本实用新型由于在铁线外面设置材料为铜、 铝的镀层, 在不影响电线的导电效率的前提 下, 如果镀层的厚度是电线总直径的 5%〜12. 5%, 则可节省约 70%左右的铜或铝, 由于铜价是 铁价的十几倍, 铝价是铁价的 9倍, 电线总成本可大幅下降, 产生可观经济效益, 也有利于 节约资源和环境保护。 由于铜、 铝等金属材料的熔点低于铁线, 因而可以轻易地镀在铁线的 外表面, 工艺简单, 易于实现。 同时由于铁线的强度较高, 因而可提高电线整体的强度, 延 长电线的使用寿命。
含锰的铁线可使拉力更强, 而铁线为铁磁物质, 对电线表面自由电子的逃逸有所钳制, 附图说明

具体实施方式
下面结合附图对本实用新型进行说明。
如图 1、 图 2所示, 本实用新型在粗细不等的铁线 1表面设置有镀层 2, 镀层 2为铜或 铝, 铁线 1的材料为纯铁, 或含锰或含硅的铁线, 所述镀层可以是电镀或镏形成的。 其中镀 层 2的厚度是电线总直径的 5%〜12.5%, 镀层 2的厚度可优选为电线总直径的 7.5%〜10%。 并可根据需要在镀层 2之外, 可根据需要设置保护层, 保护层可为烤漆或塑料薄膜等。
当交变电流通过本实用新型的电线时, 交流电在电线内部产生 "趋肤效应", 使得愈近 电线表面电流密度越大。 电压越高, 电流密度越大, "趋肤效应"越显著。 当电压很高的电流 通过导线时, 电流只在导线很薄的表面环层流过, 导线的中心部分几乎没有电流通过, 因而 可以把这中心部分用铁线 1代替, 并不影响电线的导电效率。
虽然趋肤效应对直流电的作用不如对交流电的作用强, 但电线中铁线 1也是导体, 且铁 线 1的导电率低于铜或铝, 在电线中电子会本能地选择导电率高的通道流动, 所以本实用新 型的电线也可应用于直流电路中。
