- window regulators For parts used in vehicles, weight reduction is required for reasons such as improved fuel efficiency, and weight reduction is also required for window regulators.
- As a light weight type of window regulator there is no outer casing from the upper and lower ends of the guide rail to the drive unit near the center as a delta type (the motor is near the center of the guide rail).
- Patent Document 1 discloses an anti-theft protector for a window regulator (hereinafter referred to as a protector) that covers the outer periphery of the control cable as a means for preventing such entry into the vehicle.
- This protector includes a metal wire braid layer that covers at least a part of the outer peripheral surface of the outer casing, and a rubber-made outer layer that covers the outer periphery of the metal wire braid layer.
- the outerless window regulator is defenseless against both the blade and the clipper because the inner cable is not covered by the outer casing.
- the inner cable is housed inside the outer casing, it may not be useful for the clipper as described above, but the merit is that it takes time to cut the inner cable than it is not covered at all. is there.
- the weight of the entire apparatus and the number of parts increase.
- the restraining force reaction of the tension of the inner cable
- Force ie compression force
- the inner cable swings in the width direction of the drum when it is wound and fed out to the drum, and comes into contact with the drum-side end of the outer casing.
- the outer casing is required to have rigidity to withstand the compressive force and contact, and the weight increases accordingly.
- a cushion mechanism using a spring that can absorb the compressive force is used at the end of the outer casing. For this reason, when the window regulator of Patent Document 1 is used, the inner cable cannot be easily cut even if a blade or clipper is used, but the number of parts and weight increase.

- the inner cable is linearly routed from the drum to the direction changing member, the outer tube is not subjected to the restraining force by the motor. Therefore, it is not necessary to hold the outer tube firmly on the drum side or the guide rail side. That is, since simple holding is sufficient, the holding portion can be reduced in weight or space can be saved. Furthermore, since simple holding is sufficient, if the outer tube is held by the outer holder and the end of the outer tube on the drum side is not fixed (movable freely), the inner cable generated by winding and feeding by the drum The outer tube can be swung following the swing.
- the straight wiring includes a substantially straight wiring and includes a slightly bent state in the outer holder when the inner cable moves in the width direction of the drum.
- the position of the drive device is determined. can do.

- the outer bracket 10 is a strip-shaped member.
- the outer bracket 10 has an attachment piece 10a that is an attachment portion to the guide rail 2, and a support that is bent perpendicularly from the front end to the vehicle outer side and that extends in parallel to the attachment piece 10a from the bent front end. It consists of a piece 10b.
- a locking hole 10c is formed near the tip of the support piece 10b.
- the outer holder 8 has an attachment piece 10a attached below the direction changing member 5a of the guide rail 2 with the support piece 10b extending obliquely upward (see FIG. 1).
- the attachment piece 10a of the outer holder 8 can be attached to a member on the vehicle body side (for example, an inner panel or an outer panel).
- the clip 11 is provided at a plate-like base portion 11a, a protruding portion 11b that protrudes from the surface of the base portion 11a and fits into the locking hole 10c of the support piece 10b, and a distal end of the base portion 11a. And a gripping portion 11c that grips the outer periphery of the elastically.
- the protruding portion 11b may be configured as a shaft member that can rotate within the locking hole 10c.
- the grip portion 11c is a substantially cylindrical member in which a plate is molded into a cylindrical shape. A gap having a width the same as or slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the outer tube 9 is formed at the tip of the cylindrical plate. Then, the outer tube 9 is pushed in from the gap while the cylindrically shaped plate is opened, and the outer tube 9 is held inside the tubular shape by the repulsive force caused by the pushing. Further, as shown in FIG. 5, the clip 11 has a grip portion 11c sandwiched between a casing cap 12 and a stopper 13 fixed to the outer tube 9 by a fixing means such as adhesion or caulking. 9 is held near the end.

- the clip 11 is preferably formed of a polyamide resin such as polyoxymethylene (POM) or nylon, or a synthetic resin such as polybutylene terephthalate (PBT).
- POM polyoxymethylene
- PBT polybutylene terephthalate
- the support piece 10b is extended obliquely upward so that the clip 11 at the tip is arranged in a region (reference S in FIG. 6) on the back side (inside of the vehicle) of the carrier plate 3 at the rising end.
- the clip 11 is formed of a flexible material, it can bend following a free end shake (an arrow in FIG. 6) of the outer tube 9 to be described later, and bend by swinging as a base point of the shake.
- the outer tube 9 can be securely held, and the force applied to the outer tube by winding and feeding the inner cable 6 of the drum 4C can be reduced. Furthermore, if the protruding portion 11b of the clip 11 can rotate within the locking hole 10c, even if an unexpected load is applied to the clip 11 via the outer tube 9, the load can be released in the rotating direction. . Therefore, it is possible to prevent the outer tube 9 from falling off the grip portion 11c due to an unexpected load, or to prevent the clip 11 itself from being damaged.
- the strip-shaped support piece 10b may be bent in a direction perpendicular to the plate surface to follow the deflection of the outer tube 9.
- the outer tube 9 is a member that covers the periphery of the rising inner cable 6 and covers the inner cable, and is not particularly limited as long as it is lighter than the outer casing including the metal wire braiding layer. It is possible to use a rigid tube such as a metal pipe, or a tube made of sticky rubber or other material that cannot be easily torn so that cutting is troublesome. It is preferable to use a synthetic resin tube because it is easily available. For example, it is preferably formed of a material such as polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), or polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
- PP polypropylene
- PE polyethylene
- PVC polyvinyl chloride
- the outer tube 9 is preferably flexible so that the lower end (drum 4 c side) of the outer tube 9 can easily swing together with the rising inner cable 6. Note that if the outer tube 9 is highly flexible, it may become a source of vibration. Therefore, the outer tube 9 and the clip 11 (and the outer bracket 10) may be bent so as to follow the deflection of the rising inner cable 6.
- the outer tube 9 does not cover the outer periphery of the inner cable 6 for ascending immediately above the upper direction changing member 5a.
- the outer tube 9 covers the outer periphery from a position where some space (reference S) is provided from below the upper direction change member 5a (see FIGS. 1 and 6). This is because the lower end of the closed window glass W is disposed in the space S, so that the cutting tool cannot enter without being covered with the outer tube 9.
- the opposite end is housed in the protective wall 4f of the drum cover 4 (see FIG. 7). Therefore, the drum cover 4 does not have a gap that allows the cutting tool to contact the rising inner cable 6 from the upper end of the guide rail 2 to the drum 4c from the vicinity of the drum 4c until the inner cable 6 contacts the drum 4c.
- FIG. 6 shows an arrow A in FIG.
- the carrier plate 3 is shown by a solid line at the upper limit
- the carrier plate 3 at the original position in FIG. 1 is shown by a two-dot chain line.
- the upper end of the outer tube 9 is held by a holder 8.
- the other end is not held and is left free.
- the rising inner cable 6 is wound / sent out to / from the drum 4c
- the rising inner cable 6 swings in the width direction of the drum 4c (see arrow).
- the outer tube 9 is free except at the upper end, it can bend or swing following the deflection of the inner cable 9.
- the rising inner cable 6 does not come into contact with the end of the outer tube 9 on the drum 4c side and is not damaged (see FIG. 7). Moreover, if the upper end of the outer tube 9 is fixed with the holder 8, the outer tube 9 can shake largely at the lower end.

Abstract
Description
(1) Since the window regulator of the present invention has an outer tube, it has excellent anti-theft properties. In particular, it has better anti-theft properties than conventional outerless window regulators.
Further, since the inner cable is linearly routed from the drum to the direction changing member, the outer tube is not subjected to the restraining force by the motor.
The straight wiring includes a substantially straight wiring and includes a slightly bent state in the outer holder when the inner cable moves in the width direction of the drum.
(4) Furthermore, the inner cable is protected from the vicinity of the drum by a drum cover that covers the drum so that the inner cable is protected to the vicinity of the drum by the outer tube, and the inner cable can be wound and fed by the drum. When protecting the inner cable until it comes into contact with the drum, even if the outer tube is arranged at a distance from the drum, the inner cable near the drum can be efficiently cut and the outer tube can be protected. And the drum will not collide.
The
