  • Such a power braking system only needs the use of one relay valve, thus making the system significantly less complex and cheaper and due to the use of the shuttle valve also avoids the application of different braking pressure to the brakes when both pedals are operated and no steering assistance is required.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système de freinage assisté de véhicule présentant des freins gauche et droit séparés (11, 12) actionnables depuis une source de fluide sous pression (13) par le biais d'un moyen de soupape de relais (16) commandé par des pédales d'actionnement des freins gauche et droit séparées (14, 15) pour générer l'assistance de direction pendant un virage. Le moyen de soupape de relais distribue une pression d'actionnement de frein proportionnelle à l'actionnement de la pédale d'actionnement de frein associée à des soupapes de changement de vitesse gauche et droite séparées (17, 18), chaque soupape de changement de vitesse étant raccordée à la pédale d'actionnement respective (14, 15) par une conduite de pilotage respective (19, 20), de sorte que lorsque chaque pédale est actionnée, la soupape de changement de vitesse associée est ouverte par la pression de la conduite de pilotage respective pour fournir la pression proportionnelle depuis le moyen de soupape de relais vers le frein respectif (11, 12).
