Abstract
L'invention concerne le domaine du dépistage de l'artériopathie oblitérante. Plus précisément, l'invention concerne un outil de dépistage (2, 102) comportant: un corps de compression (20,120) apte à coopérer avec une portion à comprimer (10a) d'un membre (10) du patient; des moyens de compression (30, 130) aptes à comprimer cette surface de contact (24, 124) contre cette portion à comprimer (10a) du membre (10) du patient; des moyens de mesure (40, 140) aptes, d'une part, à coopérer structurellement et fonctionnellement avec une portion à examiner (10b) du membre (10) du patient et,d'autre part, à générer, par détection optique d'un ou plusieurs constituant(s) du sang, un signal de mesure caractéristique d'une pulsation artérielle dans la portion à examiner (10b) du membre (10) du patient au cours d'une phase de mesure. L'invention se caractérise essentiellement par le fait que les moyens de compression(20, 120)sont aptes à générer sur ladite portion à comprimer (10a) une pression de mesure sensiblement égale à une valeur seuil de pression durant toute la phase de mesure; et que l'outil de dépistage(2, 102) comporte également des moyens de calcul (60, 160) aptes, à partir du signal de mesure, à émettre un signal de diagnostic négatif lorsque la pulsation artérielle dans la portion à examiner est supérieure à une valeur seuil de diagnostic et à émettre un signal de diagnostic positif lorsque cette pulsation artérielle est inférieure à cette valeur seuil de diagnostic et des moyens d'expression (70, 170) aptes à exprimer une information de diagnostic négatif à réception du signal de diagnostic négatif provenant des moyens de calcul (60, 160).
