Abstract

La présente invention concerne un cathéter permettant de prélever de façon fiable un échantillon d'un fluide corporel cible, ledit cathéter (1) comprenant : un corps de cathéter tubulaire (2) pourvu d'un orifice d'aspiration (2a) à son extrémité principale ; et un moyen de détection (3) situé à l'intérieur du corps (2) du cathéter, près du côté formant l'extrémité de base de l'orifice d'aspiration (2a), afin de détecter le fluide corporel cible. Selon la présente invention, si le fluide corporel aspiré contient le fluide corporel cible, le moyen de détection (3) détecte rapidement ce dernier après le début de l'aspiration ; ledit fluide corporel cible détecté traverse alors tel quel le corps de cathéter (2) pour être prélevé.
