Abstract
Description
図1及び図2は、本発明の実施の形態1による携帯情報端末の概略構成の一例を示した斜視図であり、携帯情報端末の一例として折り畳み式の携帯電話機1が示されている。図1には、表示筐体2のディスプレイ3を縦長状態にした様子が示され、図2には、表示筐体2を回転させてディスプレイ3を横長状態にした様子が示されている。
図3は、図1の携帯電話機1の構成例を示した図であり、縦長状態のディスプレイ3上に表示されるサムネイル画面3aの一例が示されている。サムネイル画面3aは、多数のサムネイル11が配列されたメニュー画面であり、仮想空間において同一方向に向けて立体配置されたサムネイル11が斜め方向から見ているように表示されている。
図5(a)~(c)は、図1の携帯電話機1におけるサムネイル画面3aの表示時の動作の一例を模式的に示した説明図であり、スクロール時の画面遷移の様子が示されている。所定の操作キー6を操作すれば、表示中のサムネイル11を仮想空間内でz軸方向に移動させてサムネイル画面3aをスクロールさせることができる。
実施の形態1では、サムネイル画面3a上のポインタ14を移動させてサムネイル11が選択される場合の例について説明した。これに対して、本実施の形態では、サムネイル画面3aを直接にタッチ操作することによってサムネイル11が選択される場合について説明する。

Claims (7)
- 仮想空間内に多数のサムネイル画像を同一方向に向けて立体配置し、これらのサムネイル画像を斜め方向から見ているようにメニュー画面上に表示するサムネイルメニュー表示手段と、
パッド面に対するスライド操作を検出するスライド操作検出手段と、
上記スライド操作に基づいて、上記メニュー画面上でポインタを移動させるポインタ表示手段と、
ユーザによる決定操作に基づいて、上記ポインタが位置するサムネイル画像を選択するサムネイル選択手段とを備えたことを特徴とする携帯情報端末。 - 表示中のサムネイル画像を上記仮想空間内で前後方向に移動させて上記メニュー画面をスクロールさせるメニュー画面スクロール手段を備え、
上記サムネイルメニュー表示手段が、最後段のサムネイル画像の背後に最前段のサムネイル画像を表示することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の携帯情報端末。 - 上記メニュー画面が表示されるディスプレイと、
上記ディスプレイが縦長状態であるか、或いは、横長状態であるかを判別する端末状態判別手段とを備え、
上記サムネイルメニュー表示手段が、上記端末状態判別手段による判別結果に基づいて前後段のサムネイル画像間の間隔を調整することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の携帯情報端末。 - 上記サムネイルメニュー表示手段が、ユーザ操作に基づいて、最前段に表示中のサムネイル画像をサイズ調整することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の携帯情報端末。
- 上記サムネイルメニュー表示手段が、共通の背景プレートをそれぞれ付加して各サムネイル画像を表示する際に、最前段に表示中のサムネイル画像については上記背景プレートの中央に配置し、2段目以降に表示中のサムネイル画像については上記背景プレートの端部に寄せて配置することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の携帯情報端末。
- 上記サムネイル選択手段によって選択されたサムネイル画像をフォーカス表示するフォーカス表示手段を備え、
上記サムネイルメニュー表示手段は、フォーカス表示されたサムネイル画像が手前側に来るように視点を変更することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の携帯情報端末。 - 仮想空間内に多数のサムネイル画像を同一方向に向けて立体配置し、これらのサムネイル画像を斜め方向から見ているようにメニュー画面上に表示するサムネイルメニュー表示手段と、
上記メニュー画面に対するタッチ操作を検出するタッチ操作検出手段と、
上記タッチ操作の検出結果に基づいて、サムネイル画像を選択するサムネイル選択手段とを備えたことを特徴とする携帯情報端末。
