Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé pour produire un tissu non-tissé stratifié à élasticité unidirectionnelle, présentant un aspect extérieur uniforme. Le procédé selon l'invention consiste à préparer un filet élastique qui est non élastique dans le sens machine et élastique dans le sens travers. Ce filet élastique comprend des filaments verticaux non élastiques et des filaments horizontaux élastiques disposés selon un motif de treillis. On obtient une feuille stratifiée (v. fig. 3) par application d'une nappe de fibres continues formée par dépôt de fibres de polyester étirées continues dans le sens machine sur une face du filet élastique. Une nappe de fibres discontinues est appliquée sur les deux faces de la feuille stratifiée, ladite nappe de fibres discontinues étant formée de fibres de coton et de fibres polyester discontinues qui sont mélangées, broyées et intégrées. On obtient un tissu non-tissé stratifié à élasticité unidirectionnelle par application d'un flux de fluide haute pression depuis le côté de la nappe de fibres discontinues, entremêlage des fibres coton avec les fibres de polyester discontinues, et entremêlage des fibres de coton et des fibres de polyester discontinues avec le filet élastique.
