Abstract
본 발명은 중공의 출력축에 장착된 변속출력싱크로기어를 이용하여 변속을 수행할 수 있는 기계식 자동 변속기에 관한 것이다. 또한, 본 발명은 엔진의 회전수 및 회전축에 걸리는 토크 크기의 감지와 운전 상태에 따른 변속을 완전히 기계적인 방식으로 자동 제어할 수 있는 기계식 자동 변속기에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 기계식 변속기는, 하우징에 회전 가능하게 고정된 중공의 출력축과, 입력축에 장착된 복수의 변속입력기어와, 복수의 변속입력기어 각각으로부터 회전력을 각각 전달받도록 연결되고 출력축에 회전가능하게 장착된 복수의 변속출력싱크로기어와, 출력축의 중공의 내부에 축방향으로 이동이 가능하고 출력축과 함께 회전되도록 설치되고 축방향의 양단에 형성된 테이퍼 경사면을 구비한 변속스풀과, 각각의 변속출력싱크로기어가 장착된 출력축에 설치된 복수의 싱크로클러치수단을 포함한다. 또한, 기계적인 방식으로 회전수의 변화와 토크의 변화를 검출하는 회전수검출수단과 토크검출수단을 구비하고, 변위결합 자동제어수단을 이용하여 변속을 기계적인 방식으로 자동 제어한다. 따라서, 전자적인 변속 제어장치의 결함에 의한 급발진과 같은 사고를 방지하고, 에너지 효율을 높일 수 있다.
