Abstract

La présente invention concerne la localisation d'appareils disposés à l'intérieur d'un bâtiment. Les appareils sont pourvus d'étiquettes radio, sur lesquelles sont mémorisées des données concernant les appareils, et qui émettent uniquement dans une gamme prédéfinie. Un dispositif de localisation comprend : un module de réception, destiné à recevoir des données correspondant à un appareil, à partir d'une étiquette radio, l'étiquette radio étant rapportée contre l'appareil, et l'appareil se trouvant caché dans un local du bâtiment; un module de détermination de données de position, pour détecter la position de l'appareil dans le local; et un module de gestion de données pour caractériser la position de l'appareil, sous la forme d'au moins une coordonnées d'un système de coordonnée, et pour mémoriser la position ainsi caractérisée, à l'aide des données correspondant à l'appareil. Le système de coordonnées est alors rapporté à au moins une surface du local. La présente invention permet une localisation flexible, exhaustive et rapide d'appareils qui sont cachés dans un bâtiment, et peut être utilisée par exemple en liaison avec l'installation, l'entretien et la gestion des stocks de ces appareils.
