Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif escalator pour vélos, et plus particulièrement un dispositif escalator comprenant : un moyen transporteurs tournant du bas jusqu'en haut d'une route en pente pour permettre à l'utilisateur de monter la route en pente tout en restant assis sur son vélo; des moyens d'entraînement actionnant le moyen transporteur; et une plaque d'appui de pied destinée à immobiliser un pied de l'utilisateur ou une pédale d'un côté du vélo sur une surface latérale du moyen transporteur. Ainsi, lorsqu'un pied de l'utilisateur ou une pédale du vélo est placé sur la plaque d'appui alors que l'utilisateur est assis sur le vélo, le moyen transporteur est entraîné pour faire tourner la plaque d'appui à laquelle il est relié dans un mouvement alternatif et pour permettre à l'utilisateur non seulement de monter la route en pente en restant assis sur le vélo mais également de descendre la route de façon sûre dans l'autre sens, ce qui double d'efficacité d'utilisation du vélo.
