  • the invention according to the Invention Patent No. 20090069 refers to a method for expanding and / or reducing the friction of tensioning elements in orthodontic supports, and the Invention Patent No. 201030313 the improvements introduced in said support.
  • the object of the invention focuses on an innovative procedure, applicable in orthodontic brackets, specifically of the type of so-called brackets and consisting of support devices that are fixed to the dental pieces that have grooves in which they are housed.

  • This procedure is essentially based on two aspects that can be used in combination in the same treatment, or even added to the same bracket or support of each dental piece, comprising, on the one hand the introduction of a substance that can increase or reduce the aforementioned friction between the tensioning element and the groove and, on the other, in the incorporation of a flexible solid body that dramatically increases said friction.
  • Another object of the invention as indicated in Invention Patent No. 201030313 is a support for dental parts of the so-called improved brackets, applicable in orthodontics comprising a base, one of whose faces adheres to the dental surface, and a cover, in which the working groove is located, which is located at the base in the rest of the existing brackets.
