Abstract

수직축 풍력발전기가 개시된다. 발전기; 수직으로 연장되고 상기 발전기에 회전력을 전달하는 회전축; 상기 회전축으로부터 방사상으로 배치되고, 유입되는 바람에 의해 상기 회전축을 회전시키는 복수의 수직날개; 상기 회전축으로부터 외측으로 연장되고, 연장 단부에서 상기 각 수직날개가 상기 회전축과 평행한 축을 중심으로 힌지 회동 가능하게 설치되는 지지부재; 및 상기 각 수직날개와 상기 각 지지부재 사이에 개재되어 유입되는 바람에 의해 상기 각 수직날개가 힌지 회동할 때 상기 각 수직날개를 기준위치로 탄성적으로 복귀시키는 탄성부재를 포함하고, 상기 각 수직날개의 힌지 회동의 중심은 상기 각 수직날개의 너비의 중심에서 외측 단부 사이에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 수직축 풍력발전기는 각 수직날개의 힌지 회동의 중심이 각 수직날개의 너비의 중심으로부터 외측으로 치우쳐 위치함에 따라, 유입되는 바람에 의해 회전축이 회전하는 상태에서 각 수직날개가 힌지 회동을 할 때, 각 수직날개는 급격하지 않게 밸런스를 유지하며 회동할 수 있다.
