant size of the slotted channels. When using a separation package, it is placed in a vertical cylindrical housing above the bottom and a vortex gas-liquid flow is formed around the separation package. Under the action of centrifugal forces, up to 90% of the liquid and small impurities released from the gas-liquid flow are discarded to the walls of the housing. Under the influence of gravitational forces, these liquids and small impurities move in a downward spiral, and their number in the space between the separation bag and the walls of the housing increases towards the bottom of the separation bag. Moreover, the amount of liquid and small impurities in the lower part of the separation bag can be so large that they fill everything the space between the housing and the separation bag, and penetrate into the separation bag. The upward gas flow inside the separation bag carries away such liquid and small impurities. This secondary entrainment degrades the separation quality and reduces the efficiency of the separation bag.
Partially indicated disadvantages are eliminated in the known inner ring separation element (RF patent NQ 58380 for utility model, IPC B01D 45/12, 2006 [8]) containing profiled plates located along the surface of a vertical truncated cone (with a lower base down) with an angle of inclination of up to seven degrees and fixed between the top cover and the horizontal partition, while the plates overlap, forming nozzle channels for gas inlet.
The disadvantage of this analogue [8] is the constant size of the slotted channels in the overlapping zone of the separation plates along the height of the separation package. When using the bag, as described for the previously mentioned analogues, the amount of liquid and small impurities in the space between the separation bag and the walls of the housing increases to the bottom of the separation bag. This increase leads to the fact that the likelihood of trapping liquid and small impurities in the lower part of the package is increased. The constancy of the size of the slotted channels along the height of the separation package leads to the fact that the distribution of the volume of gas passing into the separation package is uniform along the height of the separation package. The above leads to the fact that most of the gas with the re-entrained liquid separation penetrates into the package in the lower part thereof. This affects the quality of the separation and reduces the effectiveness of the separation package.
The specified inner annular separation element [8] is the set of essential features the closest device of the same purpose to the claimed invention. Therefore, it is adopted as a prototype of the claimed vertical separation package.
Disclosure of the invention.
The technical result provided by the claimed invention is to reduce the amount of gas passing into the separation package in its lower part. This results in a decrease in the effect of secondary entrainment of the liquid, and, as a result, an increase in the quality of separation.
The invention consists in that the separation bag is vertical, made in the form of a truncated cone with a diameter of the lower base less than the diameter of the upper base, and contains inclined curved separation plates located in its forming surface, mounted on top of the annular upper cover with an outlet. The separation plates are placed relative to each other with partial overlap and form slotted channels in the overlap zone. In this case, the slotted channels are made tapering in size to the lower part of the separation package.
It is advisable in the area of slotted channels in the separation plates to make through holes. Moreover, in adjacent separation plates forming one slotted channel, these holes must be located opposite each other.
It is possible to make the holes of the separation plates rectangular with a long side placed vertically. It is permissible to have two holes in the upper part of the plates and two in the lower. It is possible to arrange two holes in the upper part of the plates, two in the middle part and two in the lower part. The implementation of the structural elements of the claimed invention is not limited to the above examples.
When using a vertical separation package, it is placed above the bottom in a vertical cylindrical body in which a vertical vortex gas-liquid flow is formed.
Due to the fact that the separation bag is made in the form of a truncated cone, the diameter of the lower base of which is less than the diameter of the upper base, the liquid and small impurities penetrate into the separation package in a much smaller amount than when using a separation package of a cylindrical shape. This effect is enhanced by the fact that in the lower part of the separation package, the size of the slotted channels (2) between the separation plates (1) is smaller than in the upper part. The above leads to a decrease in the effect of secondary entrainment of the liquid by the upward flow of gas inside the separation stream.
Due to the pressure difference in the center of the vortex stream and on its periphery, particles of gas, liquid and small impurities fall on the outer surface of the separation plates (1), and are transported by the gas stream through the slotted channels (2), on their inner surface.
The use of inclined curved separation plates (1) allows a liquid film moving along the rotation of the gas stream to be transported from the end of one plate (1) to the beginning of another due to inertia forces. Transporting from plate to plate, the liquid, having reached the lower edge of the separation plates (1), slides from them and is diverted downward from the separation package.
The purified gas flows up to the outlet (4) of the separation bag.
Thus, from the foregoing, it follows that in the claimed vertical separation package, the claimed technical result: “reducing the amount of gas passing into the separation package in its lower part” is achieved due to the vertical separation package made in the form of a truncated cone with a diameter of the lower base smaller than the diameter of the upper base, and contains inclined curved separation plates located in its forming surface, mounted on top of the annular upper cover with an outlet o miles. The separation plates are placed relative to each other with partial overlap and form slotted channels in the overlap zone. In this case, the slotted channels are made tapering in size to the bottom of the separation package.
Industrial applicability.
