Abstract

The invention relates to a light-emitting diode bulb including a light source, a tubular mounting (2) housing an electronic unit for controlling the light source, and a radiator (5) that is concentric to the tubular mounting, said bulb being characterized in that a highly heat-conductive skirt (9) is concentrically mounted onto the radiator and is in contact with the radiator so as to form a supplementary heat sink, and said skirt has channels (10A and 10B) for circulating air.
