Definitions
- the present invention has application in the field of risk sports and more specifically in the skating or sliding with table on snowy surfaces called snowboards, and refers to fixing devices that allow the rotation of the boot of the user with respect to the board.
- the object of the invention allows the original position of the boots to be released with respect to the board, which for the user means placing the knees in a comfortable position when not going down the snowy slope, sitting on a ski lift or when undertakes crossings in plane, among others, thus avoiding twisting efforts on the knees and therefore possible injuries.
- the user adopts this position of advance in numerous occasions because not at all times the user is sliding on the snowy surface mounted on the table, since it has to move to the chairlifts and lifts, and in many cases to walk and make trips in plane because it has run out of inertia to slide or because it has to move slowly in waiting queues to ride on these means of transport, so it is forced to release one foot of the board in order to be able to walk.
- This position is also unavoidable when the user is mounted on said chairlifts, so that it always invades the space of the adjacent seat causing unavoidable shocks with the table with other users' equipment.
- the user has no other options than to force the joints of the leg, especially the knee, until adopting a position of the table similar to the position of a ski, that is, with the position of the longitudinal axis of the table parallel to the direction of advance of the individual, and not perpendicular, so as to avoid this problem that is described above.
- the present invention relates to a fixation device for snowboards that overcomes the aforementioned drawbacks, since it allows the user to perform a rotation movement of the boot while the user is mounted on the board and without the need to remove or remove the boot.
- the foot of the boot or the boot of the fixation by means of a movement that consists of pulling an external tensioner or shooter located in the boot toe out, slide the foot forward to release the boot from its anchoring position, and perform the desired rotation movement by a non-discontinuous movement.
- the fixing device proposed by the invention comprising a base plate that can be attached to the table and a support plate that can be attached to the boot, where said base plate allows a relative anchoring position of the base. the support plate relative to the base plate by a longitudinal movement effected by the support plate through the movement of the user's leg; and wherein said support plate can also lose said anchoring position with respect to the base plate to allow a relative free position of the support plate, the support plate thus being able to effect the relative rotation movement with respect to the base plate.
- the boot will be free with respect to any fixed position of the board, so that there will no longer be the torque caused by the moment produced due to the weight of the board and external forces as mentioned in the situations previously described, since now the fixing device is articulated by releasing the restriction.
- the device proposed by the invention constitutes an advance in the fixations hitherto used, and resolves in a fully satisfactory manner the aforementioned problems, in the line of allowing to reduce knee injuries, which it is made of simple way, with the consequent reduction in costs for the user and assuming lower risks by the method used, all through a simple and integrated design, which requires only a slight pull of the shooter for activation.

- the fixing device proposed by the invention comprises a base plate (4) that can be attached to the table and a support plate (2) that can joining a boot, wherein said base plate (4) allows a relative anchoring position of the support plate (2) with respect to the base plate (4) by a longitudinal movement effected by the support plate (2) through the user; and wherein said support plate (2) can also lose said anchoring position with respect to the base plate (4) to allow a relative free position of the support plate (2), the support plate (2) being able to make a movement of relative rotation with respect to the base plate (4), as shown in figures 12 to 15, where said base plate (4) has two curved sections to allow the displacement of the support plate (2) by means of the rotation movement when the support plate (2) is not anchored.
- the guiding part (5) preferably has the shape of a heel, as shown in figure 2, which has a curved section to allow the rotation of the support plate (2) to which it is screwed, another possible embodiment the one having said heel counter attached to the support plate (2) incorporated all in the same piece, together with the anchoring part (6) preferably in the shape of a toe cap, which also has curved sections, as shown in figures 2, 9, 10 and 11, to allow rotation displacement of the support plate (2), as shown in figures 12 to 15.
- the base plate (4) has in one of its sections the lower guide rail (18), as shown in figures 4, 5 and 6, which guides the guide part (5) through the upper guide rail (16) that it has said guide piece (5), allowing the longitudinal movement of the guide piece (5) on the base plate (4) to establish the anchoring position of the fixation, as shown in figures 12 and 13.
- Said guide piece (5) also has a tongue (8) that prevents snow from entering, located on the outer side of a section of the perimeter of said guide piece (5), as shown in figure 2.
- the anchor piece (6) in the form of a toe has two anchoring grooves (9), which in turn have two cavities for the housing and travel of two retaining elements which are preferably two special pins with guides coupled, which compress two springs to the extent that the user pulls out by means of the handle (22) preferably performed as a metal tensioner, as shown in Figures 9, 10 and 11, to allow the free position of the device.
- the anchoring grooves are located in the outer section of the base plate (4), as shown in figures 4 and 5, whose function is to guide and house the anchoring teeth (7), as shown in the figures of FIG. at 1 1, which serve to keep the boot anchored, more specifically the support plate, to the base plate (4) during the anchoring position.
- Both the support plate (2) and the base plate (4) are provided with two rails (19) and two channels (10) respectively, which fit together to guide and limit the displacement of the support plate (2), performing a limited travel with respect to the base plate (4) by a movement delimiter (21) that acts as a stop to define the end of the path and that is included in one end of the base plate (4) as can be seen in the Figures 4 and 5
- the shape of both the rails (19) and the channels (10) is defined by the trajectory of the relative displacement of the support plate (2) and the base plate (4) respectively and extend along the surface of said plates, and they also have a fitting section (11) preferably made with a straight shape located at the ends to keep the boot static in its anchorage position, as can be seen in figures 4 and 5 of the base plate ( 4) and in figures 12 to 15 that show the relative positions of the plates and remain fixed to each other by the mentioned sections of socket (11).
- This fixing device also contains an anchor disk (3) fixed by screws and which links and holds the base plate (4) to the table and which has a threaded cavity located on a female projection (12) by which it is coupled the support plate (2) through a first oval recess (14) through, as shown in Figure 2, and whereby said female protrusion (12) is attached to a threaded male projection (17) belonging to a cover (1) ), as shown in Figure 3, where said lid (1) is placed on a second oval recess (15) of the support plate (2) through which the lid (1) attached to the anchor disc slides (3) when disengaging from the base plate (4), as shown in figures 12 and 13.
- the base plate (4) also comprises a plurality of support studs (20) prevent friction of the base plate with the board.
- the support plate (2) is provided with a cushion foam (13) located in places such as the side structures and the surface where the boot rests, so that the impacts received by the boot due to the slack that exists between the boot and the fixation are cushioned favorably avoiding all kinds of vibrations produced by irregularities of the surface, etc.
