Abstract

Utilisation d'un outillage dans une machine de pressage, comprenant un ou deux poinçons (2 ou 3) et une matrice (5) composée de secteurs de cercle (23) pouvant s'écarter mais unis à une partie principale commune (21), une bague (25) entourant et retenant les secteurs, contre lesquels elle est ajustée par des surfaces coniques, et dont l'altitude est variable grâce à la rotation d'une couronne (15) munie d'une face en relief. Quand la compression est finie, le démoulage est précédé d'un écartement léger des secteurs qui permet de relâcher les contraintes dans la pièce comprimée et évite de nombreux risques de dommages à la pièce. Les secteurs sont rendus résistants par des inserts (46) en matière dure, généralement amovibles et pouvant être façonnés au profil exact des pièces à former.
