Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Vorrichtung zur Herstellung von rundlichen Metallpartikeln hoher Größen- und Form-Uniformität aus einer Schmelze sowie Verfahren zur Herstellung von rundlichen Metallpartikeln aus einer hochreaktiven Metallschmelze hoher Größen- und Form-Uniformität mit folgenden Schritten: Schmelzen des metallischen Ausgangsmaterials unter einer Luftabschluss; Transportieren der Metallschmelze in einem geschlossenen Granulierrohr aus dem Schmelzeofen zu mindestens einem Schmelzeauslaß; Austritt der Schmelze aus dem Schmelzeauslaß über einem Drehteller in Form von diskreten Tropfen bis als Schmelzestrahl, der bis zum Auftreffen auf den Drehteller zu Tropfen zerfällt; Leiten eines Schutzgasstroms in den Bereich der aus dem Schmelzeauslass austretenden Schmelze, Auffangen der zu Schmelze auf dem Drehteller in Form von diskreten Schmelzetropfen, Erstarren der Schmelzetropfen zu Granulatpartikeln durch Kontakt mit der kälteren Oberfläche des Drehtellers, und Leiten der Granulatpartikel zur Verpackung/Weiterverarbeitung vom Drehteller.
