Definitions
- the present invention corresponds to the field of technique intended to reduce
- Auxiliary elements for the rescue of passengers or crew who travel in an airplane or similar in the event of an accident are widely known in the state of the art, for example: emergency doors provided with inflatable ramps that are automatically operated at the moment that the plane makes contact with the surface of the ground, sea or river in a violent way, as well as seat belts, lifeguards, and even ejection seats in combat aircraft, which are automatically moved outside the plane in the if it is verified, both automatically and manually, the possibility of an accident.
- US5110071 describes a system for extracting a capsule that houses people, and which is located on an extraction platform located inside an airplane; the same being ejected when the plane is flying at very low altitude with the help of a parachute.
- Patent ES2127068 of the same applicant of the present invention describes a rescue capsule attached to the fuselage of the aircraft that allows the rescue of passengers traveling inside an airplane when the possibility of occurrence in adequate time is established an accident. Said capsule is pressurized, fixed to the fuselage of the plane and separated automatically, and descends gradually with the help of a parachute and being inside the passengers. Passengers travel from the rest of the plane into the capsule through an access door just before the evacuation.
- these are connected to the base fuselage by means of a rail that, at the moment of actuation of the ejection mechanism, is raised by the tail part allowing enough space for the different segments to be released, and with the Additional support from a rocket attached to the segment closest to the tail so that the segments can be sufficiently fired in a direction opposite to the displacement of the base fuselage.
- the rest of the segments are connected to the tail segment by means of cables so that the tail segment pulls the rest of the segments.
- the present invention consists of a system of capsules for the rescue of passengers and air cargo, or provisioning of a population or ground troops.
- it consists of a set of independent capsules located inside the fuselage of an airplane and serving as a passenger compartment for passengers, crew and / or merchandise.
- the capsules are placed one after the other along the entire length of the interior of the fuselage, the pilot's cabin being the front capsule, although the pilot cabin can be constituted into an independent capsule that forms part of the fuselage as in the Spanish patent ES2127068 of the same inventor.
- the pilot's capsule has a generally conical configuration, adapted to the geometry of the front of the plane, and the others a cubic or quadrilateral configuration, with a square cross section with rounded vertices for better aerodynamics once ejected. said aircraft capsules.
- a high-power motor can be used that allows the capsules to be ejected even in the event of a swoop (auger) from the plane, and with high speed, since the evacuation of all Capsules should be carried out in the shortest possible time.
- the location of this engine should preferably be located near the center of gravity of the aircraft to allow for better navigability, balance, and lift of the aircraft.
- each capsule The constitution and components of each capsule are basically as described in the Spanish patent of the same inventor ES2127068.
- the present capsules are suitable or can be adapted to the transport of people, animals and even any type of merchandise such as liquids. Therefore the application is both salvage, and to supply from the air all kinds of materials and goods by air transport. Parachutes are used so that said capsule falls to the ground or sea by its own weight and with the least possible damage to its contents.
- navigation that convert it into a water vehicle and optionally an amphibious vehicle, to, when arriving on land, move thanks to wheels or a chain system to move as is known in the state of the art (track system). They can also provide themselves with means that make it mini-submarines.
- the capsules can incorporate mini-hospitals, including a small operating room with medical equipment and personnel, and a mini-shelter can be created in hermetic and armored capsules, incorporating deposits of water, food or other contents necessary to administer in case of humanitarian emergency , a war, a natural disaster, etc.
- the capsules may have windows aligned with the windows of the fuselage that allow passengers to see outside when the capsules are inside the fuselage of the aircraft.
- the capsule is equipped with a generator propeller of the correct position in the air that acts prior to the opening of the parachute.
- the air bag is placed in the appropriate position, according to this corrected descent path, and therefore, depending on the expected area of impact.
- the capsule construction material requires high strength, and the kebler can be used.
- FIG. 4 view of an alternative to figure 1 with a cockpit-cockpit constituted as an autonomous capsule.
- Figure 1 shows a view of a symmetrical longitudinal section of the aircraft object of the present invention in which it is observed how inside a fuselage (1) there is a succession of independent capsules (2). which can slide along lower (3) and upper (3 ') rails located longitudinally along the internal fuselage of the plane.
- the capsules (2) are located on a Conveyor belt (4), or drag, also longitudinally located from the moor to the tail of the aircraft, which is driven by a motor (5) located close to the center of gravity of the aircraft.
- the expulsion of the capsules (2) is driven by the motor (5) that moves the conveyor belt (4) on which the independent capsules (2) are placed.
- the displacement of the capsules (2) along the interior of the fuselage (1) of the aircraft occurs, as already indicated, with the help of the upper and lower rails (3.3 ') fixed to the base ( or floor) and to the ceiling of the fuselage of the aircraft as it is already known in the state of the art (for example as in US5356097), or even by rails fixed on the internal walls of the fuselage of the aircraft.
- the independent capsules (2) thus displaced, leave the fuselage (1) of the plane by its tail through a door (6) that opens rotating on the axis of its base (6 ') that acts as a hinge (figure one).
- the opening of the door or hatch (6) occurs at the moment of the drive of the motor (5) to drive the conveyor belt (4) or a few moments before, depending on the programming of the ejection system.
- FIG. 2 and 3 a capsule is shown that has windows (7), which, when the capsule is located inside the fuselage of the aircraft, are matched with the windows (V) of the fuselage of the airplane. Inside each of the capsules (2) you can arrange the passenger seats or storage of material to be transported with the appropriate fixings (not shown).
- Figure 2 shows a capsule shape (2), according to a transverse, quadrangular section with rounded vertices to allow a better aerodynamics in the descent of the capsule (2) ejected from the fuselage (1).
- the capsules (2) are
- the capsule (2) constituted from a body with a shape that allows its adaptation to the internal fuselage of the plane.
- the possible narrowings of the fuselage of the aircraft are taken into account to allow the capsule (2) to move along the interior of the fuselage until its exit through the door (6) rear as described above.
- the layout of the rails (4,4 ') must be such that it allows adequate displacement without disruption of all the inner capsules (2).
- the capsules have an armored and pressurized chamber on their perimeter, with access doors that allow access (figure 3) between adjacent capsules when inside the aircraft (although, contrary to the patent of the same applicant ES2127068, this door is not an evacuation door to move from the plane itself to an evacuation zone. On the contrary, in the present invention, the capsules themselves constitute at the same time the passenger compartment and the evacuation chamber itself).
- each independent capsule incorporates a parachute (9) and signaling lights (14), a fully padded internal passenger compartment and a built-in air bag (10).
- the capsule (2) is provided with a generator propeller (11) of the correct position in the air that acts prior to the opening of the parachutes.
- the air bag (10) is placed in the appropriate position, according to this corrected descent path, and therefore, depending on the expected area of impact.
- the capsule (2) is provided with an auxiliary motor (12) for its displacement on the water in case of grounding of it (figure 3). In case of falling of the capsule (2) on a ground, it can be provided with a caterpillar mechanism for its displacement (not shown). Thus becoming an amphibious vehicle.
- the capsule (2) incorporates a radio beacon (13) with a satellite-controlled signal (figure 3).
- the capsule (2 ') of the nose of the plane serves as a cockpit for the pilots and is the last to exit through the trapdoor or rear door (6). Its design is fully adapted to the conical shape of the front of the plane, with double aligned windows, the capsule itself (V) and the (V) fuselage (1) of the aircraft, or external.
