- the present invention relates to a well plate with a cap combined with a plate member.
- a well plate in which a plurality of wells are regularly arranged has been used in order to store a large number of samples used in instruments such as various chromatographic autosamplers and microplate readers.
- the well plate is a cap plate in which a plurality of caps for individually sealing each well are arranged corresponding to the arrangement of the wells in order to prevent evaporation of the solvent and mixing of foreign substances when storing the contained sample.
- the well plate in order to efficiently sample with the sampling needle, the well plate preferably sucks the sample by passing the sampling needle through the cap well, and is made of silicon rubber or the like.
- a sample is accommodated in each well, and a cap plate is arranged at a predetermined position on the well, and the well is closed by the cap by pushing from above.
- This occlusion increases the internal pressure of the well by pushing the cap or the evaporation of the sample, thereby gradually increasing the internal pressure and pushing up the cap.
- the pushing up and opening of the cap causes problems such as hindering the operation of the autosampler due to the displacement of the cap position and changes in the sample concentration due to evaporation of the sample solvent.
- a multi-well plate for storing samples which is a multi-well plate for freezing and storing samples, and the lid used has an internal lid made of an elastomer sheet (
- the multiwell plate cover and assembly also includes a lid and a gasket, the lid has spring means essential for the force applied uniformly to the face of the gasket to seal the multiwell plate, and the lid is mechanical

- a lid for the multi-well plate body having at least one channel formed therethrough, the lid positioned adjacent to the gasket member, and the channel positioned to draw the gasket toward the lid
- a configuration has been proposed that includes applying sufficient negative pressure, placing a lid on the multi-well plate body and releasing the negative pressure from the channel while the negative pressure continues to be applied to the channel (e.g., (See Patent Document 3).
- Patent Document 4 can suppress an increase in internal pressure caused by pushing an independent cap into each well from above, but the work of fitting caps one by one to each well is extremely complicated. Is not efficient.
- the problem of cap lifting and removal can be reduced to some extent by increasing the length of the cap.
- the internal volume of the well is reduced, which is not preferable.
- the present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems of conventional well plates with caps, and can be closed with a cap with a simple configuration. After the well plate is closed with a cap plate member, the cap plate member is a well plate.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a well plate with a cap which is less likely to float from the plate.

- the longitudinal groove has a semicircular cross section.
- the longitudinal groove has a triangular cross section.
- the length of the longitudinal groove is not less than 1/2 of the height of the cap and not more than 9/10.
- the surface of the cap is coated with ethylene trifluoride or tetrafluoroethylene.
- the second invention is A well plate with a cap formed by combining a well member provided with a plurality of wells and a flexible cap plate member in which a plurality of caps individually closing each well are arranged corresponding to the arrangement of the wells.
- the inner diameter and the outer diameter of the cap are formed so that the inner diameter of the well is smaller than the outer diameter of the cap so that the cap can be pushed into the well, and the cap member is integrally formed by connecting a plurality of caps by the plate portion,
- the cap has an opening at the upper end, a lower bottom formed so that a needle can be inserted, and a longitudinal groove extending from the lower end to the intermediate height on the outer surface,
- a method of closing a well plate with a cap wherein the cap plate member is disposed on the well member, and the well is closed with a cap by pressing the cap plate with a roller.
- the well plate with a cap of the present invention it is possible to close the cap with a simple structure, and to obtain an effect that the cap plate member is not lifted from the well plate after the well plate is closed by the cap plate member. it can. According to the present invention, it is also possible to obtain an effect of configuring a well plate with a cap that can effectively use the internal volume of the well.
- FIG. 1 It is a perspective view of the well member of the well plate with a cap of one form of the present invention. It is the perspective view seen from the front side of the cap plate member of the well plate with a cap of one form of the present invention. Abstract
