Abstract

L'invention concerne des moyens de transport, et en particulier une machine qui se déplace sur un monorail ayant une section transversale rectangulaire. La machine comprend un fuselage aérodynamique, deux éléments de support mécaniques pourvus d'un crochet à leur extrémité, dans chaque extrémité de crochet étant encastrée une roue qui tourne à l'aide de boulons et de paliers, et des plaques de recouvrement ou des ressorts qui sont fixés des deux côtés de la roue pour empêcher celle-ci de se déplacer. Une ouverture de type fente à section transversale rectangulaire est formée dans la roue et coïncide avec la surface rectangulaire du monorail et permet à la roue de prendre appui solidement contre le monorail et de glisser le long de celui-ci. L'autre extrémité des éléments de support est fixée au fuselage. Un premier moteur de propulsion, qui peut être un moteur à combustion ou un moteur électrique, est monté sur la section avant du fuselage, peut tourner dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre ou dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d'une montre, fait avancer la machine, l'arrête ou lui fait faire marche arrière. Le deuxième moteur à propulsion est monté sur l'autre section du fuselage et l'écoulement d'air qu'il suscite converge avec l'écoulement d'air du premier moteur de sorte qu'ils fassent avancer la machine ensemble. Ainsi, grâce au support doté de roues dans lesquelles est formée une ouverture de type fente présentant une section transversale rectangulaire et coïncidant avec la surface rectangulaire du monorail, la machine peut glisser le long du monorail rectangulaire sans être déportée.
