Definitions
- the invention relates to a bottle for a liquid or pasty cosmetic product, comprising an applicator element provided with an applicator which is engaged, outside the periods of application of the product, in a tubular container containing the product to be applied; it applies in particular, but not exclusively, to mascara bottles, or even to bottles of gloss.
- bottles in particular mascara bottles, comprise a wiper provided near the neck of the bottle (in practice on the tank), which is intended to retain the excess of product taken by the applicator during its dive. in the tank.
- the applicator element includes in practice a cap on which the user acts to manipulate the mascara applicator.
- the fact that the mascara is liquid or pasty means that effective sealing must be performed outside the periods of application of mascara, when the cap is engaged on the neck of the bottle; this seal is in practice obtained by screwing or clipping the cap on the neck of the bottle.
- the cap is an element that forms a substantial part of the outer surface of a closed-set mascara bottle, and that combined movements or significant efforts may have to be made to open the bottle prior to an action. application of mascara.
- EP-1 721 543 describes various cosmetic product containers including a mascara bottle (see FIGS. 18-24) comprising:
- An elastically compressible device with two stable recoil positions disposed between the body and the reservoir and whose two stable axial recoil positions define the two low and high stable positions of the reservoir,
- An applicator element comprising a rod terminated by an applicator adapted to be loaded with mascara, this applicator element having a rest configuration in which a part of the rod and the applicator are contained in the reservoir so as to allow to the applicator to be loaded with mascara, and being able to be completely out of the tank and the bottle, "a cap secured to the rod of the applicator element and adapted to engage inside the body, the stable axial recoil configurations of the elastically compressible device being such that when the applicator element is in its rest configuration in the reservoir, the cap is retracted into the body flush with the free edge of the body, or it is less partially protruding out of this body,
- a wiper provided at the outlet of the reservoir so that the applicator passes through it when it enters the reservoir or when it is extracted from it
- Such a configuration is simple and reliable to use without significant risk of inadvertent opening, while allowing a very clean aesthetic, and without leading to a crippling obstruction.
- the retraction of the cap in the body of the bottle allows the aesthetics of the bottle is essentially defined by this body, while the presence of the elastically compressible device with two stable recoil positions allows a simple movement of depression the cap, transmitted to the tank, causes the passage of this device from a recoil position to another, and causes either the retraction of this cap (and there is very little risk that this cap is released unexpectedly out of the body), that is the projecting part of this cap which is sufficient to allow the seizure of this projecting portion between the fingers of a user and its extraction from the body to proceed to the application of the product taken by the applicator (this which requires the user only simple movements, with one hand).
- the axial distance over which the cap projects in a high stable position relative to the body must be sufficient to allow a gripping by a user, whereas this distance is equal to the axial distance between the high and low positions.
- the elastically compressible device; the stroke of this elastically compressible device must be so much more important that we want to facilitate this seizure.
- the additional sealing elements consist of a protrusion carried by the rod between the cap and the applicator, and hooking claws provided on the neck of the tank: in the low configuration of the reservoir, these claws are radially held by the inner wall of the body so as to remain engaged on this protuberance, while the high position of the reservoir is such that the claws are outside the body volume, sort of able to deviate radially and release the protuberance.
- the object of the invention is to overcome at least some of the aforementioned drawbacks. It thus relates to a bottle for a liquid or pasty cosmetic product comprising an applicator element and a reservoir adapted to contain this product and to receive in a sealed manner a part of the applicator element when it is in a configuration of rest, this tank being movable under the action of an elastically compressible device with two stable recoil configurations, and this bottle being simple and reliable in use with a construction that allows to freely choose the axial dimensions of the various components, regardless of the stroke of this elastically compressible device and the force of the spring thus implemented and which allows a holding of the tank in the high position which is sufficient to ensure that the application element can enter and leave the reservoir (especially in the case a bottle of mascara equipped with a wiper) without this one goes down as long as the user does not wish to close the vial.
- the subject of the invention is a bottle for a liquid or pasty cosmetic product comprising an application element and a reservoir adapted to contain this product and to receive a part of the application element.
- a bottle for a liquid or pasty cosmetic product comprising an application element and a reservoir adapted to contain this product and to receive a part of the application element.
- a bottle for a liquid or pasty cosmetic product comprising: an elongate body, extending in a longitudinal direction, provided with a bottom zone and a free edge, a reservoir containing this product and movable in translation in the body between a low rest position close to the bottom zone and a high working position close to the free edge, this reservoir comprising a neck, an elastically compressible guide device, located between the body and the tank, having a stable retracted configuration determining the low rest position of the tank and a maximum extension configuration determining the high working position of this tank, the passage of the device from one to the other of these configurations is retracting beyond the retracted stable position against a spring, the device comprising, distributed on the body and the reservoir, on the one hand a track created use guide disposed substantially in the longitudinal direction of the body and secondly a follower finger engaged in this hollow guiding track, at least when the device is in its maximum extension configuration, an application element comprising a solid rod a cap and terminate
- the presence of the elastic element which tends to prevent the follower pin from its position in which the tank is in its upper working position, has the advantage that it is no longer necessary to size the spring so that it can ensure this maintenance.
- this elastic element is reported allows to achieve a material independent of the one chosen for the body or the reservoir; it can also be changed during the service life of the bottle.
- the fact that this elastic element is attached also has the advantage that it can be chosen for a body and for a given reservoir, depending on the product contained in the reservoir and depending on the resistance offered by a possible wiper at the passage of the applicator, and therefore depending on the consistency and geometry of this applicator.
- the applicator element and the reservoir comprise complementary elements adapted to couple this element to this reservoir during the stroke of the latter from its low rest position to its upper work position, so as to allow an extraction force applied to the cap of the applicator element causes a movement of the reservoir towards its upper working position; it follows that the dimensioning of the spring does not need to be sufficient to bring the tank in its upper working position; it is sufficient that this spring is sufficient to push the reservoir a sufficient distance for the cap to provide sufficient grip to allow the continuation of its extraction by the user.
- the follower pin remains engaged in the hollow guide track when the elastically compressible guide device passes from one of its configurations to the other, this hollow guiding track comprising a heart-shaped portion with a W-shaped zone. whose central portion determines said stable retracted configuration and which can be traversed by the follower finger only in one direction; it follows that the hollow guiding track and the follower pin serve not only for guiding, but also for the definition of the stable retracted configuration. As a variant, this definition is ensured by different elements of this guide track and the follower pin, for example by elements similar to those described in EP-1 721 453 with regard to FIGS. 11 to 13.
- This heart-shaped portion comprises, axially opposite the W-shaped zone, a pointed zone in which the follower pin may, in one embodiment, be located when the elastically compressible guide device is in its position. maximum extension; however, preferably, this heart-shaped zone is at a distance from the region of this hollow guide track in which the follower finger is engaged when the device is in its maximum extension configuration; this makes it possible to size the hollow guiding track by dissociating the constraints related to the definition of the high position jointly with the elastic element and those related to those concerning the definition of the low retracted configuration; in addition, the heart-shaped portion may itself be dimensioned independently of the desired stroke for the reservoir between its high and low positions.
- the portion of the track defining the high working position of the reservoir, together with the elastic element and the follower pin is a drop-shaped portion whose tip is oriented towards the tip of the shape. of heart ; preferably, the drop-shaped portion comprises, at its junction with the rest of the guide track, a flank forcing the finger to follow a branch of the drop shape which is different from the branch where the elastic element constitutes a braking means,
- the elastic member may brake the passage of the follower finger in the corresponding direction, in case the tank leaves its high position towards its low position.
- the hollow guiding track may, between the heart-shaped and drop-shaped portions, comprise a single longitudinal portion adapted to be traversed by the follower pin in both directions, or on the contrary comprise two parallel longitudinal branches adapted to be traversed. each in one direction (these portions have, in this case, no peak areas). But it is simpler and more compact to provide a single portion of two-way track.
- the elastic element attached is an elastic plate, preferably metal, reported which is disposed near a lateral side of this track so that said passage of the finger causes a deformation of the blade. It is understood that, if the guide track is, in its region where the follower pin is engaged in the high configuration of the reservoir, a simple portion in two directions, such an elastic element ensures braking of the passage of the finger, not only when the tank leaves its high position, but also when it arrives there.
- the follower finger is advantageously carried by the end of a generally longitudinal arm, allowing the finger to follow the curves of the hollow guiding track; this arm can be articulated or flexible; it is advantageously arranged to be stressed in compression when the elastically compressible device is in its retracted stable configuration.
- the elastic element can also be a U-shaped member whose branches are oriented longitudinally being configured to forming between them a space that can receive the follower finger, while defining, opposite the bottom of the U with respect to this space, a constriction that can not to be crossed by the finger, from this space towards the outside of the U, only by a separation of these branches caused by this finger.
- this U-shaped piece is engaged in a recess provided in recess with respect to the bottom of the track and provided with a connection ramp to the remainder of this bottom, so that the follower finger can slide on the branches. until it snaps into the space provided in the U-shaped part, when the tank approaches its upper working position, whereas, when the tank is urged towards its lower rest position, the finger must pass through this constriction by spreading the branches to be able, thanks to the ramp, to join the bottom of the track.
- the attached elastic element formed by a blade disposed on one side of the guide track or formed by a U-shaped part, is advantageously an elastic element capable of deforming parallel to the walls of the tank and the body transversely to the longitudinal direction of the latter.
- the follower finger is advantageously carried by an elastic blade pressing the finger towards the bottom of the hollow guiding track.
- the reported elastic element constituting a hard point carries the follower finger.
- this follower finger can be carried by an elastic blade pressing the follower finger towards the bottom of the hollow guiding track; in such a case, the U-shaped part engaged in a recessed recess with respect to the bottom of the track may be replaced by an insert having a recess adapted to receive, by snapping, the follower pin in the tank top position, while the follower finger may comprise a ramp forming side to allow it to exit the hollow in case of substantial effort to force the tank to leave its upper position; in another embodiment, this follower pin is connected to a support, for example a generally longitudinal arm by a flexible connection zone, whereby this follower finger can tilt longitudinally so as to escape to the hollow of the room
- the hollow guiding track is integral with the body and the follower pin is integral with the reservoir
- the body comprises a tube and an attached cage, the track hollow guide being formed in this insert cage, the cage insert having the shape of a sleeve having a longitudinal slot for allowing the lateral penetration of the reservoir into the internal volume of this sheath, before placing this insert in the tube,
- the spring, the hollow guide track and the follower finger are disposed between the side walls of the body and the reservoir,
- the rod comprises a protuberance comprising, in the direction of the applicator, a sealing portion and, in the direction of the cap, a transverse range
- the reservoir comprises, below its neck, a narrowing forming a seat adapted to receive in axial stop the sealing portion and, beyond its neck, a collar formed along its circumference, a plurality of rigid sectors and elastic sectors, this collar having a relaxed configuration in which it has a bulk greater than the internal section of the body and a restricted configuration in which it is confined inside this body, the rigid sectors including, along the inner edge of this flange, flanges adapted to come into axial abutment against the transverse scope of the protuberance so as to maintain the sealing portion against shrinkage when the application element is in its rest configuration, * at least the rigid sectors of the flange further comprise external flanges bearing against the inner wall of the body for maintaining the flange in its restricted configuration inside the body,
- the flange is connected by a skirt also formed of rigid or flexible portions, capping the shrinkage of the tank, * the shrinkage is part of a part attached to the reservoir which comprises, towards the interior of the tank, a lip of spinning
- the sealing means comprise a protrusion of the aforementioned type, formed on the rod of the applicator element, and the boss, or rice grains, formed in a cavity of the reservoir, adapted to to be crossed by the protuberance when the application element is engaged in charging configuration in the reservoir, and to maintain this protuberance against its seat, as long as this application element remains in this recharge configuration; thus these bosses contribute to a good coupling of the reservoir and the application element as the tank is not in its upper working position,
- the sealing portion of the protrusion comprises a seal for example reported.

- Figure 19 is an elevational view of yet another embodiment of a bottle according to the invention, having another type of sealing means.
- the bottle of FIG. 1, represented by the general reference 1, is a mascara bottle which mainly comprises:
- a reservoir 20 containing mascara comprising a bottom 21 and a neck 22, and adapted to be entirely contained in the body being able to move therein in translation between a low rest position and an upper work position,
- an applicator element comprising a rod 31 terminated by an applicator 32 adapted to be loaded with product when it is immersed in the reservoir in a refilling configuration with respect to this reservoir in which the rod passes through the neck 22 of this reservoir ,
- the body may be formed of one or more parts integral with each other; in the example considered here this body comprises a tube 1 OA of any section (circular, rectangular, polygonal or other), open at both ends, and a cage-forming insert 10B intended to be put in place, permanently, in the lower part of this tube, in particular to materialize a bottom face for this tube; this cage here comprises a longitudinal slot 14 and longitudinal slots 15.
- the body may be formed of a single piece, for example obtained by molding.
- An elastically compressible guiding device is interposed between the body 10A + 10B and the reservoir 20.
- This device comprises: a spring 61 disposed between two respective bearing surfaces of the body
- the hollow guide track 64 is here carried by the body, more precisely by the insert 10B while the follower pin 65 is carried by the reservoir. However, it is understood that the situations can be reversed, not shown variant.
- This hollow guiding track 64 comprises two end portions 64A and 64B, each having a wedge zone intended to constitute a stable position for the follower pin. More precisely, these two corner zones are oriented in the same direction, one, 64A, of these extreme portions comprising a W-shaped zone whose central portion forms the corresponding corner zone; the spring 61 is arranged so as to urge the follower finger towards one or other of these corner zones; this will be detailed with reference to Figures 2 and 3.
- the follower pin 65 is preferably mounted at the end of an arm 65A, generally oriented parallel to the longitudinal direction of the bottle, and the other end 65B is articulated on the portion which carries the follower finger.
- the end 65B of the arm is bent so as to be articulated under the bottom 21 of the tank.
- the follower finger is urged by this reservoir towards the outside, which explains why the zones A and B of the hollow guiding track which define this follower finger stable positions are oriented (that is to say they point) outward; in the case where the follower finger is carried by the body while the hollow guiding track is carried by the reservoir, the corner areas of the hollow guiding track should be oriented towards the bottom of the body.
- FIGS. 2 and 3 The detail of the hollow guiding track is given by FIGS. 2 and 3. It is understood that, when the follower pin is in the corner zone of the portion 64A, indicated by the letter A, it is in a stable position, so that the reservoir remains stably in a stable configuration maximum depression, while, when the finger is in the corner area of the portion 64B marked by the letter B, the reservoir is in a stable configuration of minimum depression.
- the finger admits at least one other low position, defining for the reservoir a recess configuration greater than that defined by the letter A (these low positions, denoted C and C, are situated at the base of the two Vs forming the aforementioned W-zone; but it is an unstable configuration. Indeed, by pressing on the reservoir against the spring, it can bring the finger to come into one of these recesses C or C of the portion W, and then allow him to follow the guide track to the position marked by the letter B.
- anti-return steps 100 are provided in the bottom of the end portion 64A of the hollow guiding track to ensure that, in case of depression of the tank towards the bottom, the finger engages selectively in one of the hollows, here the hollow of the right; it suffices for this to provide an increase in the depth of the track at the steps 100; a release of the pressure of the reservoir then allows the reservoir to come into the configuration defined by the zone A; a new pressure on the reservoir causes the passage of the finger through the left hollow, then its rise to the upper end portion 64B.
- the axial position of the follower finger as it passes through such a hollow C or C constitutes a neutral driving position which must be crossed in order to pass from position A to position B and vice versa (in practice the two recesses C and C of the W portion are at substantially identical levels with respect to the body).
- the other corner area, marked by the letter A in the upper end portion is provided with non-return steps 200 ensuring that the finger, in case of depression of the tank from the configuration in which the finger is in this position B, necessarily follows one of the return portions to the portion 62A, here the right branch.
- the elastically compressible guiding device located between the body and the reservoir, has a stable retracted configuration determining the low rest position of the reservoir and a maximum extension configuration determining the high working position of this reservoir, the passage of the device from one to the other of these configurations being by retraction beyond the retracted stable position against a spring, this device comprising, distributed on the body and the reservoir, on the one hand a hollow guiding track arranged generally in the longitudinal direction of the body and on the other hand a follower finger engaged in this hollow guiding track, at least when the device is in its maximum extension configuration,
- the cage 10B is advantageously designed to include mechanical stops defining, with complementary spans formed on the reservoir, the upper working position of the reservoir; this prevents the follower pin from being loaded (in any case, not excessively) in this high position.
- These abutments here are shoulders 18 formed along the longitudinal slot 14 of the cage 10B, and the spans adapted to cooperate with these stops in the high position of the reservoir are constituted by the annular bearing on which the spring bears.
- the spring may not be dimensioned to allow to cause by itself the movement of the finger from position A to position B; indeed, an elastic element reported 67 is provided near the track, in the vicinity of this zone in corner B to brake the passage of the finger from this position B towards the position A. It is understood that in this way, even if the movement finger to position B was obtained by a particular action of the user on the bottle, taking over the spring thrust, the follower finger normally remains in this position B until the user makes a inverse movement of the one which brought the follower finger in this position B, applying a sufficient effort to cross this elastic element. In fact, it is sufficient that the spring follows sufficiently powerful to force the reservoir to push the projecting cap out of the body a sufficient distance to allow a grip by the fingers of a user.
- This elastic element attached here an elastic blade, is advantageously arranged relative to the track so as to encroach on the volume swept by the follower finger as it moves from its position B to the position A, which implies that this displacement requires the application of a sufficient force to deform the blade, it is easy to tare to be significantly greater than the simple weight of the tank, as well as moderate thrusts that can be applied to the reservoir during each refill operation product of the applicator (especially for cross the wiper that typically includes a bottle of mascara, but can be omitted according to applications); this ensures that the finger is held in position despite gravity.
- the role of the follower finger, at A, is to cooperate with the wedge zone of the W portion for the retention of the reservoir in its low rest position and, at B, is to cooperate with the element elastic reported to constitute a "hard" point to cross when the user wants to move the tank from its upper working position to said lower rest position.
- the end portions 64A and 64B of the hollow guide track are connected by a single intermediate track, 64C; however, in a variant not shown, these end portions may be connected by parallel track strands, respectively for the rise, and the descent, the follower pin between these high and low end portions.
- the lower portion W is advantageously part of a larger portion in the form of a heart (here reversed) while the upper portion is part of a larger portion in the form of a drop, these forms of heart and drop having pointed junction areas at this single intermediate portion 64C.
- the junctions of the heart and drop portions with the intermediate portion are provided with anti-return steps 300 and 400 which guarantee a guiding effect on the follower finger for him.
- the arm 65B which carries the follower pin 65 works in compression when the follower pin is in its stable position A. This contributes to allowing the entire device to be elastically compressible can be located, for a large part, between the side walls of the tank and the body; this makes it possible to maximize the volume of the reservoir in the internal volume of the body despite the presence of this device.
- the moving movement of the tank between its high and low positions can be ensured by the sole cooperation of the follower pin with the hollow guiding track.
- the elastically compressible device optionally supplemented by these elements 19 and 25, constitutes an elastically compressible guiding device.
- the entire hollow guiding track has the shape of a core, the W portion of which constitutes the lower end portion and the tip constitutes the upper end portion. It has been indicated that a part of this device is mounted on the insert 10B.
- An interest that the body has such an insert is that the establishment of this device between the insert and the reservoir can be outside the tube 10A and the engagement in the tube 10A of the assembly 10B + 20 , with the elements of the elastically compressible device ensures the maintenance in place of these elements in cooperation configuration with this insert and this reservoir.
- this cage is advantageously in the form of a sheath having (see in particular Figure 2 ) a longitudinal slot 14 facing the inner zone of this sleeve where is formed the hollow guiding track (this cage therefore has a generally cross section which has the shape of a C).
- the longitudinal slot 14 may have a width identical to the width of the internal volume of this sleeve, which allows easy engagement of the reservoir in this sleeve.
- the slot is slightly narrower, which allows a commitment almost as easy, while ensuring then a holding effect, the time to position the assembly in the tube 10A.
- the side lights 15 which can be advantageously formed in the residual wall of the sheath, at a distance from the slot 14. allow lightening of the sheath while providing access to the inside of the sheath and to the elements to be implanted therein.
- the sheath advantageously comprises a bottom shaped in a manner complementary to the shape of the tank bottom, taking into account the presence of the elbow of the carrying arm of the follower pin 63.
- transverse slot 16 in the thickness of the bottom.
- This transverse slot allows the introduction of two C parts 17 and 17 'adapted to cooperate, when the sheath is engaged in the tube, to anchor by their rear portion 17A in the inner wall of the tube, taking support l one on the other by their ends 17B (see Figure 6).
- Figures 4 and 5 show the bottle of Figure 1 after assembly.
- the user wants to apply mascara, it presses on the free face of the cap, so as to allow the follower finger to cross the recess C or C of the appropriate portion W, and allow the spring to raise the tank, taking advantage of that finger, after spending the said cavity, can escape towards the position B. Since the application element is then pressed against the reservoir, it follows that the rise of the follower pin which allows the rise of the reservoir also allows that of the application element, including its cap. The user can then grab the cap and continue, if necessary, the rise thereof to bring the reservoir into its maximum extraction position; the finger is then in its position B and remains there because of the presence of the reported elastic element.
- the reservoir and the rod of the applicator element are advantageously provided with complementary axial coupling elements of the reservoir and this application element as long as the reservoir has not reached its position. maximum extraction.
- These complementary axial coupling elements advantageously provide a sealing function.
- two parts are intended to be mounted at the neck of the tank 20 (in practice integrally, so definitive): a part forming the wiper 70, adapted to engage in the upper part of the reservoir through its neck, and a sealing member 80, adapted to engage the end of the reservoir so as to cap the wiper member, and adapted to cooperate with a protrusion 35 carried by the rod of the application element.
- the purpose of the wiper part is to control the amount of product that comes out with the applicator when the user pulls the applicator element out of the reservoir.
- This is typically a piece of flexible material capable of wringing, in a controlled manner, the applicator; this piece has in practice a shape defined according to the shape of the applicator.
- This wiper member comprises a narrowing 71 forming a sealing surface adapted to cooperate with the above-mentioned protuberance 35 forming a seat against which the protuberance 35 comes into abutment when the applicator element is in its recharge configuration in the reservoir. ; under this narrowing is located a squeezing lip 72 of any suitable known type.
- the protuberance comprises a sealing portion
- the sealing surface is completed by a portion 35C forming a plug adapted to engage in the wiper piece 70, beyond the narrowing.
- the protrusion 35 has a body 35B having a generally frustoconical shape flaring towards the cap and comprises, at a distance from the sealing portion 35A in the direction of the cap, a transverse surface 35D.
- the sealing piece 80 comprises a flange formed along its circumference with a plurality of rigid sectors 81 and flexible sectors 82, by which it has a relaxed configuration in which it has a transverse space greater than the cross section. internal body and a restricted configuration in which, by compression of soft areas, it is confined in the internal volume of the body.
- These rigid sectors are advantageously connected by flexible portions to a rigid ring 84 constituting the lower part of the part 80.
- the flexible sectors they are advantageously obtained by overmoulding of this ring and rigid sectors integrally with it.
- At least the rigid sectors 81 comprise, along the inner edge of the flange, flanges 81 B adapted to engage axially against the transverse surface 35D of the protrusion 35.
- flanges 82B are also provided on the sectors flexible.
- these sectors advantageously have external flanges 81 C or 82C.
- the ring 84 constituting the lower part of the piece 80 is a skirt whose axial dimension makes it possible to fix the axial distance between the flanges 81 B and the constriction 71 so that the engagement of the flanges 81 B against the transverse extent of the protrusion 35 is obtained when the sealing portion 35A is applied against the span sealing 71 to compress the possible seal provided in the area 35A; the engagement of the flanges against this transverse surface thus ensures the maintenance in position of these sealing elements.
- the protuberance is, at least in its portion 35A, made of a material capable of compressing elastically when the protrusion comes against its seat in the room 80.
- a complementary function of this cooperation between flanges 81 B and 35D is that this cooperation ensures an axial coupling between the reservoir and the application element as the collar is maintained in its restricted configuration, which allows a movement of extraction applied by a user on the cap, so on the application element is transferred to the tank so as to ensure the end of its rise to its upper working position, regardless of the force of the spring 61.
- Figure 8 shows a configuration where a user has partially engaged the applicator element in the reservoir, i.e. the rod has already passed through the parts 70 and 80, and the protuberance is about to to engage in the room 80.
- the collar is in its relaxed configuration.
- FIGS. 12 to 15 show, in a partial manner, an alternative embodiment of a bottle according to the invention, distinguished from the bottle described above by the structure of the elastically compressible device, in particular in its part where the follower finger is located when the tank is in its high working position.
- the guide track 564 of FIG. 12 comprises a low end portion 564A having the same geometry as that of FIGS. 2 and 3.
- the high end portion 564B connected to the portion 564A by a single portion 564C, has a geometry which is distinguished from the drop shape of Figures 2 and 3 in that the upper end portion is a longitudinal track strand in the bottom of which is formed a cavity 564D (see Figure 15).
- This cavity is connected to the bottom of the hollow guiding track by a ramp 564E whose role will appear later.
- the guide track widens at the location of this cavity.
- an insert 567 having the shape of a U whose branches 567A and 567B are oriented longitudinally downwards, that is to say towards the rest of the guide track. These branches are shaped so as to form between them a space 567C that can receive the follower finger. These branches have projections towards each other, so as to form, axially opposite the bottom of the U, a throat width less than the width of the follower pin, so that a finger escape out of this space can only be done by forcing a separation of the branches until widening the throttle until reaching the width of this follower finger.
- this insert is such that its face oriented towards the inside of the cage is substantially flush with the bottom of the rest of the track when it is in place in the cage.
- This U-shaped piece is engaged in a slot formed in the thickness of the cage 510B (see Figure 14, where only a lateral flank of the guide track is shown), so as to avoid that, when the finger tends to spread the branches, their deformation takes place parallel to the wall of this cage.
- the follower finger is elastically biased towards the bottom of the cavity, transversely to the longitudinal direction of the bottle, for example as a consequence of the choice, for the arm 565A, of an elastic material and a suitable prestressing assembly.
- the follower finger When the reservoir is in its upper working position, the follower finger is engaged in the space formed between the branches of the U-shaped part, and between the bottom of this U and the constriction formed by these branches.
- the fact that the branches of the insert is substantially flush with the bottom of the remainder of the guide track has the advantage that the follower finger can slide on the branches, without penetrating them, until s snap into the space between the branches near the bottom of the U-shape; the branches can be crossed, during the climb, without opposing resistance.
- the branches of the U-shaped piece are a hard point to cross for the follower pin in the direction of the descent of the tank in the body.
- this follower pin denoted 565 '
- this follower pin can be mounted on an elastic blade 565A' curved so as to ensure such transverse prestressing opposite the inside of the reservoir.
- FIGs 16 to 18 show another alternative embodiment, the elements similar to those of Figures 12 to 15 are designated by references which are deduced from those used in these figures by adding the number 100.
- FIGS 16 to 18 describe, in part, a bottle that differs from that of Figures 12 to 15 in that the U-shaped part is replaced by an insert having a closed orifice 667C, here with branches that are connected to each other at a distance from the bottom of the U, so as not to be able to deviate.
- the operation of the elastically compressible guiding device is substantially the same, except that, to escape out of the space 667C, the follower finger must move back to the level of the face of this part. which is oriented towards the tank.
- the follower pin 665 is advantageously connected to its arm 665A by a flexible portion 665D, by means of which the follower pin can tilt towards the longitudinal direction of the bottle, so as to be able to escape out of the space 667C.
- the inclination of the follower finger has the effect that the side wall of the finger can act as a ramp to be able to leave this space.
- FIG. 17 represents a variant of the follower pin of FIG. 13, in which the follower pin, carried by an elastically flexible blade 665A ', comprises an inclined flank adapted to constitute a ramp 665' B facilitating the exit of the follower pin out of the 667C space.
- Figure 19 shows an alternative embodiment in which the coupling between the reservoir and the application element is obtained by simpler elements than those shown in Figure 7, since it is a simple snap.
- This bottle differs mainly from the bottle of Figures 1 to 12 by the geometry of the elements which are formed on the reservoir to ensure a coupling of the reservoir with the application element.
- the role of the rigid sectors 81 which close like jaws behind the transverse scope of the protuberance is here ensured by simple bosses 1081 formed on the inner surface of the reservoir, so that it can be crossed by the protuberance during the penetration of the application element into the reservoir; these bosses form obstacles whose crossing implies that the user provides, temporarily, an extra effort to that necessary to slide the reservoir in the body.
- a bottle according to the invention can combine the construction of Figures 1 to 12, replacing the carrier arm of the follower finger with a flexible blade, as this is represented in FIG. 13.
- the elastically compressible device may, as a variant, comprise a set of rings of the type described in EP-1 721 543.
