Abstract

본 발명은 변속기내에서 샤프트를 지지하는 베어링이 축방향으로 움직이지 않도록 고정하는 베어링 리테이너를 제조함에 있어 볼트 머리가 결합되는 부분의 치수 정밀도를 향상시킬 수 있도록 하고, 표면 연마가공을 최소화시키면서도 표면 조도를 극대화시켜 베어링 리테이너를 고정하는 볼트의 볼트 머리가 베어링 리테이너에 더욱 안정적으로 체결 및 밀착되어 조립되도록 하여, 볼트 머리가 밀착되는 부분에서 틈새가 발생되므로써, 오일이 유입되어 궁극적으로 진동에 의한 볼트의 체결력이 저하되는 것을 효과적으로 방지할 수 있도록 하기 위한 변속기용 베어링 리테이너의 제조방법을 제공한다. 본 발명에 따른 변속기용 베어링 리테이너의 제조방법은 베어링 리테이너에 볼트가 결합되는 볼트홀을 형성하는데, 볼트홀을 형성하는 단계는 볼트홀의 볼트 기초공(14)을 프레스 가공법 중 피어싱(piercing) 가공을 통해 형성하고, 볼트의 볼트 머리가 밀착되는 확대공(16)을 프레스 가공법 중 압입(sizing) 가공을 통해 형성한다. 따라서, 본 발명에 따르면, 소성변형을 통해 볼트가 결합되는 부분(특히, 확대공)의 표면 조도가 종래 절삭가공에 비해 우수하게 되므로, 볼트 머리가 밀착되는 부분에서 틈새가 발생되므로써, 오일이 유입되어 궁극적으로 진동에 의한 볼트의 체결력이 저하되는 변속기의 고장 및 파손을 방지할 수 있다.
