Abstract
Description
一般に、ガントリー形状が水平磁場方式のトンネル型のMRI装置の場合は、被検体が挿入される空間の大きさが狭いため、被検体に閉塞感を抱かせる課題がある。この課題を軽減するために、ガントリーの前面に開口する被検体が挿入される撮影開口部の入口近傍は、柔らかな丸み形状で形成されている。典型的なガントリーの入口近傍の形状は、円形の撮影開口部の入口部分に円錐状の凹部を形成し、前方に張り出したガントリーの前面の外周面と、トンネル状の撮影開口部とを円錐状の凹部を介して緩やかに連続させる形態をとっている。
当該内パネルと外パネルは必ずしも別体として構成される必要は無く、一体的に形成されていても良い。
ガントリー100の前部を構成するフロントパネル110は、図3に示すように、外周パネル120と連結する外パネル111と、この外パネル111の内側を構成する内パネル112とで構成している。なお、バックパネル130はフロントパネル110と同様につき説明を省略する。
なお、本実施例においては、開口入口部103周囲を凹み形状で形成しているが、当該凹みは必ずしも開口部全周に渡って配置されていなくても良い。当該開口部の下方または左右が凹んでいることで、検査者のアクセスが容易となり、また解放感を創出することが可能であるためである。この際、開口部の上部にレーザー等の光源や表示装置等を配置しても良いことは云うまでも無い。
ベッド部200は、四隅に自在車輪202を備えたベース筺体203と、スライド可能な天板201を備えた天板ベース部204と、この天板ベース部204とベース筺体203とを連結する蛇腹状の昇降機構205とを含んで構成されている。図5に示すように、この実施例では、ベース筺体203の上方に天板ベース部204を対峙させ、その間に設けた昇降機構205を長手方向の片側に偏って設けている。これにより、長手方向の他方の端部は、中間部が開放され、その上方の天板ベース部204と、下方のベース筺体203が他方側に張り出した形態となる。
先ず、図8において、ベッド部200のベース筺体203の一端には、自在車輪202を支持する車輪支持部208がベース筺体203の短手方向の両側に張り出して形成されている。つまり、この実施例では、ベース筺体203の四方に車輪支持部208が張り出して形成され、この車輪支持部208で支持される自在車輪202により、安定した移動を図ることができる。
ベッド部は実施例1において説明したベッド部200を搭載することが可能であり、ベッド部200とMRI装置本体500との(図示しない)接続形態は実施例1と同様である。また、実施例1同様、ドッカブルテーブルに限らず、固定型ベッドを採用できることは云うまでも無い。
具体的には、上記構成のガントリー部500にベッド部を連結或いは固定した場合、図6に示したように、天板を支持する天板ベース部の先端部の幅を天板と同じ幅かそれ以下にしておくことにより、連結部近傍の作業空間は、フロントパネル521の凹部により広がると共に天板ベース部の幅が狭められたことによってさらに広がるので、操作者の作業性が向上する。また、図5に示したように、ベッド部の昇降機構を連結部と反対側の端部にずらして配置することにより、操作者の下肢の可動空間として、天板ベース部とベース筺体との間の空間と、フロントパネル531の凹部によってもたらされる空間とが与えられるので、下肢の動きの自由度が増す。
Claims (10)
- 静磁場空間を形成するための静磁場発生源を含むガントリーと、被検体を載置してこの被検体を前記静磁場空間に挿入するための天板を有するベッド部とを備えた磁気共鳴イメージング装置において、
前記ガントリーは、前記静磁場空間の開口部を備えたフロントパネルを含み、
前記フロントパネルの開口部近傍はその少なくとも一部が凹形状に形成されていることを特徴とする磁気共鳴イメージング装置。 - 請求項1記載の磁気共鳴イメージング装置において、
前記フロントパネルは、前記開口部の上部から両側を経て接地面に至るアーチ型の外パネルと、このアーチ型の外パネルの内側に設けられる内パネルとを含んで構成し、
前記外パネルと前記内パネルの連結部は、前方に張り出したトップ面を構成し、
前記内パネルは、凹曲面を備え、前記トップ面から前記開口部に至る凹形状で形成されることを特徴とする磁気共鳴イメージング装置。 - 請求項1記載の磁気共鳴イメージング装置において、
前記ベッド部は、その上部にスライド移動可能な天板を備えた天板ベース部を備え、
この天板ベース部は、前記ガントリーと連結する端部の横幅を前記天板の横幅と同じかそれ以下に形成していることを特徴とする磁気共鳴イメージング装置。 - 請求項2記載の磁気共鳴イメージング装置において、
前記ベッド部は、移動車輪を備えたベース筺体を備えるものであり、
当該ベッド部を前記ガントリーに対し着脱可能にする連結部を備え、
前記連結部は、前記トップ面から後方に後退した前記内パネルの下端部の中央に設けられるガントリー側連結部と、前記ベッド部の長手方向の一端側に設けられるベッド側連結部とで構成され、
前記ベッド側連結部は、前記ベース筺体の長手方向端部に設けられていることを特徴とする磁気共鳴イメージング装置。 - 請求項4記載の磁気共鳴イメージング装置において、
前記移動車輪は、前記ベース筺体の短手方向の両側に張り出して設けられ、
前記ベッド部を前記ガントリー部に連結したときに、前記ガントリー側連結部の両側に位置することを特徴とする磁気共鳴イメージング装置。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の磁気共鳴イメージング装置において、
前記ベッド部は、ベース筺体と、このベース筺体の上に設けられ、スライド移動可能な天板を備えた天板ベースと、この天板ベースを昇降可能に支持する昇降機構とを備え、
前記フロントパネルは、前記開口部の下端部から下方に延びる凹部が形成され、
前記昇降機構は、前記凹部に沿って天板ベースを昇降させることを特徴とする磁気共鳴イメージング装置。 - 請求項6に記載の磁気共鳴イメージング装置において、
前記ベッド部の昇降機構は、前記ベッド部の長手方向の、前記ガントリーから遠い側に偏って配置され、前記ガントリーに近い側の、前記天板ベースと前記ベース筺体との間に空間が形成されていることを特徴とする磁気共鳴イメージング装置。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の磁気共鳴イメージング装置において、
前記静磁場空間の開口部は、水平なトンネル状であることを特徴とする磁気共鳴イメージング装置。 - 請求項1に記載の磁気共鳴イメージング装置において、
前記静磁場発生源は、間隔をおいて対向配置された一対の磁石装置からなり、前記静磁場空間の開口部は、前記一対の磁石装置に挟まれた空間に形成されていることを特徴とする磁気共鳴イメージング装置。 - 請求項9に記載の磁気共鳴イメージング装置において、
前記ガントリーは、上部のフロントパネルと下部のフロントパネルとを有し、
前記上部のフロントパネル及び下部のフロントパネルは、それぞれ、開口入口近傍において凹部を形成するパネル部分を有することを特徴とする磁気共鳴イメージング装置。
