Abstract

본 발명은 인접한 복수개의 GUI 객체가 함께 터치되어도 사용자가 입력하고자 하는 GUI 객체를 인식할 수 있는 터치입력 인식방법 및 장치를 제공하기 위한 것이다. 본 발명의 터치입력 인식방법은 (a) 터치가 이루어진 터치셀(60)의 좌표값을 수신하는 단계; (b) GUI 객체(210)의 좌표에 대응하는 터치좌표를 읽어 터치입력에 의해 선택된 GUI 객체(210)를 추출하는 단계; (c) 인접한 복수의 GUI 객체(210)가 선택되었는지를 판단하는 단계; 및 (d) 상기 단계(c)에서 인접한 복수의 GUI 객체(210)가 선택되었다면, 터치셀(60)의 터치좌표가 가장 많이 검출된 GUI 객체(210)에 대한 터치입력을 유효한 입력신호로 인식하는 단계;를 포함하하여 구성된다. 이와 같은 본 발명에 따르면, 사용자가 손가락 등으로 복수의 GUI 객체를 동시에 터치하는 경우에도 사용자가 터치 입력하고자 하는 GUI 객체를 정확하게 인식할 수 있으며, 복수의 GUI 객체가 동시에 터치되어도 오작동이나 오인식이 발생하지 않는 효과를 갖는다.
