Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for producing a component, at least partially equipped with a cover material, in particular an interior trim part of a vehicle.
- the invention has for its object to provide a method for producing a component to be equipped with a reference material, with the help of the excessive deflation of the foam at the back of the cover material is always reliably avoided during the back-foaming.
- Covering material equipped component in particular an interior trim part of a vehicle provided in which the cover material is inserted into a shape of a mold such that the back of the cover material is accessible, at least partially an activatable bonding agent is applied to the back or to the surface of a flexible surface structure to be brought into contact with the back of the cover material, and the flexible surface structure is positioned on the back side of the cover material, and then the foam-backed back side of the cover material is backfoamed activates the connecting means by means of the physical state variables which occur during the foaming and the back side of the cover material and the surface of the surface structure are at least partially connected to one another.
- the foam introduced into the mold for backfoaming can be prevented from passing through possible pores of the cover material or through
- cover material of the manufactured equipment part at least partially has a fixed connection to the flexible surface structure and a displacement of the cover material is avoided relative to the component, finds an activatable during the foaming connection means application.
- connection means is applied either to regions of the rear side of the cover material and / or to regions of the flexible surface structure to be brought into contact with the cover material.
- the activation of the bonding agent is effected in particular by the physical state variables that occur during the foaming process within the molding or foaming tool, such as, for example, the foam pressure acting on the inside or back of the flexible surface structure.
- the liquid foam is in particular in at least one at least one region of the back of the cover material associated pressure chamber entered.
- the pressure chamber is formed by parts of at least one second shape of the molding tool and surface areas of the cover, which frequently rests on the lower mold and is equipped with the surface structure.
- the flexible surface structure may be formed such that it extends over the entire back of the cover material or even only parts of the cover material are equipped with the flexible, foam-impermeable surface structure.
- a film layer is preferably used as a flexible surface structure, such as a thermoplastic polyolefin film, which can be advantageous simply, for example by the process of deep drawing, bring in the required shape.
- a film layer as a flexible surface structure, an advantageous protection of the cover material can be ensured, since the film layer is particularly impermeable to the liquid foam introduced into the pressure chamber of the foaming tool during the foaming process. This always ensures that the foam entered directly with the back of the cover material of optionally joined together from several pieces of material cover comes into contact.
- a surface structure is used with a visible side, wherein the surface structure is applied with its visible side on the back of the cover material such that the surface structure protrudes on at least one edge of the cover material and backfoamed the cover material with the overlying surface structure and the protruding surface areas of the surface structure become.
- surface structures which have a visible side such as surface films with a grained and often painted visible side
- equipment parts can be produced with partial leather surfaces.
- the covering covering the fitting can in particular be arranged only in the directly visible regions of the fitting with the leather-like covering material. The remaining surface of the equipment part is then formed by the visible side of the surface structure, which thus always has larger dimensions than the cover material.
- the surface structure formed as a surface film can, of course, survive on all edges of the leather-like covering material.
- surface films for example TPO films or films made of polypropylene are used, the visible side is coated for reasons of scratch sensitivity with at least one lacquer layer.
- a bonding agent can be applied for an advantageous connection with the introduced on the back of foam. The connection between the visible side of the surface film and the back of the cover material is ensured with the activatable connection means.
- the cover material when inserting the cover material in the shape of the edge, on which the surface structure protrudes, angled towards the back of the cover material.
- This results in the production of the equipment part an advantageous uniform transition from the cover material to the immediately adjacent surface areas of the projecting surface structure, which optionally form directly on the Umlegekante the immediately further surface of the equipment part. Irregularities due to the often double-layered and sewn material edge of the cover material are thereby avoided.
- the edge of the cover material is made approximately at right angles to the inside and the superimposed surface film together form a protruding into the interior of the component, multi-layer web.
- the visible side of the angled edge and the visible side of the overlying portion of the surface structure can be superimposed directly and possibly interconnected in the contact area.
- edge of the cover material and the immediately adjoining the edge, protruding surface area of the surface structure are placed over a molding contour of the particular lower mold, by means of which a projecting into the interior of the mold paragraph is formed.
- Paragraph and laying it over the surface structure is achieved a simplified positioning of the cover material and the surface material to be fixed with the cover material.
- the surface structure covers in particular completely with its visible side from the back of the cover material, wherein before stacking on the back of the
- the flexible sheet structure before it is preformed or after it has been preformed, subjected to a surface treatment, whereby the surface properties of the flexible surface structure can be selectively changed.
- a surface treatment whereby the surface properties of the flexible surface structure can be selectively changed.
- the surface treatment or surface activation takes place, for example, by means of a plasma or corona treatment in each case correspondingly treated side of the preferably formed as a protective film flexible surface structure.
- an adhesive which reacts to predetermined temperatures is used as activatable connecting means.
- Such an adhesive such as a thermal resin, can advantageously be easily applied to the back of the cover material or to the previously preformed flexible piece of material.
- the bonding agent has in particular the property that it first loses its adhesive properties after application and thus is no longer sticky on the surface.
- the activation temperature of the adhesive is generally below the melting temperature of the film material used, for example, to form the flexible surface structure.
- the activation temperature is in a range between 40 and 60 "Celsius, preferably around 50" Celsius, which advantageously corresponds to the temperature range that is achieved during lathering of the liquid foam into the foaming mold. Due to the processing temperature of the entered foam, the applied adhesive liquefies again. At the same time a corresponding force is exerted on the flexible surface structure by the increase in volume of the foam and the resulting foam pressure, so that automatically a connection between the surface structure and the back of the cover material of the produced cover is produced.
- both the covering material and the surface structure positioned on its rear side are fixed immediately after insertion in the form of the molding tool by means of a reduced pressure.
- both the covering material and the surface structure are each directly defined by the reduced pressure on the upper side of the mold.
- Under pressure preferably acts from the top or visible side of the cover on the cover material and the surface structure arranged behind it.
- all layers are always firmly held within the molding tool and thus can not slip therein. This can be curved, for example
- the fitting itself can be produced by means of the liquid foam introduced into the foaming tool.
- the method according to the invention can be further simplified in an advantageous manner, since no carrier part, which has to be produced separately beforehand and inserted into the foaming tool, is required for the production of the component.
- the component to be produced is consequently produced completely in the foaming tool, whereby an independent production of the prefabricated part of the entire component, including the equipment is given to the reference.
- the cover material is connected to a separate prefabricated support member.
- the use of a prefabricated carrier part has the advantage that the required foaming tool can advantageously have reduced dimensions.
- an item of equipment for a vehicle, in particular a seat, with at least one at least a part of its surface forming reference for which self-protection is requested is according to the invention produced by a process according to any one of claims 1 to 11.
- the cover of a piece of equipment produced in accordance with the invention always has an advantageously pleasing appearance and an optimal feel, even as aging proceeds, since the foam material no longer comes into direct contact with the back of the cover material.
- the pieces of equipment can furthermore be produced in an advantageously simple manner.
- the surface of the equipment part preferably has at least one surface section made of a cover material and a surface section, in particular of a surface film, wherein the adjoining surface sections are separated from one another by a depression in the surface.
- the formation of a recess or a groove on the surface of the equipment part has the advantage that the edge, in particular of the cover material advantageously inward direction of the back of the
- Covering material can be transferred. This is an advantageous compliant transition between the different materials that form the surface of the equipment, achieved. Especially in the case of a leather-like cover material, its edge, which is often formed in two layers and additionally sewn, can be laid almost invisibly into the interior of the component.
