- the entire content may be displayed in the active window.
- the system control unit 30 opens a new window, closes an existing window, moves, or resizes the window.
- the system control unit 30 sets “non-display” in the content display state information of the opened browser window.
- the system control unit 30 transmits a Web page request to a Web server such as the information providing server 1, and sets the Web page received from the Web server as a target of the Web browser. To be displayed in the window.
- FIG. 7 is a flowchart showing a processing example in the system control unit 30 of the user terminal 2 according to the present embodiment. The process shown in FIG. 7 is executed each time a specific event is notified to the Web browser while the Web browser is activated.
- the system control unit 30 acquires the type of the specific event and the window identifier of the window in which the specific event has occurred (step S11).
- the system control unit 30 generates a new window management table (step S12).
- This new window management table is referred to as “new window management table”, and the window management table generated at the time of the previous specific event notification is referred to as “old window management table”.
- the window management table generated when the web browser is activated is used as the old window management table.
- the system control unit 30 acquires the window identifier of each window, the identification information of the application program, the window position information, and the client area position information, and sets these information in the new window management table (step S13).
- the system control unit 30 acquires the display priority order of each window (step S14). Specifically, the system control unit 30 acquires the type and window identifier of the specific event acquired in step S11, the window identifier of each window set in the new window management table, and the window set in the old window management table. Based on the window identifier and the display priority, the display priority of each window at the current time is determined. Next, the system control unit 30 sets the display priority of each window in the new window management table.
- the system control unit 30 specifies one browser window based on the identification information of the application program set in the new window management table (step S15).
- the system control unit 30 executes a specific browser window process described later (step S16).
- the specific browser window process when the specified browser window is partially hidden, the visible region matching content is displayed in the browser window.
- step S17 determines whether all browser windows have been specified. At this time, if there is an unspecified browser window (step S17: NO), the system control unit 30 specifies the next browser window (step S18) and executes the specified browser window process (step S18). S16). On the other hand, when all the windows of the Web browser are specified (step S17: YES), the system control unit 30 deletes the old window management table from the RAM 29 (step S19), and ends the process shown in FIG. .
- FIG. 8 is a flowchart showing a specific browser window process example in the system control unit 30 of the user terminal 2 according to the present embodiment.
- the system control unit 30 determines whether or not the display button displayed in the specified browser window is selected based on the type of the specific event and the window identifier acquired in step S11 (step S31).
- a display button is displayed in the browser window, visible region compatible content is displayed in the client region of the browser window.
- the system control unit 30 activates the browser window in which the display button is displayed by executing the window manager. Therefore, when the display button is selected (step S31: YES), the system control unit 30 displays the visible region compatible content as it is even after the specified browser window is activated (step S32). Further, the system control unit 30 deletes the display button. Further, the system control unit 30 sets “display” in the new window management table as the content display state information of the specified browser window. Then, the system control unit 30 ends the specific browser window process.
- step S31 when the display button displayed in the identified browser window is not selected (step S31: NO), the system control unit 30 determines whether or not the identified browser window is activated (step S31).
- step S33 At this time, when the specified browser window is activated (step S33: YES), the system control unit 30 determines whether or not visible region compatible content is displayed in the client region of the specified browser window. (Step S34). Specifically, the system control unit 30 acquires content display state information of the specified browser window from the old window management table. Then, when the acquired content display state information is “display”, the system control unit 30 determines that the visible region compatible content is displayed in the client region of the identified browser window (step S34: YES). .
- the system control unit 30 restores the display contents of the specified browser window in the client area to the display contents before the display of the visible area compatible content (step S35).
- a browsing history function of a Web browser may be used.
- the system control unit 30 deletes the display button.
- the system control unit 30 sets “non-display” in the new window management table as the content display state information of the specified browser window. Then, the system control unit 30 ends the specific browser window process.
- the acquired content display state information is “non-display”
- the system control unit 30 determines that no visible region compatible content is displayed in the client region of the specified browser window (step S34: NO).
- the system control unit 30 sets “non-display” in the new window management table as the content display state information of the specified browser window, and ends the specific browser window process.
- step S33 when the specified browser window is not activated (step S33: NO), the system control unit 30 hides a part of the client area of the specified browser window by another window as a determination unit. It is determined whether or not (step S36). Specifically, the system control unit 30 acquires the display priority order of the specified browser window from the new window management table. Next, the system control unit 30 extracts a window having a display priority higher than the display priority of the specified browser window based on the display priority of each window set in the new window management table. Next, the system control unit 30 determines whether the client area of the specified browser window overlaps with another window based on the extracted window position information and the client window position information of the specified browser window.
- the system control unit 30 determines that the client area of the specified browser window is completely included in the area of the other window, or the client area of the specified browser window completely overlaps the area of the other window. If not, it is determined that the client area of the specified browser window is not partially hidden (step S36: NO). In this case, the system control unit 30 acquires content display state information of the specified browser window from the old window management table. Next, the system control unit 30 sets the acquired content display state information in the new window management table as the current content display state information of the specified browser window. Then, the system control unit 30 ends the specific browser window process.
- the system control unit 30 determines that a part of the client area of the specified browser window is hidden (step S36). : YES). In this case, the system control unit 30 specifies the visible region by acquiring position information of a range not hidden among the client regions of the specified browser window as the specifying unit (step S37). Then, the system control unit 30 sets the acquired position information of the visible region in the new window management table.
- the system control unit 30 determines whether or not visible region compatible content is displayed in the client region of the identified browser window (step S38). A specific determination method is the same as that in step S34.
- the system control unit 30 newly sets “non-display” as the content display state information of the specified browser window. Set in the window management table. Then, the system control unit 30 proceeds to step S40.
- step S38 when the visible region compatible content is displayed in the client region of the specified browser window (step S38: YES), the system control unit 30 sets “display” as the content display state information of the specified browser window. Set in the new window management table.
- step S39 the system control unit 30 determines whether there is a change in the position information of the visible region (step S39). Specifically, the system control unit 30 acquires the position information of the visible area from the new window management table and the old window management table, and compares the acquired position information with each other. Then, when there is no change in the position information of the visible region (step S39: NO), the system control unit 30 ends the specific browser window process. On the other hand, when there is a change in the position information of the visible region (step S39: YES), the system control unit 30 proceeds to step S40.
- step S40 the system control unit 30 determines whether a web page is displayed in the current active window. At this time, if the web page is not displayed in the current active window (step S40: NO), the system control unit 30 transmits a content request to the information providing server 1 (step S41). At this time, the system control unit 30 sets the size of the client area and the position information of the visible area of the specified browser window in the content request.
- step S40 when the web page is displayed in the current active window (step S40: YES), the system control unit 30 acquires the URL of the web page displayed in the active window (step S42). A content request is transmitted to the information providing server 1 (step S43). At this time, the system control unit 30 sets the size of the client area of the specified browser window, the position information of the visible area, and the acquired URL in the content request.
- the system control unit 30 After transmitting the content request in step S41 or S43, the system control unit 30 receives a response from the information providing server 1 as an acquisition unit (step S44). Then, the system control unit 30 determines whether or not visible region compatible content is set in the received response (step S45). At this time, if the visible region compatible content is not set in the received response (step S45: NO), the system control unit 30 ends the specific browser window process.
- the system control unit 30 uses the browser that has identified the visible region compatible content set in the response as the display unit. It is displayed in the client area of the window (step S46). Specifically, the system control unit 30 develops a bitmap image indicating the display image of the visible region compatible content in the RAM 29. Next, the system control unit 30 converts the bitmap image so that the number of vertical and horizontal pixels of the bitmap image matches the number of vertical and horizontal pixels of the client area. As a result, the display size of the content matches the size of the client area. Next, the system control unit 30 copies the converted bitmap image to a screen output buffer in the client area in the RAM 29.
- the system control unit 30 outputs a bitmap image within the visible region among the bitmap images copied to the buffer to the display unit 22.
- the characteristic portion of the visible region compatible content is displayed on the screen.
- the system control unit 30 sets “display” in the new window management table as the content display state information of the specified browser window.
- the system control unit 30 displays a display button in the specific browser window. Then, the system control unit 30 ends the specific browser window process.
- FIG. 9 is a flowchart illustrating a processing example of processing in the system control unit 17 of the information providing server 1 according to the present embodiment. The process shown in FIG. 9 is executed when the information providing server 1 receives a content request from the user terminal 2.
- the system control unit 17 specifies one content from the content registered in the content DB 121 (step S51), and acquires information on the specified content from the content DB 121.
- the system control unit 17 determines whether or not the size of the client area is within an allowable range for the resize of the specified content (step S52).
- hc and wc be the number of vertical pixels and the number of horizontal pixels indicated by the size of the client area set in the content request received as the receiving means.
- the lower limit value and upper limit value of the number of vertical pixels and the lower limit value and upper limit value of the number of horizontal pixels indicated by the resize allowable range information of the specified content are h1 and h2, and w1 and w2.
- step S52 determines that the size of the client area is within an allowable range of the resize of the specified content. In this case, the system control unit 17 proceeds to step S53. On the other hand, when the system control unit 17 determines that the size of the client area is not within the allowable range of the resize of the specified content (step S52: NO), the system control unit 17 proceeds to step S57.
- step S53 the system control unit 17 converts the coordinates of each vertex that identifies the feature portion indicated by the feature information of the identified content in accordance with the size of the client area.
- the system control unit 17 determines whether or not the feature portion after coordinate conversion is located in the visible region (step S54). Specifically, the system control unit 17 includes the range of the feature portion after the coordinate conversion in the visible region based on the position information of the visible region set in the content request and the feature information after the coordinate conversion. It is determined whether or not. At this time, if the range of the feature portion is not included in the visible region, the system control unit 17 determines that the feature portion after coordinate conversion is not located in the visible region (step S54: NO). . In this case, the system control unit 17 proceeds to step S57.
- the system control unit 17 determines that the feature portion after the coordinate conversion is located in the visible region (step S54: YES). In this case, the system control unit 17 adds the identified content to the primary candidate group as one of the visible region matching content candidates as a selection unit (step S55). Next, the system control unit 17 calculates the display area of the characteristic part after coordinate conversion (step S56), and proceeds to step S57.
- step S57 the system control unit 17 determines whether all the contents registered in the content DB 121 have been specified. At this time, if there is unspecified content (step S57: NO), the system control unit 17 specifies the next content from the content registered in the content DB 121 (step S58), and specifies the specified content. Is acquired from the content DB 121. Then, the system control unit 17 proceeds to step S52.
- step S57 when all the contents registered in the content DB 121 are specified (step S57: YES), the system control unit 17 determines whether one or more contents are extracted as the primary candidate group (step S59). ). At this time, if no content is extracted (step S59: NO), the system control unit 17 transmits a response not including the content to the user terminal 2 that has transmitted the content request (step S59). S60). Then, the system control unit 17 ends the process shown in FIG.
- step S59 when one or more contents are extracted as the primary candidate group (step S59: YES), the system control unit 17 determines whether the URL of the Web page is set in the content request (step S61). ). At this time, if the URL of the Web page is not set in the content request (step S61: NO), the system control unit 17 sets the primary candidate group as the final candidate group of the visible region compatible content (step S62). .
