Definitions
- the present invention relates to a fixture of a dental implant, and more particularly, to a fixture of a dental implant capable of filling a bone forming material, such as BMP (Bone Morphogenetic Protein). .
- BMP Bis Morphogenetic Protein
- Implant refers to a substitute that is originally restored when human tissue is lost, but in the dentist refers to the implantation of artificial teeth.
- artificial roots made of titanium (Titanium) which are not rejected by the human body, are placed in the alveolar bone where the teeth fall out, and then the artificial teeth are fixed to restore the function of the teeth.
- Implants also enhance the function of dentures and improve the esthetic aspects of dental prosthetic restorations, as well as in single missing restorations. Furthermore, it can disperse excessive stress on the surrounding supportive bone tissue, which can help stabilize the teeth.
- Such implants generally include fixtures that are placed as artificial roots, abutments that are bonded onto the fixture, abutment screws that secure the abutments to the fixture, and artificial joints that are joined to the abutments. Include an crown (Artificial Crown). However, the fixture and the abutment may be provided integrally, in which case the abutment screw may be omitted.
- a healing abutment or cover screw is applied before the abutment is bonded to the fixture, i.e., until the fixture is fused to the alveolar bone. It can also be coupled to a fixture to remain engaged.
- the fixture plays a role of an artificial tooth root as a part to be placed in a drill hole formed after forming a drill hole using a drill or the like at a position where the implant is to be placed. Therefore, the fixture must be firmly placed in the alveolar bone.
- the male thread is formed on the outer surface of the fixture so as to be firmly coupled to the inner wall portion of the alveolar bone forming the drill hole.
- These male threads form a female thread in the alveolar bone to allow the fixture and the alveolar bone to be firmly coupled to the alveolar bone as well as to increase the contact area between the fixture and the alveolar bone, thereby enhancing the fixation force of the fixture to the alveolar bone.
- the bone fusion of the fixture to the alveolar bone is secured when it is placed in the alveolar bone with high bone density, thereby securing the fixation force of the fixture to the alveolar bone, for example, the bone density is relatively If a dental implant fixture is placed in a small alveolar bone, the fixation force of the fixture to the alveolar bone cannot be secured because the bone fusion of the fixture to the alveolar bone does not proceed densely even after several months of bone fusion for healing. This may cause problems such as the need for re- implantation.
- An object of the present invention is to continuously fill the filling space formed in the fixture body with a bone forming material that promotes bone formation, for example, bone morphogenetic protein (BMP), if necessary during or after the procedure. It can promote bone formation of the alveolar bone around the fixture body during the bone fusion period, thereby improving the bone density of the alveolar bone, thereby providing a dental implant fixture that can strengthen the fixation force of the fixture to the alveolar bone.
- a bone forming material that promotes bone formation, for example, bone morphogenetic protein (BMP)
- the filling space formed in the fixture body can be continuously filled with bone-forming material, such as bone morphogenetic protein (BMP, BMP, BMP), which promotes bone formation, if necessary during or after the procedure.
- bone-forming material such as bone morphogenetic protein (BMP, BMP, BMP)
- BMP bone morphogenetic protein
