Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft Verfahren und Mittel zur biotechnologisch fermentativen Herstellung von Lösungsmitteln, besonders von Butanol, Aceton und Ethanol, sowie von kurzkettigen Carbonsäuren wie Essigsäure und Buttersäure, besonders in Wirtszellen der Gattung Clostridium. Die Erfindung stellt neue Verfahren und Mittel zur Regulation der Expression von an der Säure- und/oder Lösungsmittelproduktion der Wirtszelle beteiligten Enzymaktivitäten bereit.
