目前最常见的接收移动多媒体广播信号的终端是手机, 移动多媒体广播 节目俗称手机电视, 以下以具体应用实例来说明本发明移动多媒体广播信号 指示装置。 如图 2所示, 由电视接收模块 1和电视解调芯片 2来实现以上移 动多媒体广播模块, 由应用处理芯片 3来实现以上应用处理模块, 由信号指 示灯 4来实现以上信号强度显示模块。 该移动多媒体广播信号指示装置所实 现的移动多媒体广播信号指示方法包括以下步骤。
步骤 301 : 在待机情况下, 应用处理芯片通过内部定时器或移动终端定 时器被自动唤醒, 并根据内部软件设置的任务来启动电视模块, 即分别给电 视接收模块和电视解调芯片上电。
步骤 302: 电视接收模块自动接收电视广播信号, 并将电视广播信号传 送给电视解调芯片, 电视解调芯片将输入信号进行解调, 将解调后的信号经 由内部电路处理而得到接收信号强度值 (RSSI), 并将该接收信号强度值存入 寄存器中。
步骤 303 : 应用处理芯片读取电视解调芯片内部寄存器中的接收信号强 度值。
步骤 304: 根据接收信号强度值判断当前环境信号是否能支持正常播放, 如果接收信号强度值在正常信号强度范围内 (如在 -lOdbm和 -90dbm之间) , 执行步骤 305 , 如果接收信号强度值在弱信号强度范围内 (如在 -90dbm和 -98dbm之间) , 则执行步骤 306;
一般接收信号强度值在- lOdbm和- 98dbm之间。 当接收信号强度值在
-90dbm以下时, 基本上找不到网络或无法正常播放。 因此根据接收信号强度 值的不同, 软件作出不同的任务流程。
步骤 305: 应用处理器内部软件开启控制信号指示灯的以 1秒间隔闪烁 的任务, 在硬件上通过 GPIO ( General-purpose I/O, 通用输入输出) 口来控 制信号指示灯的开关, 以起到信号指示灯闪烁的效果, 并提醒用户当前信号 强度足够, 可以正常播放手机电视。
信号指示灯可以根据机壳造型被置于用户便于看见的地方。 这样, 用户 就可以通过信号指示灯的状态直观地识别当前电视广播信号环境是否适合播 放。
步骤 306: 应用处理器内部软件关闭信号指示灯的以 1秒间隔闪烁的任 务, 在硬件上通过 GPIO 口来控制信号指示灯处于关闭状态, 即熄灭信号指 示灯。
步骤 307: 应用处理芯片将电视模块电源关断, 同时自身进入睡眠模式, 直到下一次被内部定时器唤醒以再次进入任务流程。
唤醒间隔时间可以根据电视手机实网使用情况和耗电量的权衡来决定, 建议为 1分钟左右的时间。
本发明的移动多媒体广播信号指示方法、 装置及移动终端突破了现有移 动终端在提供移动多媒体广播服务时的局限, 在待机情况下根据广播信号给 予用户信号灯指示, 使用户在想要播放电视之前随时方便直观地了解当前信 号环境, 如果遇到没有信号指示的情况, 说明当前环境不适合播放电视, 这 样也就不必浪费时间来进行打开电视模块、 搜网等操作, 从而给用户带来方 便、 有效、 实用的附加值及良好的用户体验。
工业实用性
根据本发明的移动多媒体广播信号指示方法、 装置及移动终端突破了现 有移动终端在提供移动多媒体广播服务时的局限, 便于移动终端用户随时方 便直观地了解当前移动多媒体广播信号强度, 并避免因盲目启动移动多媒体 广播而给用户带来不良用户体验。

Claims

权 利 要 求 书
1、 一种移动多媒体广播信号指示方法,其基于具有移动多媒体广播节目 播放功能的移动终端而实现并包括:
( a )所述移动终端接收和解调移动多媒体广播信号, 并处理解调后的移 动多媒体广播信号以获得接收信号强度值; 以及
( b )所述移动终端根据所述接收信号强度值显示接收信号强度。
2、 如权利要求 1所述的方法, 其中在所述步骤(b ) 中的所述接收信号 强度是利用指示灯显示的, 若所述接收信号强度值低于预设的门限值, 则指 示灯关闭, 否则, 指示灯打开, 所述门限值是根据移动多媒体广播节目是否 能正常播放为依据设定的。
3、 如权利要求 1所述的方法,其中所述接收信号强度划分为至少两个级 另 J , 所述接收信号强度的显示方式为釆用颜色、 文字、 图形或指示灯。
4、 如权利要求 1至 3中任一项所述的方法, 其中所述步骤(a )是定时 周期性执行的。
5、 一种移动多媒体广播信号指示装置, 包括:
移动多媒体广播模块, 其用于接收及解调移动多媒体广播信号, 以及处 理解调后的移动多媒体广播信号以获取并保存接收信号强度值;
信号强度显示模块, 其用于釆用可视的方式显示接收信号强度; 以及 应用处理模块, 其用于启动所述移动多媒体广播模块, 并根据所述接收 信号强度值控制所述信号强度显示模块进行显示。
6、 如权利要求 5所述的装置,其中所述信号强度显示模块是利用指示灯 显示接收信号强度的, 所述应用处理模块若判定所述接收信号强度值低于预 设的门限值, 则指示所述信号强度显示模块关闭指示灯, 否则, 指示信号强 度显示模块打开指示灯; 所述门限值是根据移动多媒体广播节目是否能正常 播放为依据设定的。
7、 如权利要求 5所述的装置, 其中所述信号强度显示模块是釆用颜色、 文字或图形来显示接收信号强度的,所述接收信号强度划分为至少两个级别。
8、 如权利要求 5至 7中任一项所述的装置,其中所述应用处理模块是定 时启动所述移动多媒体广播模块的。
9、 一种移动终端,其具有移动多媒体广播节目播放功能并包括移动多媒 体广播信号指示装置, 所述装置包括:
移动多媒体广播模块, 其用于接收及解调移动多媒体广播信号, 以及处 理解调后的移动多媒体广播信号以获取并保存接收信号强度值;
信号强度显示模块, 其用于釆用可视的方式显示接收信号强度; 以及 应用处理模块, 其用于启动所述移动多媒体广播模块, 并根据所述接收 信号强度值控制所述信号强度显示模块进行显示。
10、 如权利要求 9所述的移动终端, 其中所述信号强度显示模块是利用 指示灯显示接收信号强度的 , 所述应用处理模块若判定所述接收信号强度值 低于预设的门限值, 则指示所述信号强度显示模块关闭指示灯, 否则, 指示 信号强度显示模块打开指示灯; 所述门限值是根据移动多媒体广播节目是否 能正常播放为依据设定的。
