Abstract

Eine Verbrennungskraftmaschine für die Umwandlung von bei der Verbrennung eines Treibstoffes, insbesondere eines H2-O2 Gemisches, freiwerdender Energie in mechanische Arbeit, umfassend mindestens eine Antriebswelle 10, die mit mindestens einem Kammerbauteil 60 verbunden ist, welches mindestens eine Explosionskammer 32 aufweist, mindestens eine Treibstoffzuführung 12, 42, um Treibstoff in die Explosionskammer einzubringen, und mindestens eine Zündvorrichtung zum Zünden von in die Explosionskammer eingebrachtem Treibstoff, leistet schon bei geringen Drehzahlen eine relativ hohes Drehmoment, wenn die Explosionskammer mindestens einen Auslass aufweist, aus dem gezündeter Treibstoff an die Umgebung entweicht, wobei der Auslass derart angeordnet ist, dass der beim Entweichen des gezündeten Treibstoffs entstehende Rückstoß ein Drehmoment auf das Kammerbauteil ausübt.
