  • This invention concerns improvements in or relating to ablutionary appliances. More especially, the invention relates to the design of actuators utilised with ablutionary appliances, in particular, but not exclusively mixing valves.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil sanitaire, tel qu'un mitigeur, comprenant un actionneur (102) faisant saillie à partir d'une face (106) d'un boîtier lorsqu'il est en position active, l'actionneur (102) pouvant alors être tourné manuellement en vue de la commande du mitigeur. L'actionneur peut être maintenu dans une position inactive dans le boîtier, une surface avant (104) de l'actionneur (102) étant alors sensiblement à fleur de la face (106), et se déplace dans la position active lors de sa libération. Une ailette (110) est montée pivotante dans l'actionneur (102) et s'étend à partir de la paroi latérale (108) de l'actionneur (102) dans la position active. Cette ailette (110) améliore la préhension de l'actionneur (102) par l'utilisateur dans la position active. Ladite ailette (110) est rentrée dans l'actionneur (102) lorsque ce dernier revient en position inactive et sort lorsque l'actionneur entre en position active.
