Abstract

La présente invention concerne des composés siloxane cycliques comprenant la formule structurale dans laquelle a ≥ 2 et b ≥ 2, R est un groupe alkyle contenant 1 à 4 atomes de carbone, R1 est indépendamment un hydrogène ou un méthyle, des compositions comprenant l'un quelconque des siloxanes cycliques ci-dessus et une silicone additionnelle, des compositions d'émulsion comprenant l'un quelconque des siloxanes cycliques ci-dessus ou la composition ci-dessus, et un procédé pour préparer les composés siloxane cycliques comprenant la réaction d'un polydiméthylsiloxane à blocage terminal par chloro avec un composé diol fonctionnel contenant au moins 3 atomes de carbone.
