- component carrier component carrier
- Mobile terminal apparatus having a system band of 20 MHz (base band).
- HetNet a heterogeneous network
- the HetNet is a hierarchical network in which various types of cells such as a pico cell C1 and a femto cell (small cell) are overlaid in addition to the conventional macro cell C2 (large cell).
- the base station apparatus B2 of the macro cell C2 that covers a relatively large area has a larger downlink transmission power than the base station apparatus B1 of the pico cell C1 that covers a relatively narrow area.
- the radio frame from the base station apparatus B1 of the pico cell C1 is the radio frame from the base station apparatus B2 of the macro cell C2.
- the coverage of the pico cell C1 is narrowed due to the large interference from the macro cell C2.
- the downlink control channel (PDCCH: Physical Downlink Control Channel) arranged at the beginning of the subframe is not basically retransmitted unlike the downlink data channel (PDSCH: Physical Downlink Shared Channel). It had a great influence.
- the broadcast channel (PBCH: Physical Broadcast Channel) and the cell search synchronization signal (PSS: Primary Synchronization Signal, SSS: Secondary Synchronization Signal) indicated by B in the subframe are basically not retransmitted.
- PBCH Physical Broadcast Channel
- PSS Primary Synchronization Signal
- SSS Secondary Synchronization Signal
- the MBSFN subframe is a subframe that is specified in the LTE system and can make a blank section (blank period) other than the control channel.
- the radio frames of the macro cell C2 and the pico cell C1 are subframe shifted in the time axis direction, thereby eliminating the downlink control channel overlap.
- a blank period is partially provided in the radio frame of the macro cell C2 by the MBSFN subframe, and interference of the downlink control channel, broadcast channel, and synchronization signal in the subframe surrounded by the broken line of the picocell C1 is suppressed.
- the coverage of the downlink control channel, broadcast channel, and synchronization signal of the pico cell C1 is ensured. Further, the downlink data channel of the subframe surrounded by the broken line of the pico cell C1 is also expected to improve the data rate because the interference is reduced by the blank period of the radio frame of the macro cell C2.
- the present inventors have come up with the present invention in order to solve this problem. That is, the gist of the present invention is that the pico cell base station apparatus allocates user data to subframes while avoiding the resources that receive interference from the macro cell, and the macro cell base station apparatus has resources that interfere with the control channel of the pico cell. Is to assign user data to subframes.
- FIG. 5 is an explanatory diagram showing an example of a transmission control process in the pico cell base station apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention.
- the downlink radio frame of the macro cell C2 is composed of 10 subframes of subframes # 0 to # 9, and a control channel (PDCCH) is multiplexed on the OFDM symbol on the head side of each subframe. ing. Further, the downlink radio frame of the macro cell C2 has the MBSFN subframe described above, and a blank period is provided in addition to the control channels of subframes other than the subframes # 0, # 4, # 5, and # 9. Broadcast channels (PBCH) and cell search synchronization signals (PSS, SSS) are multiplexed in subframes # 0 and # 5.
- PBCH Broadcast channels
- PSS, SSS cell search synchronization signals
- the downlink radio frame of the pico cell C1 has the same radio frame configuration as the downlink radio frame of the macro cell C2, but no blank period is provided in the subframe. Also, the downlink radio frame of the pico cell C1 is subframe shifted relative to the radio frame of the macro cell C2 in the time axis direction. Thereby, some control channels, broadcast channels, synchronization signals, etc. in the downlink radio frame of the pico cell C1 are matched with the blank period of the downlink radio frame of the macro cell C2, and interference from the macro cell C2 is suppressed. In the downlink radio frame of the pico cell C1, a subframe in which interference such as a control channel is suppressed is used.
- the blank period of the downlink radio frame of the macro cell C2 is set except for the downlink control channel.
- the subframe of pico cell C1 is shifted in the time axis direction with respect to the MBSFN subframe of macro cell C2. For this reason, in the subframe of the picocell C1, the data channel is partially interfered even if the interference of the control channel is suppressed by the blank period of the MBSFN subframe of the macrocell C2.
- the subframe # 6 of the pico cell C1 is suppressed by the subframe # 9 of the macro cell C2, while the interference of the control channel is suppressed.
- subframes # 4 and # 5 of pico cell C1 are interfered by downlink control channels of subframes # 7 and # 8 of macro cell C2, respectively.
- the base station apparatus 20 (see FIG. 7) of the pico cell C1 transmits a downlink radio frame to the mobile terminal apparatus 10 so as to avoid resources that receive interference from the downlink radio frame of the macro cell C2.
- a resource that receives interference from the downlink radio frame of the macro cell C2 is set as a blank resource, and user data is allocated in addition to this blank resource.
- User data is allocated to each mobile terminal device in resource block units in each subframe by the scheduler.
- One resource block includes 12 consecutive subcarriers, and is configured with a resource element as a minimum unit.
- the first three symbols are used for the downlink control channel, and a downlink reference signal for each transmission antenna is arranged in part. Therefore, user data is allocated to the resource block of the pico cell C1 avoiding the downlink control channel, the downlink reference signal, and the blank resource.
- subframe # 4 of picocell C1 interference is received from the fifth symbol to the seventh symbol by the control channel of subframe # 7 of macro cell C2. For this reason, in subframe # 4 of pico cell C1, user data is allocated to resource elements in areas where the first symbol to the third symbol, the fifth symbol to the seventh symbol, and the downlink reference signal are avoided.
- the blank resource of the downlink radio frame of the pico cell C1 is set based on the shift amount of the downlink radio frame transmission timing of the pico cell C1 and the macro cell C2 and the setting position of the blank period of the downlink radio frame of the macro cell C2.
- the shift amount indicates a shift of the downlink control channel in each subframe of the pico cell C1 and the macro cell C2. For this reason, in the subframe of pico cell C1, the resource which receives interference from the downlink control channel of macro cell C2 is specified by the shift amount.
- the resource that receives interference from the downlink control channel and downlink data channel of macro cell C2 is specified in the subframe in which the control channel does not interfere.
- a resource that receives interference from the downlink radio frame of the macro cell C2 is specified, and this resource is set as a blank resource.
- the blank resource set in the base station apparatus of the pico cell is a resource set on the assumption that it receives interference from the radio frame of the macro cell C2.
- the blank resource may be a resource to which no data is allocated or may be defined as a resource to which unnecessary data is allocated.
- a blank resource may be prescribed
- the shift amount may be configured such that the base station apparatus 20 (see FIG. 7) of the pico cell C1 receives the signaling of the base station apparatus 40 of the macro cell, or vice versa.
- the macro cell base station apparatus 40 notifies the pico cell base station apparatus 20 of the setting position of the blank period.
- the base station device 40 of the macro cell does not need to notify the pico cell base station device 20 of the setting position of the blank period.
- the allocation position of the blank resource of the downlink radio frame of the pico cell C1 is notified to the mobile terminal apparatus 10 of the pico cell C1 as blank resource information.
- the mobile terminal apparatus 10 of the pico cell C1 can demodulate user data while avoiding blank resources of downlink radio frames.
- blank resource information may be notified to the mobile terminal apparatus 10 for each subframe.
- the blank resource information is stored in the mobile terminal apparatus 10 in association with the shift amount of the downlink radio frame transmission timing of the pico cell C1 and the macro cell C2, notification to the mobile terminal apparatus 10 is unnecessary. This is because the mobile terminal apparatus 10 can estimate the allocation position of the blank resource from the shift amount.
- the base station apparatus 20 of the pico cell C1 only has to notify the mobile terminal apparatus 10 of the shift amount, so that overhead can be reduced.
- FIG. 6 is an explanatory diagram showing an example of a transmission control process in the base station apparatus of the macro cell according to the embodiment of the present invention.
- the base station apparatus 40 of the macro cell C2 transmits the downlink radio frame to the mobile terminal apparatus 30 so as to avoid resources that interfere with the control channel of the downlink radio frame of the pico cell C1.
- a resource that interferes with the downlink control channel of the downlink radio frame of the pico cell C1 is set as a blank resource, and user data is allocated in addition to this blank resource. Therefore, the user data is allocated to the resource element that avoids the blank resource that interferes with the downlink control channel, the downlink reference signal, and the downlink control channel of the pico cell in the subframe of the macro cell C2. For example, in subframe # 4 of macro cell C2, interference is provided from the fifth symbol to the seventh symbol on the control channel of subframe # 2 of pico cell C1. For this reason, in the subframe # 4 of the macro cell C2, user data is allocated to resource elements in areas where the first symbol to the third symbol, the fifth symbol to the seventh symbol, and the downlink reference signal are avoided.
- the blank resource of the downlink radio frame of the macro cell C2 is set based on the shift amount of the transmission timing of the downlink radio frame of the pico cell C1 and the macro cell C2.
- the shift amount indicates a shift of the downlink control channel in each subframe of the pico cell C1 and the macro cell C2. For this reason, in the subframe of the macro cell C2, a resource that interferes with the downlink control channel of the pico cell C1 is specified by the shift amount. In this way, a resource that interferes with the downlink radio frame of the pico cell C1 is specified, and this resource is set as a blank resource.
- the shift amount may be configured such that the base station apparatus 40 (see FIG. 7) of the macro cell C2 receives the signaling of the base station apparatus 20 of the pico cell, or vice versa.
- the blank resource set in the macro cell base station apparatus is a resource set so as not to interfere with the control channel of the radio frame of the pico cell C1.
- the blank resource may be a resource to which no data is allocated or may be defined as a resource to which unnecessary data is allocated.
- a blank resource may be prescribed
- the allocation position of the blank resource of the downlink radio frame of the macro cell C2 is notified to the mobile terminal device 30 of the macro cell C2 as blank resource information.
- the mobile terminal device 30 of the macro cell C2 can demodulate user data while avoiding blank resources of downlink radio frames.
- blank resource information may be notified to the mobile terminal apparatus 30 for each subframe.
- the blank resource information is stored in the mobile terminal device 30 in association with the amount of shift of the transmission timing of the downlink radio frame of the pico cell C1 and the macro cell C2, notification to the mobile terminal device 30 is unnecessary. This is because the mobile terminal device 30 can estimate the allocation position of the blank resource from the shift amount.
- the base station device 40 of the macro cell C2 only has to notify the mobile terminal device 30 of the shift amount, so that overhead can be reduced.
