Abstract
The present invention relates to a valve head for an extinguisher, characterized in that said valve head includes: a valve body comprising a central channel for receiving a stem and a side channel forming a channel for discharging an extinguishing agent; a control lever connected to the valve body by means of journals; and a safety cam mounted removably and slidably on top of the valve body so as to cover the control lever completely. The cam is formed as a single piece and a front surface thereof is provided with a seal integrally formed with said piece. In addition, the safety cam includes an upper wall provided, at the center thereof, with a slip ramp on the lower surface of said upper wall, said slip ramp allowing the lever to pivot when the safety cam is pulled.
