Description

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR STUDYING
BASED ON PARTIAL CONCEALMENT OF STUDY INFORMATION AND PORTABLE UNIT HAVING FUNCTION THEREOF
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a method and system for studying based on partial concealment of study information in which any one of a question and an answer for various study information is concealed and then is exposed so that an instant remembrance study can be performed, and a portable unit having a function thereof.
Background Art
In general, language studying methods or studying methods of preparing various examinations are generally performed by using one-sided lecture and cramming education methods by which on-line education is performed via the Internet or a study is performed using an off-line portable unit.
In such conventional studying methods, a user accesses a study program stored in a database (DB) of an on-line server via the Internet, or accesses a study program of a study portable unit or an electronic dictionary portable unit in an off-line so that the user can study by simply seeing study contents according to a study procedure.
In addition, in the conventional studying methods, the user studies by manually seeing a correct answer to a question in a study procedure provided from an on-line server or a question provided by a study portable unit or an electronic dictionary portable unit in an off-line and a procedure of solving the question.
However, in the conventional studying methods, only a one-sided cramming study for predetermined study contents is compelled, and a correct answer to a study question and a procedure of solving the study question are fragmentarily provided to the user. Thus, a user's interest on study is reduced, and the efficiency of a study is lowered.
Furthermore, in the conventional studying methods, a study is performed while a human remembrance characteristic of study contents is not considered and imparting of only one-sided and fragmentary knowledge is focused. Thus, even when the user performs study repeatedly on study contents, it is not easy to remember study contents for a long time.
In addition, in the conventional studying methods, it is not easy to check vulnerable portions of user's study contents exactly. Thus, a study of the vulnerable portions of the user's study contents is not efficiently performed, and the vulnerable portions of the user's study contents are not concentratively studied.
Disclosure of the Invention
The present invention provides a method and system for studying based on partial concealment of study information in which any one of a question and an answer of study contents is concealed and then is exposed so as to perform an instant remembrance study so that a human common remembrance characteristic is maximized and study contents can be remembered for a long time, and a portable unit having a function thereof.
The present invention also provides a method and system for studying based on partial concealment of study information in which a study for checking vulnerable portions of study contents and study for confirming studied contents are performed so that a study for checking and concentrating the vulnerable portions of the study contents can be performed, and a portable unit having a function thereof.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a method of studying based on partial concealment of study information, the method including: if a study of predetermined study contents selected from among a plurality of study contents according to at least one or more study fields is requested by user's input manipulation performed by a user inputting unit, loading study information about the requested study contents from a database (DB), wherein the loading is performed by a control unit; setting study settings of the study information about the study contents that are loaded by the control unit, according to a user's selection input performed by the user inputting unit; performing a partial concealment study in which a question and an answer for each study question of the study contents are selectively and partially concealed and exposed based on the study settings, wherein the performing of the partial concealment study is performed by the control unit; and if the partial concealment study for the study question of the study contents is terminated, generating study result information about the study question and recording and storing the generated study information in the DB.
According to another embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a system for studying based on partial concealment of study information, the system including: a user inputting unit performing a key input for a partial concealment study; a database (DB) in which data of study contents according to at least one more study fields are stored, a program driven so as to perform the partial concealment study of the study contents is stored and loading of the previously-stored data of the study contents and processing of data generated during the partial concealment study are performed; a control unit controlling the system so as to perform the partial concealment study in which a question and an answer of each study question of the study contents are selectively and partially concealed and exposed, according to user input manipulation performed by the user inputting unit; and a display unit displaying a study screen of the partial concealment study under display control performed by the control unit.
According to another embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a portable unit having a function of studying based on partial concealment of study information, the portable unit including: a key inputting unit performing a setting key inputting function of setting a study method for a partial concealment study of study contents and a key inputting function of performing a study for each study question of the study contents; a contents memory in which a database (DB) of the study contents according to at least one or more study fields is constituted; a program memory in which a system operating a program of the portable unit and an execution program for performing the partial concealment study are stored; a data memory in which data generated during the partial concealment study of the study contents are temporarily stored; a microprocessor controlling the portable unit so as to load the study contents from the contents memory and to perform the partial concealment study in which a question and an answer of each study question of the study contents are selectively and partially concealed and exposed, according to user input manipulation performed by the key inputting unit; a character processing unit performing a graphic character generating process of selectively and partially concealing or exposing a question or an answer of a study question for the partial concealment study of the study contents under control performed by the microprocessor; and a display unit displaying a graphic character of the selective partial concealment study for the question and the answer of the study question that is generated and processed by the character processing unit while displaying the study contents loaded from the contents memory according to control performed by the microprocessor.

Exemplary embodiments of the present invention will now be described with reference to the attached drawings.
FIG. 1 illustrates a structure of a system for studying based on partial concealment of study information according to an embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to FIG. 1 , the system for studying based on partial concealment of study information according to the present embodiment includes a key inputting unit 10, a card information processing unit 12, a contents memory card 14, a program memory 16, a data memory 18, a study database (DB) memory 19, a microprocessor 20, a character processing unit 22, a display driving unit 24, a display unit 26, and an input and output interface 28. The key inputting unit 10 include function key buttons for performing a function of setting a study method for a partial concealment study of study contents, a key inputting function of setting any one of an automatic study mode and a manual study mode, a key inputting function of performing a study for each study element of the study contents, and a key inputting function of performing a confirmation study and a check study.
The card information processing unit 12 performs a card reading function of reading and performing the study contents stored in the contents memory card 14, and a card recording function of recording and storing the study contents to be added, in the contents memory card 14. The card information processing unit 12 includes a card accommodation mechanism for accommodating the contents memory card 14.
The contents memory card 14 is a detachable card information recording medium which has a predetermined memory storage capacity and in which study contents of various study fields are stored. Referring to FIG. 2, a plurality of study contents DB 14-1 through 14-n is structured according to study fields, and if a predetermined study contents DB is selected from the study contents DB 14-1 through 14-n, the study contents DB is read by the card information processing unit 12 and is displayed as a contents list on a display screen of the display unit 26.
Contents according to language subjects, such as English contents, for example, TOEIC, TOEFL, SAT, English words for beginners, English conversations, etc., Korean contents, for example, a Korean ability test, Korean school, etc., Japanese contents, for example, basic Japanese words, hiragana, katakana, living Japanese, etc., Chinese contents, for example, Chinese words, living Chinese, etc., and Chinese character contents, for example, a Chinese character ability test, Thousand-Character Text school, etc., contents for students, such as society research for the national college entrance examination, for example, Korean history, world history, modern and contemporary history, politics, economics, society culture, ethics, world geography, Korean geography, etc., science research for the national college entrance examination, for example, physics, chemistry, biology, earth sciences, etc., English for the national college entrance examination, secondary science, secondary Korean history, secondary home economics/society, elementary science, and elementary Korean history, and contents according to subjects of various examinations, such as a public official test, technology examination, policeman examination, etc., may be stored in the study contents DB 14-1 through 14-n stored in the contents memory card 14. The study contents stored in the contents memory card 14 are constituted as a file in the format of Flash, for example, *.SOL, including a Flash program, for example, Flash Lite version 2.0, and an Action Script program, for example, Action Script version 2.0, and contents of each study contents are created by using an integrated document creation program such as the Microsoft Excel, the Microsoft Power Point, the Microsoft Access, etc.
FIG. 3 illustrates a structure of a database (DB) of the study contents recording medium shown in FIG. 2, and FIG. 4 illustrates a structure of a DB in which contents of a check study and contents of a confirmation study are stored, which are generated in a procedure of studying study contents, according to an embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to FIG. 3, when English word study contents are created by using the Microsoft Excel so as to constitute a DB, the study contents DB 14-1 through 14-n each include an ID number according to words, e.g., 0001 , an equation operator for the ID number, e.g., &num1=, an English word question that is dependent on the ID number, e.g., halcyon, a designated operator for each English word, e.g., &a1=, a Korean answer corresponding to the English word question, e.g., pyeongonhan, onwhahan, and a designated operator for the Korean answer, e.g., &b1 =. The shape of the study contents DB 14-1 through 14-n is not limited to the shape shown in FIG. 3, and any shape in which a function of studying based on partial concealment of study information according to the present invention is compatibly performed by using various integrated document creation programs, may be applied to the shape of the study contents DB 14-1 through 14-n.
Additionally, a plurality of example items in which contents directly related to study elements are summarized according to study elements (questions and answers according to units) of each study contents, are created in advance in the study contents DB 14-1 through 14-n so that a user can use the plurality of example items when making objective questions during a future confirmation study for the study contents.
Meanwhile, according to the present invention, the study contents may be stored in the separate contents memory card 14, and the contents memory card 14 may be detached from the system for studying based on partial concealment of study information shown in FIG. 1. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and a separate built-in memory in which study contents are stored, may be included in the system for studying based on partial concealment of study information shown in FIG. 1. A system operating program according to the operating system of the system for studying based on partial concealment of study information, and an execution program for performing studying based on partial concealment of study information are stored in the program memory 16. Thus, the execution program includes a Flash execution program in which a contents file in the format of Flash is read and study contents are extracted, and a program for executing an Action Script for operating the study contents.
The data memory 18 stores information data generated during a procedure of performing studying based on partial concealment of the study contents temporarily. The study DB memory 19 receives contents of a check study and contents of a confirmation study, which are created according to the study contents by performing studying based on partial concealment of the study contents, from each of the study contents DB 14-1 through 14-n of the contents memory card 14 and stores the contents of the check study and the contents of the confirmation study.
Referring to FIG. 4, the study DB memory 19 extracts data about each study element (i.e., question and answer objects) of study contents checked by the user from the study contents DB 14-1 through 14-n of the contents memory card 14 and stores the data, so that a plurality of contents check study DB 19a-1 through 19a-n can be constituted according to study contents and can correct check times of the plurality of contents check study DB 19a-1 through 19a-n as occasion demands when an additional study or a check study of the study contents is performed. The checked study contents are extracted in the above manner so that the data of the study contents recorded in the study contents DB 14-1 through 14-n can be stored in the contents check study DB 19a-1 through 19a-n and address information about the checked study element can be stored in the contents check study DB 19a-1 through 19a-n and study elements of the study contents can be called based on the address information during a future check study.
In addition, if studying of the study contents is terminated in a complete study state or an incomplete study state, as illustrated in FIG. 4, the study DB memory 19 extracts study contents to be confirmed, from the study contents DB 14-1 through 14-n of the contents memory card 14 and stores the study contents to be confirmed, thereby constituting the plurality of contents check study DB 19a-1 through 19a-n.
The contents of the confirmation study are extracted in the above manner so that a plurality of question items or answer items according to study elements can be extracted from a contents chapter of study contents to be confirmed, and the plurality of question items or answer items can be stored as the contents of the confirmation study, so as to create example questions of a four multiple-choice method type or a five multiple-choice method type when a future confirmation study is performed, and when example items of the study elements (i.e., question and answer objects) to be confirmed are included in the study contents DB 14-1 through 14-n, the example items can be extracted from the study contents DB 14-1 through 14-n and stored in the study DB memory 19.
The microprocessor 20 controls the system for studying based on partial concealment of study information shown in FIG. 1 so that studying based on partial concealment of the study contents that are read by the card information processing unit 12 and stored in the contents memory card 14, can be performed according to settings by selecting the study contents and by setting a study of the selected study contents (that is, the range of study, the number of remembrance, and a concealment portion) and by setting one of an automatic study mode or a manual study mode according to a user's key input performed by the key inputting unit 10.
In addition, if studying based on partial concealment of the study contents is terminated in a complete study state (that is, the state where study of a study contents chapter is completed) or in an incomplete study state (that is, the state where the study of the study contents chapter is not completed) according to a user's key input performed by the key inputting unit 10, the microprocessor 20 controls the system for studying based on partial concealment of study information of FIG. 1 so that the contents of the confirmation study and the contents of the check study can be generated based on data of the study contents DB 14-1 through 14-n stored in the contents memory card 14 to be updated and stored in the study DB memory 19 and the confirmation study and the check study can be performed based on studying based on partial concealment of the study contents according to the contents of the confirmation study and the contents of the check study stored in the study DB memory 19 according to user's selection.
The character processing unit 22 performs a graphic character generating process of selectively concealing or exposing a question or an answer in correspondence to the automatic study mode or the manual study mode according to an exposure operation according to study elements (i.e., question and answer objects) of study contents based on settings that are set by the user so as to perform the partial concealment study of the study contents, under control performed by the microprocessor 20.
The display driving unit 24 performs a display driving operation of displaying a menu for setting a study and a menu for setting a study mode and of displaying study contents for the partial concealment study and a graphic character for a partial concealment operation performed by the character processing unit 22 on the display unit 26.
The input/output interface 28 is connected to a desk top computer terminal or an external computing device such as a notebook computer, a palm computer, or a station manager personal computer (SMPC), receives information data related to the study contents and additional study contents from the external computing device, and performs an interface operation of outputting the information data (e.g., the contents of the confirmation study, the contents of the check study, etc.) stored in the system for studying based on partial concealment of study information shown in FIG. 1 to the external computing device. Here, the input/output interface 28 may be a wired serial port such as a universal serial bus (USB) port or an IEEE 1394 port, and may also be a wireless communication port such as Bluetooth or infrared data association (IrDA).
Meanwhile, in the system of FIG. 1 , the key inputting unit 10 functions as a user inputting unit that performs a key input for studying based on partial concealment, and the card information processing unit 12, the contents memory card 14, the program memory 16, the data memory 18, and the study DB memory 19 function as a DB that performs driving of a program for studying based on partial concealment of the study contents, data loading of the previously-stored study contents DB and storing the study contents of the confirmation study and the check study and processing of the study. The microprocessor 20 functions as a control unit that controls studying based on partial concealment of study information, and the character processing unit 22, the display driving unit 24, and the display unit 26 function as a display unit for displaying a study screen of the partial concealment study, and the input/output interface 28 functions as a data input/output unit for inputting and outputting data into and to an external device.
The user inputting unit, the DB, the control unit, the display unit, and the data input/output unit are used as essential elements of the system for studying based on partial concealment of study information of FIG. 1.
FIG. 5 illustrates the overall information processing flow of studying based on partial concealment of study information, according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 5, a plurality of contents chapters are stored in the study contents DB 14-1 through 14-n stored in the contents memory card 14 according to study contents, and the microprocessor 20 allows a predetermined contents chapter to be selected from the plurality of contents chapters provided according to the study contents according to user's selection and to be studied.
If the contents chapter is selected, the microprocessor 20 controls the system for studying based on partial concealment of study information shown in FIG. 1 so that the range of study of the contents chapter and the number of remembrance can be selected according to menu manipulation and a portion to be concealed can be selected from study elements (that is, question and answer objects) in the contents chapter.
The portion to be concealed may be selected in such a way that, if a question is selected from among the study elements, the question is concealed and then is exposed in the state where the answer is exposed, and if the answer is selected, the answer is concealed and then is exposed in the state where the question is exposed, and thus a normal study based on answer presumption or a reverse study based on answer reverse presumption may be selectively performed.
In addition, the microprocessor 20 allows an automatic study or a manual study of the selected contents chapter, to be selected by the user. Thus, if the automatic study is selected, an automatic partial concealment study mode in which the study element in the contents chapter is automatically moved to the next study element in units of a predetermined time and is exposed, is set without user's manual manipulation, and if the manual study is selected, a manual partial concealment study mode in which the study element of the contents chapter is moved to the next study element and is exposed depending on user's manual manipulation, is set.
The contents chapter includes a plurality of study elements that belong to the category classified by a predetermined chapter, and a question and an answer are included in each study element, and question concealment (reverse study) or answer concealment (normal study) may be performed by using partial concealment methods.
Here, the contents chapter may include small units classified by its respective chapters according to a study field of the study contents or the characteristic of a study subject, where small units of each chapter may include additionally-classified small units.
The study range and the number of remembrance that are set by menu manipulation are applied to the contents chapter, so that partial concealment study of each study element can be performed according to the set study range and the number of remembrance.
Meanwhile, if a study for the contents chapter is terminated according to a user's compulsory termination command when the study of a predetermined c hapter is terminated or is being performed, the microprocessor 20 allows contents of a confirmation study for giving questions to be generated so as to check the degree of study based on the contents of the study contents DB 14-1 through 14-n, and if a study element checked by the user during a partial concealment study is present, the microprocessor 20 allows the study element as contents of a check study to be generated.
Accordingly, if the confirmation study is selected by user's menu manipulation, the microprocessor 20 allows the confirmation study to be performed in a partial concealment study manner based on the generated contents of the confirmation study, and if the check study is selected by the user, the microprocessor 20 allows the check study to be performed in the partial concealment study manner based on the generated contents of the check study. The automatic partial concealment study mode or the manual partial concealment study mode may be selectively applied to the check study. Subsequently, operations of a method of studying based on partial concealment of study information according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to flowcharts of FIGS. 6A and 6B, FIGS. 7A and 7B, FIGS. 8A and 8B, FIGS. 9A and 9B, FIGS. 10A and 10B, FIGS. 11A and 11 B, FIGS. 12A and 12B, FIGS. 13A and 13B, and FIG. 14. First, if, in Operation S10, a type of contents to be studied is selected by a user's key input of the key inputting unit 10 from a plurality of study contents stored in the contents memory card 14, in Operation S1 1 , the microprocessor 20 allows DB information about the study contents selected from the plurality of study contents DB 14-1 to 14-n stored in the contents memory card 14 to be loaded by using the card information processing unit 12 and allows the DB information to be displayed.
In other words, as illustrated in FIG. 7A, the microprocessor 20 allows the DB information about the study contents to be loaded and contents chapter items of the study contents (e.g., TOEIC. TEPS English words (1), TOEIC. TEPS English-English words (1), TOEIC. TEPS English word examples (1)) to be displayed on the display unit 26.
In that state, in Operation S12, the microprocessor 20 determines whether the confirmation study is selected or not by menu manipulation of a user's key input performed by the key inputting unit 10, and if it is determined that the confirmation study is selected, in Operation S13, the microprocessor 20 allows the study DB memory 19 to be accessed and determines whether the contents of the confirmation study are stored or not according to the contents chapter of the study contents.
If it is determined that the contents of the confirmation study is stored, in Operation S14, the microprocessor 20 allows the confirmation study (see FIG. 14) to be performed in a partial concealment study manner based on the contents of the confirmation study of the contents chapter stored in the study DB memory 19.
Meanwhile, if it is determined in Operation S12 that the user has not selected the confirmation study during menu manipulation, in Operation S15, the microprocessor 20 determines whether a check study is selected or not. If it is determined that the user has not selected the check study, in Operation S 16, the microprocessor 20 allows a study for the contents chapter to be set according to user's menu manipulation and thus, as illustrated in FIG. 7B, the microprocessor 20 allows a study start range, a study termination range, the number of instant remembrance, and a concealment portion to be selected. The study start range is used to set the order of study elements to start, from the order of a plurality of study elements of the contents chapter, and the study termination range is used to set the order of study elements to be terminated, based on the study start range, and the number of instant remembrance is used to set the number of exposure for a remembrance study of each study element.
However, if it is determined that the check study is selected according to user's menu manipulation performed by the key inputting unit 10, in Operation S17, the microprocessor 20 allows the study DB memory 19 to be accessed and determines whether the contents of the check study are stored or not according to the contents chapter of the study contents.
If it is determined that the contents of the confirmation study are stored in the study DB memory 19, the microprocessor 20 allows the next operation to be performed and the check study to be performed in any one of the automatic partial concealment study mode and the manual partial concealment study mode.
After Operation S16 or S17, in Operation S18, the microprocessor 20 determines whether the automatic partial concealment study mode is selected or not according to user menu manipulation performed by the key inputting unit 10.
If it is determined that the user has selected the automatic partial concealment study mode, as illustrated in FIG. 8A, in Operation S19, the microprocessor 20 allows an exposure operation display item 44 of an automatic study to be displayed on the display unit 26 in the state where an "automatic study" display item 42 indicating the automatic partial concealment study mode is displayed on the display unit 26, and allows an exposure operation to be selectively controlled according to selection manipulation performed by the key inputting unit 10.
The exposure operation is an exposure time at which each study element of the contents chapter is exposed for the partial concealment study, and for example, if the exposure operation is set to a first operation, time at which each study element is concealed and exposed in the partial concealment study, is set to 10 seconds.
In that state, if setting of the automatic study and the exposure operation is completed, in Operation S20, the microprocessor 20 allows the automatic study to be performed in the partial concealment study manner from the study start range to the start termination range, where the study start range and the start termination range are previously set according to the set exposure operation.
Next, in Operation S21 , the microprocessor 20 determines whether the automatic study according to the automatic partial concealment study mode is terminated or not, and if it is determined that the study contents performed by setting the study range are completed or the automatic study is terminated by user's arbitrary manipulation during the study, in Operation S22, the microprocessor 20 allows the contents of the confirmation study for the study elements of the contents chapter in which the automatic study is performed, to be generated, the contents of the check study for the study elements checked by the user to be generated, and the contents of the confirmation study and the contents of the check study to be stored in the study DB memory 19. Meanwhile, if it is determined that key input manipulation for performing the automatic study is not performed by using the key inputting unit 10, in Operation S23, the microprocessor 20 determines whether the user has selected the manual partial concealment study mode for the manual study or not. If it is determined that the manual partial concealment study mode for the manual study is selected by a user's key input performed by the key inputting unit 10, as illustrated in FIG. 8B, in Operation S24, the microprocessor 20 allows an exposure operation display item 54 of a manual study to be displayed on the display unit 26 in the state where an "manual study" display item 52 indicating the manual partial concealment study mode is displayed on the display unit 26, and allows an exposure operation to be selectively controlled according to selection manipulation performed by the key inputting unit 10
In that state, if setting of the manual study and the exposure operation is completed, in Operation S25, the microprocessor 20 allows the manual study to be performed in the partial concealment study manner from the study start range to the start termination range, where the study start range and the start termination range are previously set according to the set exposure operation, and thus, movement of study elements included in the study range depends on manual manipulation by a user's key input performed by the key inputting unit 10.
Next, in Operation S26, the microprocessor 20 determines whether the manual study according to the manual partial concealment study mode is terminated or not, and if it is determined that the study contents performed by setting the study range are completed or the manual study is terminated by user's arbitrary manipulation during the study, in Operation S27, the microprocessor 20 allows the contents of the confirmation study for the study elements of the contents chapter in which the manual study is performed, to be generated, the contents of the check study for the study elements checked by the user to be generated, and the contents of the confirmation study and the contents of the check study to be stored in the study DB memory 19.
Meanwhile, when the automatic study or the manual study for study elements in the contents chapter is performed, a type of arrangement of a partial concealment study is classified into a right and left arrangement type in which a question and an answer are respectively disposed on the right and left of the display screen of the display unit 26, an upper and lower arrangement type in which a question and an answer are respectively disposed in upper and lower portions of the display screen of the display unit 26, and an upper and lower and right and left arrangement type in which four study elements each including a question and an answer are disposed on one display screen of the display unit 26 at a time. The upper and lower arrangement type is classified into a one-row arrangement type, a two-row arrangement type, and a three-row arrangement type.
In other words, according to the right and left arrangement type, in the case of a normal study in which a question is exposed and an answer is concealed, as illustrated in FIG. 9A, in the state where a study number display item 60 of a contents chapter, a study range proceeding display item 62, and an exposure time display item 64 according to settings of an exposure operation are respectively displayed, a question display item 66a in the state where the question is exposed, and an answer display item 68a in the state where the answer is concealed, are respectively displayed on the right and left of the display screen of the display unit 26, and a check display item 70a is displayed on a display region of the question display item 66a, and if the exposure time counted in the exposure time display item 64 elapses, the concealed answer of the answer display item 68a is exposed. If a check input is performed by the user, the check display item 70a is checked and displayed.
In contrary to this, as illustrated in FIG. 9B, in the case of a reverse study in which a question is concealed and an answer is exposed, a question display item 66b in the state where the question is concealed, and an answer display item 68b in the state where the answer is exposed, are respectively displayed on the right and left of the display screen of the display unit 26, and a check display item 70b is displayed on a display region of the answer display item 68b, and if the exposure time counted in an exposure time display item 64 elapses, the concealed question of the question display item 66b is exposed. If a check input is performed by the user, the check display item 70b is checked and displayed.
In addition, according to the upper and lower one-row arrangement type, as illustrated in FIG. 1OA, in the case of a normal study in which a question is exposed and an answer is concealed, in the state where a study number display item 61 of a contents chapter, a study range proceeding display item 62, and an exposure time display item 64 are respectively displayed, a question display item 72a in the state where the question is exposed, and an answer display item 74a in the state where the answer is concealed, are respectively displayed on upper and lower regions of the display screen of the display unit 26, and a check display item 76a is displayed on a display region of the question display item 72a, and if the exposure time counted in the exposure time display item 64 elapses, the concealed answer of the answer display item 74a is exposed. If a check input is performed by the user, the check display item 76a is checked and displayed.
In contrary to this, as illustrated in FIG. 1OB, in the case of a reverse study in which a question is concealed and an answer is exposed, a question display item 72b in the state where the question is concealed, and an answer display item 74b in the state where the answer is exposed, are respectively displayed on upper and lower regions of the display screen of the display unit 26, and a check display item 76b is displayed on a display region of the answer display item 74b, and if the exposure time counted in an exposure time display item 64 elapses, the concealed question of the question display item 72b is exposed. If a check input is performed by the user, the check display item 76b is checked and displayed.
The upper and lower one-row arrangement type may be applied to the case when the number of letters of a question or an answer is large or a sentence is long. In addition, according to the upper and lower two-row arrangement type, in the case of a normal study in which a question is exposed and an answer is concealed, as illustrated in FIG. 11A, in the state where a study number display item 60 of a contents chapter, a study range proceeding display item 62, and an exposure time display item 64 are respectively displayed, a question display item 78a in the state where the question is exposed, and an answer display item 80a in the state where the answer is concealed, are respectively displayed on upper and lower regions of the display screen of the display unit 26, and a check display item 82a is displayed on a display region of the question display item 78a, and if the exposure time counted in the exposure time display item 64 elapses, the concealed answer of the answer display item 80a is exposed, and a two-row display item 83a including contents related to the question and the answer is simultaneously displayed on a lower display region of the question display item 78a. Additional description parts of a predetermined question or answer (e.g., in the case of Chinese character, description of the meanings of Chinese characters or the number of letters of a Chinese character, and in the case of Japanese words, indication of reading Chinese character phonetically or Korean reading of a Chinese character, hiragana, katakana) as the contents of the two-row display item 83a, are mainly displayed.
In contrary to this, as illustrated in FIG. 11 B, in the case of a reverse study in which a question is concealed and an answer is exposed, a question display item 78b in the state where the question is concealed, and an answer display item 80b in the state where the answer is exposed, are respectively displayed on upper and lower regions of the display screen of the display unit 26, and a check display item 82b is displayed on a display region of the answer display item 80b, and if an exposure time counted in an exposure time display item 64 elapses, the concealed question of the question display item 78b is exposed, and a two-row display item 83b is simultaneously displayed on a lower region of the answer display item 80b. If a check input is performed by the user, the check display item 82b is checked and displayed.
Also, according to the upper and lower and right and left arrangement type, study elements including a question and an answer are displayed in units of four bundles of blocks, and at least two or more study elements may be simultaneously displayed on a one display screen of the display unit 26.
In other words, as illustrated in FIG. 12A, in the case of a normal study in which a question is exposed and an answer is concealed, in the state where a study number display item 60 of a contents chapter, a study range proceeding display item 62, an exposure time display item 64 are respectively displayed, a question display item 84a in the state where the question is exposed, is displayed on a one block (i.e., a left upper block) from among four bundles of blocks, and an answer display item 86a in the state where the answer is concealed, is displayed on the other blocks, and a check display item 96 is displayed on a display region 84a of the question display item 84a, and if an exposure time counted in the exposure time display item 64 elapses, the concealed answer of the answer display item 86a is exposed, and an additional display item 89a is displayed on a partial display block (i.e., a right lower block) of the answer display item 86a.
In contrary to this, as illustrated in FIG. 12B, in the case of a reverse study in which a question is concealed and an answer is exposed, an answer display item 86b in the state where the answer is exposed, is displayed on a block from among the four bundles of blocks is displayed, and a question display item 88b in the state where the question is concealed, is displayed on the other blocks, and a check display item 88b is displayed on a display region of the answer display item 86b, and if an exposure time counted in an exposure time display item 64 elapses, the concealed question of the question display item 88b is exposed, and an additional display item 89b is displayed on a partial display block (i.e., a right lower block) of the question display item 88b.
In addition, according to the upper and lower three-row arrangement type, in the case of a normal study in which a question is exposed and an answer is concealed, as illustrated in FIG. 13A, in the state where a study number display item 60 of a contents chapter, a study range proceeding display item 62, and an exposure time display item 64 are respectively displayed, a three-row display item 90 that indicates contents related to a question and an answer in an exposed state, a question display item 92a in the state where the question is exposed, and an answer display item 94a in the state where the answer is concealed, are respectively displayed on upper and lower regions of the display screen of the display unit 26 in three rows, and a check display item 96 is displayed on a display region of the question display item 92a, and if an exposure time counted in the exposure time display item 64 elapses, the concealed answer of the answer display item 94a is concealed.
In contrary to this, as illustrated in FIG. 13B, in the case of a reverse study in which a question is concealed and an answer is exposed, a three-row display item 90, a question display item 92b in the state where a question is concealed, and an answer display item 94b in the state where an answer is exposed, are respectively displayed on upper and lower regions of the display screen of the display unit 26 in three rows, and a check display item 96 is displayed on a display region of the question display item 92b, and if an exposure time counted in the exposure time display item 64 elapses, the concealed question of the question display item 92b is exposed. If a check input is performed by the user, the check display item 96 is checked and displayed.
The upper and lower three-row arrangement type may be applied to a contents chapter such as physics, biology, earth sciences, or English grammar for the national college entrance examination, or study contents in which subjects for small units of the contents chapter or chapter objectives need to be always displayed.
Meanwhile, in the case of the confirmation study, as illustrated in FIG. 14, in the state where a question display item 98 is displayed on the display screen of the display unit 26, an example display item 100 that indicates four multi-choice examples for a predetermined question, is represented, and scores are given depending on whether a correct answer is selected from among the examples.
While the present invention has been particularly shown and described with reference to exemplary embodiments thereof, it will be understood by those of ordinary skill in the art that various changes in form and details may be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention as defined by the following claims.
Industrial Applicability
According to the present invention described above, studying is performed based on partial concealment of study information by which a question and an answer in the field that is selected by a user from study contents in various study fields are partially concealed and exposed, and questions that are checked by the user during a studying operation, are separately differentiated from unchecked questions so that a check study can be performed. If the studying procedure is completed, a confirmation study for the studying procedure can be performed so that a stereoscopic and polygonal study in consideration of a human remembrance characteristic can be performed, study contents can be remembered for a long time, the efficiency of study can be greatly improved, the user can easily check vulnerable points of the study contents by performing the check study and the confirmation study, a study for preparing thereof may be accompanied, the vulnerable points are concentratively studied and can be well supplemented. Furthermore, any one of a question and an answer can be selectively and partially concealed so that inquiry contents of a question and an answer can be solved without giving hints, the effect of the study can be improved, an ability for adapting various questions is cultivated by derivation of an answer according to a question and reverse presumption of a question according to an answer, and thinking about adaptation can be planed and the effect of the study can be actively doubled.

Claims

What is claimed is:
1. A method of studying based on partial concealment of study information, the method comprising: if a study of predetermined study contents selected from among a plurality of study contents according to at least one or more study fields is requested by user's input manipulation performed by a user inputting unit, loading study information about the requested study contents from a database (DB), wherein the loading is performed by a control unit; setting study settings of the study information about the study contents that are loaded by the control unit, according to a user's selection input performed by the user inputting unit; performing a partial concealment study in which a question and an answer for each study question of the study contents are selectively and partially concealed and exposed based on the study settings, wherein the performing of the partial concealment study is performed by the control unit; and if the partial concealment study for the study question of the study contents is terminated, generating study result information about the study question and recording and storing the generated study information in the DB.
2. The method of claim 1 , wherein, in the setting of the study settings, the study settings comprise at least one of the group consisting of settings of a study start range and a study termination range for contents chapters and small units of the study contents, and settings of the number of remembrance that is used to set the number of exposure for a remembrance study of the study question.
3. The method of claim 1 , wherein, in the setting of the study settings, the study settings comprise selections of a portion to be concealed, from among a normal study for answer presumption in which an answer is concealed and exposed in the state where a question is exposed, and a reverse study of answer reverse presumption in which a question is concealed and exposed in the state where an answer is exposed, and wherein, in the performing of the partial concealment study, selective partial concealment of the question and the answer is performed according to selections of the portion to be concealed.
4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the performing of the partial concealment study comprises performing an automatic study in which the study question of the study contents is automatically moved to the next study question and is exposed in units of a predetermined amount of time.
5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the performing of the partial concealment study comprises performing a manual study in which the study question of the study contents is manually moved to the next study question and is exposed depending on user's manual manipulation performed by the user inputting unit.
6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the performing of the partial concealment study further comprises checking a desired study question by a user's input performed by the user inputting unit in the state where the partial concealment study in which a question and an answer for each study question of the study contents are selectively and partially concealed and exposed, is performed, and wherein, in the generating of the study result information and the recording and storing of the generated study result information, the study result information comprises contents of a check study for a study question that is checked by the user during the partial concealment study.
7. The method of claim 1 , wherein, in the generating of the study result information and recording and storing of the generated study result information, the study result information comprises contents of a confirmation study for giving questions of a predetermined study so as to check degree of a study with respect to the study question of the study contents in which the partial concealment study is terminated.
8. A method of studying based on partial concealment of study information, the method comprising: if a study of predetermined study contents selected from among a plurality of study contents according to at least one or more study fields is requested by user's input manipulation performed by a user inputting unit, loading study information about the requested study contents from a database (DB), wherein the loading is performed by a control unit; setting study settings of the study information about the study contents that are loaded by the control unit, according to a user's selection input performed by the user inputting unit; performing a partial concealment study in which a question and an answer for each study question of the study contents are selectively and partially concealed and exposed based on the study settings, while the study question of the study contents is automatically moved to the next study question and is exposed in units of a predetermined amount of time, wherein the performing of the partial concealment study is performed by the control unit; and if the partial concealment study for the study question of the study contents is terminated, generating study result information about the study question and recording and storing the generated study information in the DB.
9. A method of studying based on partial concealment of study information, the method comprising: if a study of predetermined study contents selected from among a plurality of study contents according to at least one or more study fields is requested by user's input manipulation performed by a user inputting unit, loading study information about the requested study contents from a database (DB), wherein the loading is performed by a control unit; setting study settings of the study information about the study contents that are loaded by the control unit, according to a user's selection input performed by the user inputting unit; performing a partial concealment study in which a question and an answer for each study question of the study contents are selectively and partially concealed and exposed based on the study settings, while the study question of the study contents is manually moved to the next study question and is exposed depending on user's manual manipulation performed by the user inputting unit, wherein the performing of the partial concealment study is performed by the control unit; and if the partial concealment study for the study question of the study contents is terminated, generating study result information about the study question and recording and storing the generated study information in the DB.
10. The method of claim 8 or 9, wherein, in the setting of the study settings, the study settings comprise at least one of the group consisting of settings of a study start range and a study termination range for contents chapters and small units of the study contents, settings of the number of remembrance that is used to set the number of exposure for a remembrance study of the study question, selections of a portion to be concealed, from among a normal study for answer presumption in which an answer is concealed and exposed in the state where a question is exposed, and a reverse study of answer reverse presumption in which a question is concealed and exposed in the state where an answer is exposed.
11. The method of claim 8 or 9, wherein, in the performing of the partial concealment study, a type of arrangement of study questions to be displayed on a display screen for the partial concealment study comprises at least one of the group consisting of a right and left arrangement type in which a question and an answer are respectively disposed on right and left of the display screen, an upper and lower arrangement type in which a question and an answer are respectively disposed in upper and lower portions of the display screen, and an upper and lower and right and left arrangement type in which four study elements each including a question and an answer are disposed on one display screen at a time.
12. The method of claim 11 , wherein, in the performing of the partial concealment study, the upper and lower arrangement type comprises at least one of the group consisting of a one-row arrangement type in which a question and an answer of the study question are respectively disposed in upper and lower portions of the display screen in one row, a two-row arrangement type in which the question and the answer of the study question and a two-row display item that is dependent on a display region of the question and the answer and comprises contents related to the question and the answer, are respectively disposed in the upper and lower portions of the display screen in two rows, and a three-row arrangement type in which the question and the answer of the study question and a three-row display item in which contents related to the question and the answer are always exposed and displayed, are respectively disposed in the upper and lower portions of the display screen in three rows.
13. The method of claim 8 or 9, wherein, in the generating of the study result information and recording and storing of the generated study result information, the study result information comprises at least one of the group consisting of contents of a check study for a study question that is checked by the user during the partial concealment study and contents of a confirmation study for giving questions of a predetermined study so as to check degree of a study with respect to the study question of the study contents in which the partial concealment study is terminated.
14. A system for studying based on partial concealment of study information, the system comprising: a user inputting unit performing a key input for a partial concealment study; a database (DB) in which data of study contents according to at least one more study fields are stored, a program driven so as to perform the partial concealment study of the study contents is stored and loading of the previously-stored data of the study contents and processing of data generated during the partial concealment study are performed; a control unit controlling the system so as to perform the partial concealment study in which a question and an answer of each study question of the study contents are selectively and partially concealed and exposed, according to user input manipulation performed by the user inputting unit; and a display unit displaying a study screen of the partial concealment study under display control performed by the control unit.
15. The system of claim 14, further comprising a data input/output unit performing an interface function for data input/output with respect to data related to the study contents with an external device.
16. The system of claim 14, wherein contents of a check study for a study question that is checked by the user during the partial concealment study, and contents of a confirmation study for giving questions of a predetermined study so as to check degree of a study with respect to the study question of the study contents in which the partial concealment study is terminated, are stored in the DB, and wherein the control unit controls the system so as to generate the contents of the confirmation study and the contents of the check study and to store the generated contents of the confirmation study and the generated contents of the check study after the partial concealment study of the study contents is terminated.
17. A portable unit having a function of studying based on partial concealment of study information, the portable unit comprising: a key inputting unit performing a setting key inputting function of setting a study method for a partial concealment study of study contents and a key inputting function of performing a study for each study question of the study contents; a contents memory in which a database (DB) of the study contents according to at least one or more study fields is constituted; a program memory in which a system operating a program of the portable unit and an execution program for performing the partial concealment study are stored; a data memory in which data generated during the partial concealment study of the study contents are temporarily stored; a microprocessor controlling the portable unit so as to load the study contents from the contents memory and to perform the partial concealment study in which a question and an answer of each study question of the study contents are selectively and partially concealed and exposed, according to user input manipulation performed by the key inputting unit; a character processing unit performing a graphic character generating process of selectively and partially concealing or exposing a question or an answer of a study question for the partial concealment study of the study contents under control performed by the microprocessor; and a display unit displaying a graphic character of the selective partial concealment study for the question and the answer of the study question that is generated and processed by the character processing unit while displaying the study contents loaded from the contents memory according to control performed by the microprocessor.
18. The portable unit of claim 17, wherein the contents memory comprises a detachable card information recording medium in which at least one or more study contents are stored, the portable unit further comprising: a card information processing unit performing a card reading function of reading and performing study contents stored in the contents memory card in the form of the card information recording medium, and a card recording function of recording and storing the study contents to be added, in a memory card.
19. The portable unit of claim 17, further comprising a study DB memory in which contents of a check study for a study question that is checked by the user during the partial concealment study, and contents of a confirmation study for giving questions of a predetermined study so as to check degree of a study with respect to the study question of the study contents in which the partial concealment study is terminated, are stored, wherein the microprocessor controls the portable unit so as to generate the contents of the confirmation study and the contents of the check study and to store the generated contents of the confirmation study and the generated contents of the check study in the DB after the partial concealment study of the study contents is terminated.
20. The portable unit of claim 17, further comprising an input/output interface performing an interface function for data input/output with respect to data related to the study contents with an external device.
