Abstract

La présente invention concerne un appareil de manipulation et de stockage de câbles ou d'amarres en fibre, destiné en particulier à être utilisé en liaison avec des installations flottantes en mer, l'appareil étant conçu pour la réception, le stockage à bord, et le déploiement à partir d'un bateau (2), au moins une cuve ou un compartiment de stockage de câble (3) destiné à charger, enrouler et stocker le câble (1) en couches successives dans la cuve et à sortir le câble (1) de la cuve (3) étant disposée sous le pont (2') du bateau. L'appareil est éventuellement conçu pour coopérer avec au moins un tambour de treuil (6 ; 7) ou avec un autre dispositif de traction.
