Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système d'interface utilisateur et son procédé de fonctionnement. Le système d'interface utilisateur affiche un menu tel que des listes de prix, de quantités, de types ou de produits ou biens dans un menu multidimensionnel ayant la forme d'un polyèdre présentant au moins deux axes de façon à permettre à un utilisateur de sélectionner des produits ou des biens d'un coup d'oeil depuis le menu multidimensionnel. Le système d'interface utilisateur de cette invention qui propose un menu dynamique multidimensionnel permet d'établir des critères de sélection sur les quantités, les types ou autres sur chaque axe du menu multidimensionnel présentant au moins deux axes; d'afficher, sur un écran, le menu dynamique multidimensionnel dans lequel des menus appropriés sont disposés à chaque intersection entre le critère de sélection défini sur un axe et le critère de sélection défini sur un autre axe; et déplacer le menu dynamique multidimensionnel affiché sur l'écran en fonction d'une entrée utilisateur ou d'introduire sélectivement des produits ou biens proposés dans la liste du menu dynamique multidimensionnel. Selon la présente invention, les utilisateurs peuvent vérifier et sélectionner des produits ou biens désirés d'un coup d'oeil à partir du menu multidimensionnel polyédrique. De plus, le système et le procédé de cette invention peuvent être appliqués à tous types d'appareils d'affichage qui fournissent un menu proposant des listes de produits, de biens, de services ou autres sur un écran.
