Abstract

본 발명은 등받이의 아래 부분이 개방된 휠체어 사용자가 이용할 수 있는 화장실에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 화장실에는, 측면에서 보았을 때 휠체어의 시트 높이에 대응하는 위치에서 화장실 벽면으로부터 외팔보 형태로 돌출되어, 휠체어 등받이의 개방된 부분으로 삽입되어 휠체어의 시트 위에 위치할 수 있는 변기가 설치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 장애인 등 휠체어 사용자가 휠체어로부터 벗어나지 않은 상태에서 배변이 가능하고, 일반적인 장애인용 화장실보다 작은 공간으로 화장실을 구성할 수 있다.
