Abstract

본 발명은 제1기판, 제2기판 및 상기 제1기판 및 제2기판 사이에 개재되는 양의 유전율 이방성을 갖는 액정을 포함하며, 셀 갭이 1 내지 5㎛이고, ECB 모드에서 구동되는 액정셀을 포함하는 액정 패널; 상기 제1기판의 상부에 위치하며 제1흡수축을 갖는 제1편광소자; 상기 제2기판의 하부에 위치하며, 제2흡수축을 갖는 제2편광소자; 상기 제1기판과 상기 제1편광소자 사이에 개재되는 제1액정필름; 및 상기 제2기판과 상기 제2편광소자 사이에 개재되는 제2액정필름을 포함하며, 상기 제1액정 필름은 제1기재; 및 상기 제1기재의 일면에 네마틱 액정이 면상 방향에서 두께 방향으로 최대 경사각이 20° 내지 90°이 되도록 스플레이 배향되어 이루어지는 제1액정층을 포함하며, 상기 제2액정 필름은 제2기재; 및 상기 제2기재의 일면에 네마틱 액정이 수평 배향되어 이루어지는 제2액정층을 포함하는 ECB-LCD 장치에 관한 것이다.
