Abstract
Description
図1及び図2を参照して、本発明の第1の実施形態に係る移動通信システムの構成について説明する。
図3乃至図9を参照して、本発明の第1の実施形態に係る移動通信システムの動作、具体的には、フェムトセル用無線基地局201、202及びマクロセル用無線基地局203、204の運用中に、フェムトセル用無線基地局200が新たに設置された場合の動作について説明する。
本発明の第1の実施形態に係る移動通信システムによれば、フェムトセル用無線基地局が、共通制御信号の送信レベルの自動制御機能を具備しており、マクロセル用無線基地局が、共通制御信号の送信レベルを固定的に設定していることを考慮して、フェムトセル用無線基地局は、周辺セル(周辺無線基地局)にマクロセル(マクロセル用無線基地局)が含まれている場合は、自局のサービスエリアを確保することを最優先して、所要SIRを自局で要求されるサービスエリアで確保できるように、共通制御信号の送信レベルを自動制御し、周辺セル(周辺無線基地局)がフェムトセル(フェムトセル用無線基地局)のみの場合には、周辺セル(周辺無線基地局)との間で、共通制御信号の送信レベルの自動制御機能を互いに動作させることにより干渉を回避することができる。
図10を参照して、本実施形態の変更例1に係る移動通信システムについて説明する。

Claims (15)
- 周辺セルから送信される共通制御信号を受信するように構成されている共通制御信号受信部と、
受信した前記共通制御信号の受信レベルを測定するように構成されている測定部と、
受信した前記共通制御信号に基づいて、前記周辺セルにおける該共通制御信号の送信レベル及び該周辺セルの種別を認識するように構成されている認識部と、
前記共通制御信号の受信レベルと前記周辺セルにおける前記共通制御信号の送信レベルと該周辺セルの種別とに基づいて、共通制御信号の送信レベルを決定するように構成されている送信レベル決定部と、
前記送信レベル決定部によって決定された前記送信レベルで、共通制御信号を送信するように構成されている共通制御信号送信部とを具備することを特徴とする無線基地局。 - 前記周辺セルの種別には、前記共通制御信号の送信レベルを変更しない第1セル及び前記共通制御信号の送信レベルを変更する第2セルが含まれていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線基地局。
- 前記認識部は、前記共通制御信号に含まれているセル種別識別情報に基づいて、前記周辺セルの種別を認識するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線基地局。
- 前記認識部は、認識した前記共通制御信号の送信レベルが第1閾値より大きい周辺セルの種別を前記第1セルであると認識し、認識した前記共通制御信号の送信レベルが第1閾値以下である周辺セルの種別を前記第2セルであると認識するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の無線基地局。
- 前記送信レベル決定部は、前記周辺セルとして前記第1セルが1つでも存在すると判定した場合、前記測定部によって測定された前記共通制御信号の受信レベルの総和に基づいて、前記共通制御信号の送信レベルを決定するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の無線基地局。
- 前記送信レベル決定部は、前記周辺セルの全てが前記第2セルであると判定した場合、前記測定部によって測定された前記共通制御信号の受信レベル及び前記認識部によって認識された前記周辺セルにおける前記共通制御信号の送信レベルに基づいて算出された該周辺セルと前記無線基地局との間の伝搬損失に基づいて、前記共通制御信号の送信レベルを決定するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の無線基地局。
- 前記共通制御信号送信部が、前記送信レベル決定部によって前記伝搬損失に基づいて決定された前記送信レベルで前記共通制御信号を送信した後、前記測定部によって測定された前記共通制御信号の受信レベルの総和が第2閾値より大きい状態で、所定期間が経過した場合、該送信レベル決定部は、該共通制御信号の受信レベルの総和に基づいて、前記共通制御信号の送信レベルを決定するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の無線基地局。
- 前記共通制御信号送信部は、一定期間、前記無線基地局における最大可能送信レベルで、前記共通制御信号を送信した後、前記送信レベル決定部によって決定された前記送信レベルで、前記共通制御信号を送信するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線基地局。
- 前記送信レベル決定部は、定期的に、前記共通制御信号の送信レベルを決定するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線基地局。
- 無線基地局を収容するネットワーク装置であって、
前記無線基地局の周辺セルから送信される共通制御信号の受信レベルと、該周辺レベルにおける該共通制御信号の送信レベルと、該周辺セルの種別とに基づいて、該無線基地局における共通制御信号の送信レベルを決定するように構成されている送信レベル決定部と、
前記送信レベル決定部によって決定された前記送信レベルを、前記無線基地局に通知するように構成されている通知部とを具備することを特徴とするネットワーク装置。 - 前記周辺セルの種別には、前記共通制御信号の送信レベルを変更しない第1セル及び前記共通制御信号の送信レベルを変更する第2セルが含まれていることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のネットワーク装置。
- 前記送信レベル決定部は、前記周辺セルとして前記第1セルが1つでも存在すると判定した場合、前記共通制御信号の受信レベルの総和に基づいて、前記共通制御信号の送信レベルを決定するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のネットワーク装置。
- 前記送信レベル決定部は、前記周辺セルの全てが前記第2セルであると判定した場合、前記共通制御信号の受信レベル及び前記周辺セルにおける前記共通制御信号の送信レベルに基づいて算出された該周辺セルと前記無線基地局との間の伝搬損失に基づいて、前記共通制御信号の送信レベルを決定するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のネットワーク装置。
- 前記無線基地局が、前記送信レベル決定部によって前記伝搬損失に基づいて決定された前記送信レベルで前記共通制御信号を送信した後、該無線基地局における前記共通制御信号の受信レベルの総和が第2閾値より大きい状態で、所定期間が経過した場合、該送信レベル決定部は、該共通制御信号の受信レベルの総和に基づいて、前記共通制御信号の送信レベルを決定するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項13に記載のネットワーク装置。
- 前記送信レベル決定部は、定期的に、前記共通制御信号の送信レベルを決定するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のネットワーク装置。
