Abstract

본 발명은 일반 자전거와 같이 답력으로 페달을 회전시켜 주행할 수 있고, 보다 큰 구동력이 필요할 경우 전동모터의 구동력을 보충하여 주행할 수 있는 자전거용 보조 구동장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 최적의 설치위치와 정합성이 높은 구조, 자전거의 재원의 차이를 극복할 수 있는 가변적인 구조, 소음발생과 초기의 구동충격을 완화할 수 있는 감속구조를 구비하면서, 특히 모터와 감속장치의 일체식 회전타입과 연계하여 시소(Seesaw) 메카니즘을 이용한 오토 접촉 및 해제 시스템을 포함하는 새로운 형태의 보조 구동수단을 구현함으로써, 자전거의 주행 안정성 확보는 물론 경사로 등 주행 여건이 열악한 조건에서도 자전거 주행을 원활하게 하는 한편, 소음 감소 및 초기 구동충격 저감 뿐만 아니라 뛰어난 탑승감을 유지할 수 있으며, 전동 자전거의 성능 향상과 더불어 전동 자전거 이용과 관련한 취급성 및 조작성을 향상시킬 수 있는 자전거용 보조 구동장치를 제공한다.
