Abstract
La invención se refiere a un gen aislado de Serratia odoriferaque codifica una proteína o polipéptido con actividad fitasa, a un método para su obtención en una célula huésped de levaduratal como, por ejemplo Pichia pastoris, y a la utilización de la enzima como ingrediente activo en la fabricación de aditivos para piensos destinados a la nutrición animaly/o para la liberación de fosfato de materia orgánica procedente del suelo.
