Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a seed-carrying device, which has been specially designed so that germination of said seeds and the first stage of plant development in its definitive place of implantation takes place within it.
  • the object of the invention is that the germination and development of the plant takes place in the same forest lands where the definitive development is going to take place, under conditions in which the seed is perfectly protected against environmental agents adverse and in a properly fertilized substrate according to the characteristics of the tree plant in question.
  • the invention is therefore located in the field of forestry industry, and more specifically within the industry dedicated to the germination and development of forest seeds.
  • the seedling is extracted with the root ball of the tray and the planting is carried out directly in the soil, which was previously subjected to a tillage technique that determines a technician, depending on the type of tree variety to plant and soil characteristics, geographical, climate, etc. which allows the integration of the seedling in the soil.
  • the tree seed holder that the invention proposes comes to fill this technical vacuum offering all the advantages that have just been cited as desirable, as well as others that will be evidenced throughout the present description, among which improvements in the undergrowth can be noted , such as the orography of the soil and the biotope, with a better fixation of the plant to the soil and allowing the safe transport of the seeds over great distances.
  • the seed holder is materialized in a receptacle of appropriate configuration and dimensions, preferably prismatic, based on organic, mineral and plastic derivatives, with structural characteristics that give it sufficient mechanical resistance, open superiorly, which houses inside the substrate, fertilizers, water, organic elements such as spores or phytosanitary products, and of course the seeds in question, as well as an upper and empty space for the development of the plant.
  • the aforementioned receptacle has an outer laminar envelope, of organic or inorganic origin.
  • said seed is prepared so that it can be transported from the planting place to the cultivation land, germinating the seed in the receptacle once it has been placed in the forest land where it is going to definitely develop the tree.
  • Seed protection begins at the time of planting in the receptacle and ends with the emergence of the seedling in the cultivation land, protecting the seed receptacle from adverse situations that could arise from temperature, humidity, light, pests, diseases, handling shocks and seed movements.
  • the receptacle is designed so that it can be manipulated without risking the loss of the physical-chemical properties of the structure, being able to be manipulated on pallets or manually without any deterioration due to the architecture of the receptacle that allows it to adapt to the characteristics ground.
  • the physical configuration is similar to a polygon that can have the same or unequal sides, depending on its size, according to the variety of the plant, soil and climate where it is going to develop.
  • the structure has sufficient resistance to withstand the manipulations of the technique used in the handling of the receptacle and the attack of the predators that we want to avoid.
  • composition of the structure is mineral, organic and inorganic fibers, fertilizers and plastic derivatives, which leads to physical and chemical properties in terms of physical resistance, plasticity, water accumulation, water drainage, conductivity of substrates and liquids, nutrient retention, controlled transformation of the components of the substrate mixture, controlled degradation of the structure depending on the varieties, soils and climate.
