Abstract

본 발명은 테라박터 속 유래의 신규한 진세노시드 글리코시다제 단백질에 관한 것으로서, 상기 단백질은 진세노시드의 특정 위치 결합 본드를 선택적으로 가수분해하여 PPD(protopanaxadiol) 타입의 사포닌을 체내 흡수 가능한 고활성 물질로 전환하는 활성을 가지고 있다. 구체적으로, 상기 단백질을 구성하는 아미노산 서열, 상기 단백질을 코딩하는 핵산 서열, 상기 핵산 서열을 포함하는 재조합 벡터, 상기 벡터로 형질전환된 형질전환체에 관한 것이며, 상기 형질전환체를 배양하여 테라박터 속 유래의 진세노시드 글리코시다제를 제조하는 방법, 상기 단백질을 이용하여 PPD 타입의 메이저 사포닌을 마이너 사포닌 형태로 전환하는 방법 및 상기 단백질을 유효성분으로 포함하는 PPD 타입 사포닌을 가용성 사포닌으로 전환하기 위한 조성물에 대한 것이다.
